She was nervous, he knew it. 'Jack 1, Kida 0' he thought and decided to try to irritate her a bit. She was so cute when she was mad. Jack looked as if he was thinking really hard. "Nope, don't think I have" he said after a while, shrugging.

Kida narrowed her eyes. "No?" she asked, wrinkling her nose. "No pretty tan, white haired girlfriend? Are you sure?"
It was a battle of wills. Who would come out on top?
Kida chewed lightly at her bottom lip and reached up, putting her hand close to Jack's cheek, close enough that she could feel the heat rising off of it. "Are you reeaaallly sure?"

Jack was enjoying the game. He looked as if he was thinking hard again, tilting his head from side to side, frowning. "Nope, still can't remember anyone" he replied after a while, shaking his head, wearing an innocent look on his face.

Jack noticed Kida's slight irritation. 'Aww, she's too cute when she's mad!' he thought. "But he doesn't have to know, does he?" he asked grinning.

Kida pretended to think for a bit. "Weeeelll, maybe not. I mean, after all, he does leave me allll alone for ever so long."
She leaned in slightly, smiling and winking.

"Tch tch...now, what kind of a boyfriend does such a thing to a lovely young lady such as yourself?" he said, shaking his head in disapproval. "If it were me, I'd never do something like that..." his words trailed off and he smiled.

Kida bit her bottom lip and smiled sweetly. "I'm sure you wouldn't. After all, pirates are known for their loyalty and commitment, aren't they?" she asked, mockingly.
She leaned in closer. "I'll bet you've left lots of broken hearts on distant shores, hm?"

"Ah, but it's not the lack of loyalty and commitment pirates are known for...It's more like...how should I say?...we have too much of em" he explained and flashed her a mischievous grin. "Some people just take it the wrong way..." he winked.

"Ohh," Kida said, agreeing, but with a mocking tone. "I can see that." She stood up on her tiptoes, so that her nose almost touched his.
"I have always wanted to have a fling with a real pirate. They've always had an attractive sort of mysterious appeal to them."

Jack chuckled quietly. "Have they now?" He leaned in closer, his mouth almost touching Kida's ear and whispered: "Well...what are you waiting for? There's one right here."

Kida felt as though she couldn't breath and one hand closed over the crystal around her neck, out of habit.
"Oh, but," she said, whispering back, her throat dry and the words barely making it out. "How do I know you're not just taking advantage of a poor lonely girl?"

Jack made his best puppy face. "Would I do that? Me? Moi?" he asked full of innocence. He then smiled as sweetly as he could, trying not to grin. "Trust me" he murmured "Or is that too much to ask?".

Kida was tired of playing around. She didn't think she could continue the game anymore.
"Oh, I don't," she said coyly, then winked. "But I suppose I don't have to." She grabbed the collar of his shirt to pull him down closer to her as she streched up to meeth his lips with hers.

Jack was taken by surprise, a happy one at that. He wasn't sure who had won in the end. "It's not such a bad way to lose..." he thought.
He ran a hand through Kida's hair and wrapped the other one around her waist. "No...I guess you don't have to" he replied and returned the kiss.
