[Sirius, Faust, Puck, and Minerva]
Tymiko the Pirate Girl
"...So easy to get lost. Don't go that way, I can't see you!" Puck had a difficult time keeping an eye on Minerva as the smaller clouds kept coming between them.

"Be careful here," he advised, looking around suspiciously for signs of magic. "Something different...can you sense it?"

Rogue X
Minerva frowned, "different?" Different wasn't usually a good thing. "I don't sense anything different, then again, I don't think I've gotten the hang of 'sensing' things." She turned to Puck "What kind of 'different'?"

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
"Like...'magic' different. I don't know, it's hard to explain. It's like when Wonderland was here, only...it's so much more different. I don't know...but we better stay alert...come on."

Taking her hand, he decended almost to the point where his feet touched the ground, but not quite.

Rogue X
Minerva gladly took Puck's hand, but her mind was thinking on what he had said... the magic was different?

"Maybe someone new showed up?" She offered as a suggestion as she started walking, "want to go find them? Or should we stay away?" As she asked the question, she turned her head to look around at their surroundings.

"Someone new could mean a new friend!" She said with a grin.

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
Puck shook his head as he continued to walk into the town. "I don't know. Maybe. But they'd have to have a lot of magic...this is a really big deal for just one new kid."

He stared to peek around corners and into alleyways, just in case Minerva was right. He didn't want to be caught unaware by someone with that much magic. "We won't know 'till we find them. What do you say? I think if we're careful we'll be able to find whatever it is before it finds us. Then we can decide what to do."

"Sure a new friend, or a new enemy." the fae thought aloud, not eager to have either at the moment.

Rogue X
Minerva held Puck's hand a little tighter, someone really strong? Maybe a lot of strong people? That didn't sound good.

"That sounds like a plan, and-" Minerva turned her head to Puck "don't think that, we don't know if they're mean or anything." She said as she peaked around a corner before sighing, she didn't want an enemy, and at this rate she wouldn't have any. Where was this person, or people? Were they hiding?

agentgirl112
He stretched and yawned at the same time. Apparently he'd taken himself to a Town. Wandering was incredibly boring, and Sirius had lost focus after a few minutes. His hand was clutching a wand, though he hadn't used it yet. You'd think exploring would be more interesting... But it wasn't especially when there was nothing interesting around. He could have set up a trap for someone --it wouldn't be that hard, there were a lot of easy tricks he could pull.

He started whistling an unknown tune, still wandering around. Half of this stuff he probably wouldn't even remember the next morning, so he didn't feel the need to pay much attention to the world around him. Now, if he had actually been searching for something, then he would have been much more amused. "Booooring." He flicked his wand, but didn't use any magic yet.

Demented Kid
Walking around the streets of Traverse town with his usual book infront of him, Faust's eyes made a mental note of the black haired boy he had just past. He didn't fancy bumping into anyone strange, especially after what happened to that girl at home.

Frowning just a little bit, Faust then made a mental reminder to himself why he was out here exactly. Poppies.

Though, has he came to the next corner, he took note of the pair that were peeking round it, one a girl, the other a floating white haired boy.

Wait.. floating?

Pausing and giving them a stare instead of his usal glance, a look of terror passed over the blonde's features, pointing at the fae. "DEMON!"

Only demon's could float and had pointed ears like that! He read it in a book. But obviously not a very good one.

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
Puck froze where he was, then turned around, searching for the lunatic who had thought he'd seen a demon. Perhaps he had...

Demon...Demona? The name echoed in his head. He shook his head, pushing the thought aside.

Dumbstruck, the fae boy located the blonde boy with huge glasses, though he could not figure out what it was exactly he...

Hold on... The boy was pointing directly at him.

"Demon?" Puck repeated calmly, slowly decending until his feet touched the ground. Without flying, he was shorter than Minerva and it felt awkward, but he decided it was best not to upset the kid anymore than he already was. "You must be mistaken. I assure you, I am, in fact, a quite respectable fae. No demons around here."

Rogue X
Minerva's eyes widened as she looked at the boy "Demon? Whe-" She turned to see Puck landing. She turned back to the boy and smiled sweetly "he's not a demon," She slipped her hand out of Pucks and walked over to the boy.

"I'm Minerva, and this is Puck, he's no demon. There's no reason to be afraid, come on." She held out her hand for him to take to lead him back over to Puck.

agentgirl112
Sirius had taken a hard turn when he saw the boy with strange glasses. He continued his whistling, following after him. There was something about him --probably the glasses-- that made him want to wander after Faust. It was interesting until he shouted. That was when Sirius started to actually pay attention to everything.

He kept walking until he reached where Faust had stopped, and near where Minerva had been standing. "He's not a demon, but you're a witch, though, right?" He nodded to himself. She wasn't really trying that hard to hide it. Neither was he, actually. He thought about that for a second before reminding himself there was actually something interesting in front of him. Maybe he should have been trying to hide it. He felt like he should have been keeping a low profile, but he wasn't very good at that.

Demented Kid
"Fae? What on earth is a F-fae!?" Faust stuttered, tucking the book under hsi arm and frowning.

Oh dear, it looked like he made a fool of himself. Though... Couldn't be TOO sure that this.. Fae was inleagues with the dark arts.

But upon hearing the new voice from the boy he had seen just moments ago, his thoughts were confirmed.

Instead of taking the girl's hand, he imediately took a step back wards, the scared face reappearing. "A witch, huh? Dealing in the Blackt arts and Him down below!"

Normally he wasn't so bold when talking, he just didn't like people who were supposedly connected to.. well. "Satan"

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
"Fae. You know...the third race? Oberon's children?" Puck raised a brow. "No? Alright, then, how about...fairy? Simple enough for you?" He noticed the book in Faust hand with a note of disgust. No wander he was so ignorant. Books seemed only to confuse humans on the existance of Fae.

As they spoke, a new stranger camed up from what seeme like nowhere. He addressed Minerva as if he knew her! And he had a stick.

Puck glared at him. He was obviously a magic mortal, just as Minerva was. How come they were so similar? Was he perhaps the source of magic he had sensed earlier? The boy didn't look that strong...

Rogue X
Minerva turned to the even more new boy, a look of confusion on her face "yeah, how did you know-" She paused in her talking as she saw something in his hand... was that a wand?

Suddenly she turned back to Faust, was he scared of her? "Wait, what!? I do no such thing!" A hurt expression crossed her face as she took a few steps back towards Puck, and feeling more safe when she did so.

Who was the other boy? Was he like her? She glanced over at the boy with the wand "who are you?" She asked, trying to ignore the boy who had just insulted her, "you have a wand too... are you a wizard, can you do magic?" Maybe he was the one Puck had sensed earlier.

agentgirl112
Sirius grinned at her. "You didn't really hide it. I'm actually suprised he didn't notice it." He pointed to Faust. "But he was probably distracted by the fairy," now he pointed to Puck. He didn't think he looked like a fairy --not that he'd really know-- but he didn't think the pointy-eared boy was one.

He looked at Faust and shook his head a little. "I don't think she uses dark magic." All the green she was wearing reminded him of something. Something he didn't like. But he didn't know what it was, so he didn't talk about it.

"I'm Sirius. Sirius Black." He pointed to himself with his wand, before pointing it away from himself. He was lucky that he hadn't accidently thrown himself backwards. "I can, but I might scare glasses boy more than he already is." He laughed.

Demented Kid
"H-h-hey!" Faust frowned angrily at Sirius, gripping the gigantic book under his arm just a light tighter for courage. "D-d-don't make fun of my glasses!"

Bringing up his free hand, he adjusted his glasses so that were firmly on his nose while his frown became more sad. "Y-y-you dont LOOK like a Fairy! M-m-my older brother is one and he looks nothing like you do.."

Bowing his head a little, he adjusted his glasses again in a nervous manner to try and keep himself quiet again. He wasn't too sure what to reply to the wizard and witch.

Perhaps he should just go find those flowers he was wanting.

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
"Well, technically I'm not a fairy, but that's the closest thing you mortal would probably identify my kind with." The white-haired boy replied irritably. He paused when he mentioned his brother being a fairy.

"What?!" Another fae? Perhaps, but not likely...he would have been able to sense them, wouldn't he have? He remembered the Weird sisters... "I highly doubt that your 'brother' is a fae...but anyway...what are you?"

All the while he watched the...'wizard' converse with Minerva. The more he watched, the more he didn't like him. One of those proud mortals who considered themselves indestructable just because they could weild magic. "Sirius Black..." he repeated. "Nice stick. Keep that thing away."

Rogue X
"He said his brother is a fairy, which is different than a fae... right?" Minerva asked as she glanced over her shoulder at Puck.

She turned to face the boy again "Sirius Black? Nice to meet you, I'm Minerva McGonagall, and this is Puck." She motioned behind her before another thought hit her.

"What did you mean I wasn't 'hiding' being a witch? And... where are you from?" She felt a twinge of hopeful-ness spring up from nowhere, maybe she was from the same place? Maybe he could help her figure everything out from before she arrived here?

She turned to Puck and smiled before turning back to Sirius, she knew Puck didn't like meeting new people, but she hoped he wouldn't mind this once.

agentgirl112
"Force of habit. If you told me your real name, I wouldn't have to give you a nickname." He started his whistling again. It wasn't very easy for him to keep from calling the other boy a 'muggle,' but he didn't really remember what it meant.

He smirked. "I'll try." He didn't particularly like Puck, either. He couldn't say he hated him, though. It was cool to see someone able to fly without a broom, that was for sure. But there was something about the fae he just didn't trust. "And that's magic stick, to you."

Sirius sighed, finding it hard to explain. He didn't really know how to, himself. "Well, something about the two of you just seems magic. Even without the floating." He glanced back at Puck when she did. "I, well... I don't know. I just got here a while ago, but I don't really remember where I came from."

Demented Kid
"B-b-but my brother is a fairy! He grants wishes! He's not a G-genie though!" The blonde retorted, moving the book around so he was hugging it to him. "A-and I'm a human being!"

This was why he didn't have very many friends at school, he'd always seem to put himself into a tight position and end up getting laughed at and somewhat bullied. He was not one for people, especially not a small crowd like this.

"Johann... Johann Faust..." He replied quietly to Sirius, turning away shyly.

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
"Hmm..." At first Puck had thought it unlikely the boy with glasses would be able to distinguish a Fae from a fairy, but now that he thought of it...maybe his brother was a fairy.

"Wishes? You think genies are the only ones who grant wishes?" He sighed and closed his eyes. "Best get rid of that book of yours. Seems it's doing more harm than helping," the fae told him, tapping his own head meaningfully. "Naturally a human would believe everything they read in a book..."

In a quick motion, he darted forward to seize the book from Faust.

"Ha. Magic stick indeed...I suppose yours turns trees pink as well?" he snapped, becoming irritable all of a sudden. Puck took to the air again, no longer being able to bear standing on the ground among all the mortals. being so short only added to his frustration.

Rogue X
Minerva frowned, well there went that idea out the window. Oh well, she didn't really need to learn about where she came from, she was happy right here.

Minerva smiled as she walked a few feets closer to Johann Faust "you're a human being? Well guess what, so am I." She slowly smiled "try to be more open-minded, hm?" She suggested with a giggle.

She then turned to face Puck, her smiles and giggles were gone, what was wrong with him? "Puck, what's wrong?" But before she could finish Puck flew past her to Faust and grabbed the book before going back to the air.

Minerva frowned and floated up to Puck, he was angry or upset, she could tell, she just didn't know what to do. "So what made you so upset that you felt the need to pick on people?" She asked, the hint of a hurt expression on her face, Pucks words had hit her hard even if they weren't directed at her.

"Can I have the book?" She asked, holding out her hand.

agentgirl112
"Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but I really don't know." He was already getting accustomed to this place. He should have thought that a floating, pointy-eared boy was strange, like Faust. But apparently magic wasn't anything new to him. His clothes felt normal, too. Even though they were robes that felt a little big on him, they felt comfortable.

He raised his hand. "I am, too." He flicked his wand again, still not using magic. He just couldn't put it anywhere else --no pockets. He watched as Puck swooped down and took the book. "Very smooth." He spoke sarcastically to Puck. In case Minerva's method didn't work, he could always try and get the book away from Puck, himself. Though he knew that probably wouldn't work well at all.

Demented Kid
"No I dont! I was pointing out he wasn't a genie incase you thought so!" Faust huffed, again adjusting the middle of his glasses.

He didn't look very pleased at all at the Fae boy, but he frowned when Minerva came a little closer.

"I-I-I know you're human's but that doesn't stop you using mag-HEY!" Being interuptted by having his book taken did not please Faust in the slightest, infact it was rather like school.

His eyes widened, looking bigger then they were before throught those giant spectacles, infact he looked like he was likely to cry if he didn't get back his book. "I need that book!"

The book itself was nothing to do with magic, demons, or fairies. The title read "Natural Medicines and their uses: Advanced Edition"

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
Upon reading the title of the book, Puck frowned. This Faust fellow was even more messed up than he thought. It was a wonder he even knew what a fairy was.

He sighed, tossing the book back down into Faust's arms. "If you really need it so badly...though it disgusts me such an item means so much to someone your age."

Turning to Minerva, Puck scowled. "I'm not picking on him. I'm just wondering why he doesn't seem to have the slightest clue about magic and yet his brother's a fairy. Speaking of magic, why don't you ask your new friend Sirius down there how to do magic? I'm sure he knows tons of things. Who knows? Maybe you can turn into a cat and he can turn into a dog and you two can go run off and play with your magic sticks."

He didn't know why the animal dog came to mind, but for some reason the boy seemed to remind him vaguely of one.

agentgirl112
Sirius hadn't seen the front or side of the book clearly. Either way, it was Faust's choice what books he read. It did seem a bit big for a child. He didn't really love books, but they had their uses. They made a good hiding place for newts. That is, until the owner of the book found them.

He objected to Puck's comment and behavior. The fae was a spoilsport, to say the least. "I probably know just as much as her, if not less, Puck. And you probably could survive at least trying to tolerate us for a few minutes." He didn't comment on the changing into an animal comment. They could find out about that later.

Rogue X

Minerva dropped her hand, happy that the book was back in it's owners hands, but Puck was still acting... like he was.

As Puck turned his foul espression in her direction, she couldn't help but flinch. What had happened to the Puck from earlier that day, and every other day? Since when did Puck get so mean with her?

"Maybe he doesn't know because he doesn't need to know, some people don't know everything about their silblings, Puck, and..." Sniffling, Minerva inwardly scolded herself. She wasn't one for crying, but when it came to her best friend speaking to her like that...

Minerva slowly floated herself to the ground where she just stood for a few seconds, completely silent. "If you don't want to be here that badly Puck, then just leave!" She crossed her arms over her chest and tilted her head so her hat covered her face.

Demented Kid
Glad that he had his book back, Faust hugged it to himself in a rather cowardly manner, he didn't like how Puck was talking to him and everyone. Infact he fell completely silent after Puck described what he read as disgusting.

Bowing his head again, he bowed his head and shuffled slowly towards where Minerva floated to the ground, also closer to Sirius.

"I-I-I'm sorry to have caused you trouble..." He mumbled quietly. "M-m-maybe I-I should just go and you're friend wont be annoyed..."

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
Puck looked murderous. "Very well," he said quietly. "Perhaps I should. I'll leave you all alone so you can laugh about the stupid fae boy who can't even recite a spell or remember anything even though he claims hasn't forgot a single moment of his immortal life. You can talk about how on top of that, he's starting to get mortal emotions and he might as well be a funny-looking human or some common demon.

But I will not stay here and be made fun of for knowing nothing of your human ways. I'm not a mortal and I never want to be. Farewell, Minerva. For now..." With a cold glare, his eyes began to glow a pale yellow light until his pupils were no longer visible. In his anger, his whole body glowed with the same pale light, and then he vanished.

Rogue X
Minerva frowned "No Faust, that's.... it's got nothing to do with you, I'm sorry you had to see him like that, you too Sirius, just ignore him, he... he's not normally like this! If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go for a walk..."

For a few seconds she didn't do or say anything, she suddenly lifted her hat and broke into a run away from the two, hopefully she could meet them again later to make up for the horrible scene the two had to witness.

As soon as they were out of eyesight, Minerva stopped and sniffed. Wanting to be a big girl that didn't cry, she just stood there and tried to calm herself down, but Puck looked... he said...

Did Puck not want to be her best friend anymore?

agentgirl112
Sirius half expected Puck to take Faust's book with him. Or burn it. When he did neither, the wizard was surprised. His wand was behind his back, just in case. "Great. I'll have to apologize to him later. That is, if I ever see him again." Just because he didn't like Puck, didn't mean he could try to be nice once in a while. He sighed. "And her, too." He said once Minerva was gone. Faust was the only other person left. He didn't want to show him his magic --he was a little afraid that the boy would try to beat him with his book. The spells he normally used weren't nice, but they weren't evil. Just misunderstood.

"What a great day." He spoke sarcastically. "Faust, I'm going to fine something interesting to do. They need some time alone, anyway. If you want to come, you're welcome to. But it might take a while before I find someone 'willing' to participate in my fun." He grinned again. Then, he started walking off in the opposite direction.

[Sirius and Puck]

Rogue X
Speaking of Minerva... she was now lost. As she ran away from the three girls, she had taken a wrong turn, and had not noticed.

Oh well, she could always fly up and get un-lost, but she was happy to just walk around and look at new stuff, of course she wasn't paying any attention to the new stuff at all.

Finding a bench, she placed the shield on it before sitting on it herself, rubbing at her cheeks with her sleeves, all that stupid crying had irritated her cheeks. She turned to the shield beside her and traced the pheonix design with her index finger, a sad smile on her face.

"So much for never getting mad at me, huh?" She asked it, "but it's going to be alright, I'm going to help him and make him feel better. He'll come and see me, he has to, I have you. Even if Puck doesn't like me anymore, he'll come back for the magical shield so I'll be able to tell him I'm sorry for... whatever I did." She frowned.

Tymiko the Pirate Girl

Hearing a familiar voice, the fae glanced down and decended onto one of the rooftops. Sure enough, there was Minerva. Was she crying? It was hard to tell. He wasn't sure he wanted to know. It would only add to his guilt, and that was one feeling he was sick and tired of.

He noticed the Gate as she placed it beside her and then began to speak to it. That surprised him; did she think it was one of those living items? Or was she just really lonely? Again guilt weighed down heavily on him.

Come to think of it, the Weird sisters never had mentioned just what item Titania had managed to trap herself in. It could be anything; even the Pheonix Gate. He made a note to keep an eye on it just in case it started acting suspicious.

She sounds like one of those plotting villans from a child's storybook, Puck thought as he listened. It was almost funny in a way, but he worried for her sanity. If she thinks I care about that piece of magic metal more than her she really has gone crazy...hmm...maybe it was a bad idea leaving her all alone.

He withdrew before she could look up and spot him. I wonder where that Sirius Black and the Faust boy have gone off to? He drifted a little further into the town, hping to spot one of them. What he would do when he did, he wasn't sure, but he knew he needed to find one.

agentgirl112
Sirius was busy. He was busy setting up a trap for an unsuspecting citizen. All the while, he was whistling. His magic went unnoticed by the few people around him, and he was lucky for that. A few spells was all it took. Of course, he was only halfway through. Pranks could take anywhere from seconds to minutes. Some of the best took a few days. But he didn't have that kind of time, so he used what he had. He wasn't looking up, so he didn't see Puck above him.

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
"Nice trap. I wonder who it's meant for?" Puck inquired aloud, studying Sirius's magic. It wasn't bad, but then none of the wizard and witchcraft magic he had seen so far had been terrible. He was vaguly impressed, though imagined Minerva could do better.

"And here I thought you were the sort against all those pranks and bullying." He floated down to Black's level, where he could speak to him face to face. "You and I need to have a little chat, I think."

agentgirl112
Sirius almost had a heart attack when Puck came down. Of course, he lost the focus he'd been using to keep the pieces of the trap in place. They dropped to the ground, startling a few people that weren't prepared for a loud noise. "Sorry!" He called to them, before looking back at the fae. "Don't just pop in front of me like that, Puck." He groaned. "Now I have to set everything up again."

For a second, he'd thought Puck was a teacher for some reason. After a momentary pause, he responded. "So?" He motioned to show Puck he could keep talking.

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
"I don't 'pop' out of thin air like your kind do." He looked up at the startled people, then back at Sirius. He was apologizing to people who could have been victims of his trap. It seemed Sirius Black was more of an enigma than Puck had thought.

"So...you scoff at me for taking that Faust boy's book and then I catch you setting up a trap for passerbys. And then you apologize for startling them." He closed his eyes and rubbed his forehead before swooping down to pick up some of the pieces Sirius had dropped and handing them back to him. "I'll never understand you mortals..."

"Though that's probably why you all interest me so. Tell me, what happened after I left?" he asked calmly. "I didn't mean to vanish like that. First time it's happened since I got here. I haven't taken to my old magics as quickly as my sisters, nor relearned them as swift as you or Minerva, and therefore I've become rather irritable at my recent shortcoming as a fae. You'll have to forgive me from our previous encounter."

agentgirl112
Sirius sighed. "I'm not allowed to 'pop' yet." Of course, he was refering to Apparating. He could still use Floo Powder, but he doubted he could find any. And he had no broom. Walking would have to do for a while, until something better came along.

"Let's just say I'm eccentric. Anyway, they weren't the ones I was setting the trap for." He smiled, leaving Puck to try and figure out what he meant. The pieces weren't as threatening when they were just lying in his arms. "Who says you have to?" He grinned, and then placed them in a pile to his right. It wasn't like anyone was going to steal them.

"Well, after you left, Minerva went for a 'walk.' She waited a little while, then started running. Then I left. Dunno where Faust is, though." That was what he could remember of what happened. For all he knew, Minerva had gone to get candy. Although, she hadn't looked like she was in the mood for that.

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
"Allowed? You have to be allowed?" Puck raised a brow. "Well someone better tell that to Minerva because she's been poping in and out of thin air nearly as long as she's been here. It's a lot more fun to do things when you're not allowed though," he said, smirking.

He stared at the pieces in Sirius' arms and frowned. "Don't you anything about me or even my race? I happen to be an experienced trickster myself, and though I lack my magic, I am not likely to fall for your petty pranks if I can help it. Second, fae are weak against only one thing." He paused, still unsure if the wizard had been refering to him, or...someone else.

"Typical Minerva...funny, though...she never mentioned her last name to me, I don't think...never knew she had one." He looked at Sirius out of the corner of his eye. "Why is it you remind me so much of a dog?"

agentgirl112
"We're supposed to be at a certain age before we can. That doesn't mean we don't do it at all." Sirius shrugged slightly. He hadn't gotten a chance yet -again, he'd just gotten there. But he could do it, if he really wanted to. It wouldn't be as easy as just using the Floo Powder, but it wasn't like he was going to ask someone for the use of their fireplace.

"I wouldn't have let you see it if I thought you'd actually fall for it." He smiled, and looked as innocent as possible. It wasn't easy.

Sirius blinked. "Most people have them, even if they don't talk about it. For instance. I don't really like my last name, and sometimes, I don't tell people about it unless they ask." He had to control himself to keep from laughing. "Well, I kind of am one. But only sometimes. It's complicated."

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
The fae half-smiled. "She doesn't seem to be older than you by much, if at all. But I suppose she has had more practice. I don't know if she'd have the knowledge to set up a trap like that with magic, though." He circled Sirius slowly. "And just in case you're wondering, I have no last name. Never did."

"You may come from the place where Minerva did, but you're nothing like her. You have secrets to hide; I can tell. And lying is obviously very easy for you. You're the type that likes to pull pranks as jokes, occasionally at the cost of friends, but usually enemies."

Puck grinned. "You and I should have a little competition sometime, Sirius. A magic challenge from a fae to a wizard. As a mirror I had quite a bit of fun with my own tricks, but in this limited child form I have hardly and magic to command at all, let alone my spells. But one day...when I remember my spells and you learn more...we can duel. What do you say?"

agentgirl112
Sirius nodded to him. "She's gotten more practice than me because she's been here longer. You, too, I suppose. But I'll get better in time." His eyes followed the fae until he had to turn his head. "I wasn't, but thanks for saying so." He smiled.

He was a little surprised, but not enough so that it showed. Usually it took a while for people to even learn that much about them, even with the use of magic. "Everyone has their secrets. I just have more skeletons in my closet than most people. Magic is a blessing and a curse, after all." And it was highly likely that the Black family had actual skeletons in their closets. One or two, at least.

"Sounds perfect, Puck. Just don't go crying to Minerva after we're through." He jested. With a grin, he kept the thought of a fight in the back of his mind. It made him grin just thinking about it. "It's a promise, then."

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
"In the hands of motals, I suppose...a curse?" Puck echoed curiously. "In what way? Isn't it only such if the magic-weilder wishes it?" At the mention of skeletons, he wondered if perhaps this Sirius Black had done worse deeds with his magic than just common playful pranks.

"Hmph..." the white-haired boy glowered, then turned his back on Sirius, ascending a little in the air. "Crying is a stupid habit reserved for human emotions. And I don't ever intend to let emotions control me...no matter what anyone says. I prefered my life without feelings. And Minerva doesn't need me anymore than I need her, so why should I go back?"

He glanced at Black out of the corner of his eye, then tiurned to face him, noting the confident grin on his face. "A promise," he repeated, nodding.

agentgirl112
"If it's not used properly, magic can make a bad situation worse." Even if problems happened by accident, they still happened. "Magic is kind of like power, I guess. It can corrupt." That wasn't true for everyone, though. Evil didn't just pop up. It was usually there in the first place. Magic just helped it grow.

Sirius dulled his smile a little. "A life without feelings is a life unlived, no matter how long it lasts. Minerva's your friend. She thinks so, at least. And I think you and I hurt her feelings a little, and even if you don't care about your own feelings, maybe you should apologize to her. I need to, too. But I don't know where she is." He shrugged. "Speaking of which, I'm sorry for before."

He was being too philosophical. He was creeping himself out. "Don't think I won't hold you to it." He said with another grin.

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
"If magic's not used properly...then it was the fault of the magician, not the magic," Puck pointed out. "And corruption is also the choice of the magician. It's amusing how you like to pretend it's forced upon you. Also...it depends on morals. If you have no morals, it can hardly be called 'corruption', now can it?" He was enjoying the arguement throughly.

However, the fae silenced at the wizard's words on emotion. Finally, he spoke, though he was mildly quieter and more serious than usual.

"I don't know what makes you say that, since somehow I doubt you have any idea what a life without feelings is like. You shouldn't speak of what is unknown to you, mortal," Puck said coldly, his gaze fixed on Sirius'. "And yet your words seem to have some truth. Minerva is indeed my friend; one of the few I've ever made. Perhaps I was wrong in acting the way I did and upsetting you all, but how was I to know she would be so..." he paused a moment, searching for the word. "...sensitive?"

He smirked. "I am intrigued by what you think your part in that misery was. What did you do wrong? As far as I know, it was me alone who she was angry with."

Puck floated to the ground, trying to get over his annoyance at being shorter than almost every other child in the Magic Kingdom. "A true trickster is never sorry. I'm surprised at you, Siruis Black. And yet...forgive me for before. It seems I didn't get a chance to properly meet you before jumping to conclusions..."

agentgirl112
"It never was the magic's fault for existing. I'm just saying that the people who were already not the nicest to begin with get much worse most of the time if they have magic or power. They get stronger, until people fear them and not many want to fight against them anymore. Strength isn't a bad thing, neither is magic. Magic is good for people with morals, like you said, but if the wrong person gets their hands on it, then... really bad things start to happen." Sirius nodded, finally done.

"You're right. I don't know what a life without feelings is like. I know what a life with feelings is like. That's good enough for me, even if it hurts me sometimes." He smiled to the fae. "You may have just surprised her in the way you acted. No one can be expected to be strong all the time. It's not human." He spoke the last word so that it could be taken two ways. One went to the fact that Minerva was mortal, and the second went to the fact that Puck was immortal.

"Even if it was just by being there, I helped get you a little angry." He grinned back. "So it's partly my fault."

"Trust me on this one. A lot of people come to the wrong conclusion when they meet me the first time." He laughed. It wasn't really one of the things he should have been laughing at, but he did just the same.

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
The fae listened, thinking, and at the same time, wondering if it was a good idea to listen at all. He knew he could never forget the words, and somehow...he feared if he understood too much from their perspective, he'd never be able to go back to the carefree life he had before. He'd be corrupted as an immortal; it would never be the same to live alone again.

But now that he thought of it...was that what he really wanted? To live alone? He doubted he would be able to, not after all that happened. Minerva had changed him, for better of for worse. His empty, forbidding memories of his past were filled by her, and all the others he had met in this world.

"You're surprisingly clever for a human of your age." This fact irked Puck tremendously, and even more so to admit it. But it had to be said. He sighed, feeling deflated. "Human...I'm starting to wonder what it's like to be human...and I'm getting worried about that curiosity. Scared, perhaps, that I want to know... But I don't want to tell her. Not Minerva."

He looked away uncertainly, silent for a moment, even as Sirius laughed a barking, dog-like laugh. "You're different too, though. Somehow." Puck looked up, suddenly returning to his old self; smirking and rising up from the ground once more. "I don't know what it is, but I'll find out. 'Til then, I suppose."

It was so starnge...something was changing. The land. It was the Magic Kingdom. No sleepy fog this time; the change was harsh and sudden. "What was that?" The buildings around them transformed into those of the japanese feutal era. "Oh no...not this..." Puck groaned. It seemed the world was colliding with another yet again.

agentgirl112
Sirius finished speaking quickly. Whether he liked it or not, he was stuck there. It wasn't like he missed the world he came from -he didn't even remember it. Surprisingly, he remembered magic. Not all of it, but most of the spells, anyway. It wasn't like he'd studied them. It wasn't going to be easy, but he'd actually have to learn all the spells he knew again. Though it'd feel like the first time to him. At least he remembered how to change.

....Right?

He'd have to try later on. "Thanks, I think." He wished he gotten that on tape. It would probably be one of the few times that Puck actually gave him a compliment. "It's a lot different than one might think." He'd never really thought about what it was like to be human, and how different it was to be immortal. The thought had just never occured to him. Of course, there were other magical creatures that had much longer life spans than most mortals. But none of them were immortal. Well, not most of them, anyway.

"So, has this happened before?" He said after a few moments. Considering they'd just been in a town, it seemed a little out of the ordinary for it to turn into something else. Especially when they were standing (for Puck, floating) in the same place they had been before. So there was no Port-key, as they hadn't touched anything they hadn't been touching before. And no Floo Powder, either. And it wasn't as though they'd both apparated.

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
"It was how I got here in the first place, I'm guessing. And there's bound to be more of us to come. Whenever other worlds merge with this one, the land changes, and sometimes it has side effects. There have been a few incidents where we ourselves get effected by the kingdom's transformation." He shuddered as he remembered the terrible, invincible formal dress clothes that Wonderland had forced upon them all. And then there was that blue furry creature...an X-men, he called himself. Who knew what horrors this new world would bring?

"I'd better find..." Puck hesitated, realizing what he had been about to say. Surely Minerva could take care of herself? Still...he wanted to be sure she was alright.

"I think I'll explore this place a little...see what's going on. If you'd like, you could come along," he added quickly, eager to be off. He doubed Sirius would care to join him, nut it might be nice to have a little company. This new world didn't look near as friendly as the last. The sky itself seemed to seethe with anger.

agentgirl112
"This is definitely going to make things more interesting, then." Different worlds could mean a lot of things. Having not experienced Wonderland himself, Sirius knew almost nothing about combining with another world. This included not being able to leave until it was over. Which could take a long while. They'd just have to keep going until everything changed back.

He almost asked Puck to continue, but decided against it for the moment. He'd stopped for a reason, so he wouldn't push it. Yet. He could always figure it out later.

"I'll come with you. I'm not missing a moment of this." He only had a certain amount of time to explore before things started happening, anyway. It could change back at any moment. "So, do you want to lead the way, or should I?" He seemed completely oblivious to the fact that this new place was ominous. His wand was still by his side, held loosely in his hand.

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
"You can be certain of that. But keep in mind - interesting isn't always pleasant. Very well, but be quick about it. We've no time to linger." Minerva could be in danger.

Puck raised a brow at the question. "Does it matter? The town is still the same in design, even if it changed in appearence. I know my way around well enough, and since you seemed to have just arrived, I think it would be best if you'd follow me."

agentgirl112
"I never said that's what I thought." Sirius grinned. "Well, let's get going. Standing never helped anyone." He was ready to find out what secrets this place held. And if needed, they could always make a map.

He stretched out. "It would be better that way, then. Start flying, and I'll be right behind you." He waited for Puck to start moving. Running after him probably wouldn't be as fast as a broom -but he still didn't have access to one. Without flight, he'd only be able to follow as long as Puck was over land.

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
Puck had a few remarks to say about Sirius's comment 'Standing never helped anyone,' but decided it was best to keep them to himself. Now was not the time to chat.

A hulking shape loomed in the distance as the fae ascended, taking in the changed landscape from a higher altitude. The thing made him very uneasy; it seemed the whole world was of its creation. No doubt it was the source of the matter. Still, he was not so eager, nor so stupid as to want to leap into the fire just yet.

As he turned in the opposite direction, he recognized the previous location of the Magic Kingdom castle. In its place now was an enormas mansion. It seemed that would be their best bet. Surely there would be others there. They must have seen the gargantuan creature on the horizon. Perhaps if there were enough of them, they would be able to form some kind of plan.

"Sirius," Puck said slowly, decending from his high altitude, "It doesn't look good up there. We need to get to the mansion - I mean, the castle. It's our only chance until we can find the others." He decided to leave out the part about the hulking shadow blocking out most of the sky.

agentgirl112
Sirius almost asked if Puck had seen anything, but realized that if it was important enough to know, he would probably see it himself. At the moment, he only had a view of the land around him. His gaze flew in all directions, but he could see nothing of extreme interest. There were things blocking his view, after all. And he still had no sense of where they were, exactly. In his current state, he would probably have gotten lost in Traverse Town while trying to escape one of the victims of his pranks.

After surveying the landscape, he looked up at Puck until the fae slowly came back toward the ground. Mansion...? He'd save the question for later, when they had time to spare. "Lead the way, then. I'll keep up, don't worry." Not that he would, anyway. But he mentioned it regardless.

Just when he was starting to get used to his new home, he got thrown into a different world.

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
After regarding the young wizard skeptically, he nodded, then proceeded toward the transformed castle. As difficult as it was to adapt to such changes, his surroundings a mix of familiar and unfamiliar, he found himself wondering what it was like inside the mansion; were the rooms the same? Were there more or less? Who was inside them?

"AHH!" Thinking distractedly, Puck was caught completely unaware as a sudden force crashed down on him and he dropped like a stone onto the dirt path. Had the ground been cobblestone, as it had before the world changed, the damage may have been much worse, but as it happened, he didn't suffer any major injury. The fae's only concern was what had knocked him down.

It had felt like a giant, invisible weight dropped from above. He found he could hardly sit up, let alone fly. The feel of cold metal and its painful aura tingled against his skin, causing a shiver to go down his spine. What had happened?

"Chain mail?!" He yelped, struggling to stand. "What fool would...?! How could this...?!" He could not seem to express his fury, but what had happened soon became apparent. Looking himself over, the long-haired boy found himself covered head to toe in heavy, restricting chain mail, along with other pieces of garment worn traditionally by medieval knights of he dark ages. Worst of all, every single link in the mail was cast of iron, and he could feel them all sapping his energy where he sat. The touch of the man-made metal hurt him, as it did all fae, but not so much that he could not bear it.

Grinding his teeth, he finally managed to get to his feet and continue a few steps forward. It was no use to try and remove the garments...he guessed they had been forced upon them by this world, as Wonderland had forced him and Minevra into wearing what seemed to be invincible formal attire. For all his attempts, not he nor the little witch had managed to do so much as tear the cloth, and he had little hope the chain mail he wore now would be much less durable. He didn't dare try, for he resolved to touch the iorn links as infrequently as possible. He would need to conserve his energy.

A heavy sword hung in a sheath at his belt, while an armored helmet obscured most of his vision. Its iron made him feel light-headed, and before he knew what he was doing, he grabbed it and threw it off. Puck sighed in relief; had the helmet remained immobile, he felt sure the iron would have begun to effect his mind. Other than its burdening weight and obnoxiously large size, the sword, while sheathed, posed no threat. He would have to drag it along. As much as he disliked human weapons, as primitive and tactless as they were, they seemed to be his only defence at the moment. There was no chance his magic could be of any use with iorn in such close proximity.

"Cursed world...why couldn't it have been something else?! Chain mail...ha...some stupid joke..." Mumbling irritably to himself, Puck struggled to continue as though nothing had happened; as though he were not growing weaker with each step. He didn't want Sirius to know his weakness to iron. However, the awkward weight and size of his new outfit seemed only to worsen matters.

agentgirl112
Sirius barely had time to move out of the way as Puck came crashing to the ground. He definitely wasn't wearing chainmail before... Where had it even come from? He looked up to make sure that nothing was falling from the sky. When he saw that there was nothing there that could suddenly fall, his gaze shifted back to Puck. "Having some problems down there?" He asked the fae. Before he knew it, the other was moving again. With a shrug, he continued walking. That is, before he looked down at his hand.

Blink blink. He looked again, to make sure he wasn't imagining things. I don't wear gloves... Not a good sign. He almost didn't want to look again. But he did out of curiosity. His robes were gone, and in their place he had what at first looked like normal clothes. But after a second glance, there were definitely other items he hadn't seen the first time.

Now, he had on a long sleeved shirt. It wasn't black like his robes, but orange. Shots of dark red passed through the design. They left behind what seemed to be scratches. But that was just what he could see on his sleeves. Covering the front of the shirt was a metal plate that was attached to an identical one on his back, other the fact that the one on the front had a black dog emblem on it. It almost made him laugh. Irony sucked sometimes. Also attached to the plate were two pieces of metal formed to cover his shoulders.

Black pants covered his bottom half. And on top of those, he had even more metal covering his knees. Instead of his usual footwear, there were boots. The only thing that was as it should have been was the fact that he still had his wand. He looked it over to make sure nothing had happened to it. There was something that told him the chest plate wouldn't do much good against magic, so he decided not to try it out.

He had a lot less metal on him than Puck. It wasn't nearly as heavy, and he'd barely noticed it at first. It also helped that he didn't have problems when he came in contact with it. This definitely wasn't what he would have chosen to wear had he had the choice, though. His robes were more comfortable. And a lot less itchy. Now he was starting to figure out why the world changes were not a good thing. This could get very annoying if he had to keep it on for the rest of his time there. He kicked out one of his legs to see how hard it would be to move. Not that bad, considering what it could be. The heaviest thing was probably the huge thing going all the way across his chest. But he didn't really have to move that.

If needed, he could always try and cheat the world if he wanted. He only hoped that it would still work here. It wouldn't be good at all if he couldn't change into the dog when he needed to. Should he try, or not? His mind debated it for a while. He wasn't about to ask Puck. He began trudging forward, still oblivious to the fact that something was wrong with his companion. "This place must really be out to get us." It was changing everything around them, little by little. He wanted to ask what could happen if they stayed there too long, but didn't want to know the answer. They'd find out soon enough.

Tymiko the Pirate Girl
"I'm fine," Puck replied without turning around. "Us...?" He paused and turned around. A little smirk played around the corners of his mouth.

"Nice outfit. What's with the dog?" He inquired, raising a brow, his pale blue eyes glittering with amusement. "Perhaps this place has a conciousness of its own after all... Keep that 'magic' stick of yours out. We don't know what might be waiting behind those doors..." The boy nodded toward the mansion's entrance, and resumed at a slower pace. If they could just manage to get inside...

agentgirl112
"Looks like this place had the same idea you did." He pulled down on the bottom of his shirt so that he could get a better look at the chestplate. There was a dog there... Someone had a sense of humor. "I'll make sure it's ready to send someone flying." It wasn't as though he could send them that far, even if he had to. Was the door locked? He pulled on the handle, and it was. "Want to look around first, or should I open it?"
