The Nameless One
You open your eyes slowly and the world around you is pitch black, and for all you know, this is how the world should be. Some part of you decides to make you breath, and you do so, and this feels like the first time. Smells assault your nostrils, if you knew what they were and the words to describe them, you would. Later you recall the smell of a dark dank, confined, stale air and the assortment of plant like odors. A light like a beam, finds the top of your head and then spreads out around you. Your poor eyes adjust to the first bright thing to exist in your world. Then a noise fills the air, like it came from everywhere, like multiple noises at once.

"I know what you are thinking... that is... if you were capable of such complexities. For now, you do not understand even what I am saying to you, but you will. You do not understand learning, love, life.. or fear.... most importanly fear."

You stare blankly into the dark, because there's nothing to focus on, the noise is just everywhere. Then another light appears, two, as you learn later. Green shining lights aimed at you and draw ever closer. You don't move, or run, they just seem.... pretty and capture your focus. Then something reaches out of the darkness and into the light towards you. It looks like those things hanging off your sides, but bigger, and black. A hand, you'll look back and remember that hand. The noise comes in front of you this time, by the lights as the hand touches you.

" I give you this gift, to use well. I will give you a great power that you must respect. Along with it comes the laws, you will know them as will the others you meet. You should hold this true to the very core of your being...Abuse this gift, or the laws, and I shall erase your existance like a page torn from a book."

And suddenly your eyes widen as a flood of images, knowledge and feelings assault your mind, you feel as if your head would explode. And this is where things begin to make sense. The words, for most of them, you understand. Words and speach, you see what it is the voice was doing. When you think you could die if it continued further, it stops, and you now reaslise what it means to be dead and the building fear now that comes with it. Catching your breath and feeling dizzy, you look to the lights once more, and realise they are someone's eyes, and they belong to the one that changed you. Sweat begins to drip down your face and soon a door opens behind you. Turning around, you notice a human shaped construct, yes, a word and thing you are familiar with now.

" First...take this one to Sparks, and have him get them a room "

You notice the light from the door way barely enters the room, in fact, it seems the darkness is fighting it back. The construct walks to you with a silent step and then slowly takes it's hand in yours, it's touch is stone cold. The light above you disappears as you leave it, and as much as the construct seems unatural to be around, the room and the eyes feel so much worse. The voice spouts one more thing as you decend the spiral stairs and the door begins to close.

" Happy birthday... and welcome to Toxicity"

Birthday...? The thought lingered as the being stopped on a step, hesitant to go down. "Hap py... birf day..." He mouthed the words silently before recalling another. "Sparksss... Room?..." He rememberd something about getting a room. For himself? A few steps down and he paused again. The throbbing of his head taking precidence over the slight pain of newly made muscles. Was he newly made, or just awoken? He blinked, looking down at scaled arms. Those arms... His mind pictured the dark arms that had reached for him. "Arrrrrrmmmmmmssss..." He rolled his R's around on his tounge before it came out and taisted the air. The dusky odours came back to him then and the rosen had to pause once more as new images, new information flooded his mind acompanied with another wave of pain. This time it seemed less, a little more bareable. He closed his eyes for a moment and consentraited on breathing. He could feel his heart beating, the slight breeze upon his scales. Then he started walking again, moving down the stairs gradually until he found a door that called to him. Must be room He pushed open the door and wandered inside. Gaze immidiatly falling onto the large bed in the corner he smiled slightly and curled up for some more sleep.

Voices... There were voices somewhere in this room. This was a good discovery as, so far, the dragon had not managed to find any other soul, with exception to the constructs but he wasn't quite sure if they counted. Ora made his way carefully throught the partially open door to find himself surrounded by books. They didn't strike his interest too much, not very good to eat and he didn't have enough attention to sit and read for long periods, prefering to just sleep. He made his way around the book shelves looking for the origen of the voices, managing to get lost in the process. Sticking out his tounge he caught a whif of others which he oriented on and slowly wandered towards the chatting pair.

Taro Rae
Krait smiled shyly and nodded while the girl talked. When she asked about a book, Krait nearly leapt to the shelves, so quickly did he dart forward. He scoured the shelves, reading as quickly as he could. And then, spying what he wanted, he pulled a relatively small red cloth-bound book with white lettering from the shelf and passed it to her.
"Thisth one isth called Justht Stho Sthtories, by Rudyard Kipling. Thisth isth the book I have at home. I am reading through it. I really like it stho far." Krait spoke, more quickly than his usual wont due to his excitement, but still as softly as ever.

Sago Dogann
Keshi tiptoed on the cold floor as quietly as she could. The only thing to be heard was the wooden shoes clacking together. As she tiptoed along she noticed the childrens section. She started to peek at the books and found Tin Tin. She opened it up and it had lots of pictures. "Ohh" she cooed as she fliped through the book. "It was't a big book but it's a start" she wispered under her breath remembering the rule about being quiet.

She then heard the voices and wondered who was being so loud...or was she just being to quiet. She tiptoes through the many walls of books. When she was close she slowed down and peeked around the corner.

She saw the both of them talking with their backs to her. She did not want to bother them but she was curious about what they where talking about. So she quietly listened and peeked. She thought to her self ~I hope they don't get mad at me for listening to them.~

Sayuri_Nitta
Pterois stifled a giggle at Krait's eager dash to the shelves to choose something for her. She tilted her head, listening, sure she had heard the approaching noisy clack of someone approaching, but then the noise stopped and no one came up to either her or Krait so she merely shrugged.
'Just So Stories huh?' she took the book from him, flipping it and reading the blurb.
'Well I'll give it a try, see what it's like.' she smiled at him.
'Thank you Krait.'
Her head spines rose a little, as she felt like they were being watched again.
'Do you hear..?' she asked Krait, wondering if she was just being paranoid.

Taro Rae
Krait smiled happily when she took the book. "I hope you will like it" He said to her, nodding softly. He watched the spines on her head lift and watched her with unabashed interest. He listened carefully at her prompt, and his little tongue began to flicker out in uncertain darts, tasting the air trying to pick up some sort of scent...
Ah! There...the faintest trace of poppyseed... Krait turned to look over his shoulder and caught sight of a pair of dark tilted eyes peering at him from around the corner of a bookshelf. He froze and stared back at her.

Sago Dogann
Keshi noticed the boy start to turn around. "His tongue is blue" she thought to herself and then she was looking into his eyes. Keshi's eye grew as wide a saucers. She could feel her cheeks grow warm with colour and embarrassment.

Keshi steped out from the bookshelves. " Umm..ahh sorry for peeking um mm on you both." Her shoes clacked together as she gave a very deep bow. "I was just umm curious." She said as she twisted and turned her bare feet on the cold floor in shyness. She felt so awkward and embarrassed she could feel the tears welling up in her eyes. With a quiver in her lips and another bow she blurts out "Are you mad at me for peeking at you?"

Taro Rae
Krait shook his soft hair gently. "I'm not mad... Why are you hiding?" Krait whispered softly. Krait drew nearer to Pterois unconsciously, and his tail snaked out and wrapped itself around one of her legs. Krait's cheeks exploded with a deep blush as he slapped at his own tail, and eventually got it to let go and stop clinging to the Lionfish girl's leg. Embarrased, Krait gummed an appology, and for the moment completely forgot that the little newcomer had seen the entire exchange.

Sago Dogann
" I could hear your voices and when I followed them and saw you two having fun...Umm I didn't want bother you two." Keshi said. She looked quickly at her feet when she noticed the boy's tail touch the girl's leg. "Umm my name is Keshi."she said and she bowed deeply again and started to quietly giggle. As soon as she realised she was giggling she quickly covered her mouth and slowly peeked up through her hair that had fallen over eyes.

Sayuri_Nitta
Pterois raised an eyebrow as the watcher revealed herself.
'Not mad,' she said, trying not to jump as something coiled around her leg. She glanced down, noticing that Krait had shuffled closer and gripped onto her with his tail. A moment later he had released her leg again.
'It's just a bit rude to eavesdrop is all.'
She nodded as the girl gave her name.
'I'm Pterois.'

The Poison Arrow
Kyler had been to this place once when it was in the middle of building, The Dark One had told him the building was going to be a Library, a place to learn things and read books. Kyler had nabbed a cookie from Nanny that had just been baked when its back was turned and was nibbling up what was left of it as he peered in the window.

Kyler was on the wall outside, making full use of his extra limbs and peeking inside. He spied a few figures, lost amongst the books, but they were hard to make out at the distance and cover. Kyler decided to check out the books and grab something to read, and maybe see who the others were and with that, slid inside the open window.

Amirynth
Ora sat quiet as he listen to the others. A lighter voice had joined the pair, she had a bit of an accent? or maybe that was just his imagination. The dragon heard steps close by and grabbed at a random book to at least pretend he was meant to be there. The book had a lot of numbers and words in it but the pictures confused him, they were all lines but didn't seem to form anything recognisable. Turning the book onto it's spine Ora tilted his head to read the dark lettering. "L-ek-trrr-o-ni-ks Sssii-m-p-li-f-ied" He wasn't quite sure what 'lektroniks' were so he mused on replacing that book with something he could read. Reaching up to place the heavy book back in it's place, the tome fell through his fingers and landed with a loud thud near his foot. Wisking his long toes into safety the komodo almost lost his balance, catching himself with his long tail before that caused a few more books to join their mate on the floor with equal exuberance.

Taro Rae
"I'm Krait..." Krait whispered shyly, his face still down-turned and flushed pink. A moment later he leapt another foot in the air at the sound of a heavy thump followed by several more noises like small explosions. So the noises seemed to Krait, not being able to see that the source of the sounds was that of heavy books falling flatly on the hard floor. He cowered and clung to Pterois, this time too frightened to realize what he was doing. His tail coiled firmly around her waist and his arms flew about her neck quick as lightning as he burried his face into her shoulder in fear. After the silence returned, Krait remained quivering and clinging to his aquatic friend waiting for some signal that it was safe.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Oliva peeks into the building, rather shyly. Silently, she slips into it, hearing voices.

Sort of excited, she grins, and grabs her long tail to hug to her chest. Her odd ponytail bounces as she hops from foot to foot in her black, zip-up boots. She lets go of her tail, and shoves her hands in the pockets of her indigo jeans.

Chewing on her lower lip, she peeks between one of the isles between the shelves of books, only one of her pink eyes visible, as her other is covered with her bangs. Is she going to meet any new friends?

She notices some people in a larger group, including Krait. But, he seems to be giving some other person a strange hug. She decides it is best not to interrupt.

Two others, off by themselves, catch her eye, and she slowly inches toward them. Especially when she notices one of them is way taller than her! Her visible eye can be seen glancing around as she looks at everything around her.

The Poison Arrow
Kyler creeped along the book shelves and put his hands into his black long pants. With the buckles he had on them, he chinked a little with every step. Peering over tops of books, he smiled seeing Pterois and some others and played with his hair.

He decided to look around a bit and blinked at the thump on the ground. Peering his head around a corner he grinned, seeing a guy with a really cool hat, it made him snicker.

Amirynth
Ouch! Loud! Ora cringed, he didn't like loud noises and in the quiet of the huge room the noise seemed to echo and become even louder. Glancing around on either side his tounge flickered out between his lips as he searched for anyone who might have seen him. Glancing down at the pile of books around his feet he wondered if he should just get out of there or actually pick up all those books. His tail waved from side to side as his mind swung like a pendulumn. Suddenly he saw another face in the ailse he was in and flight almost won over before he tripped backwards over one of the books and landed on his tail. More ouch!

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Olivia ignores the tall one, for now (except to give an absent wave), and hurries toward the one on the floor with all the books around him. He has a tail, too! They have to much in common already!

"Olivia help?" she asks, in a quiet voice, hugging her tail close to her chest, beaming at the boy with the strange black thing on his head. She blinks her pink eye once, and decides to kneel down. "Olivia help get you back on your feetssss and pick the bookssss up, if you want?"

The Poison Arrow
Kyler blinks as the little pink girl came out of no where, wow, she was reaaaally pink. Kyler hadn't seen much of the colour before, it looked really good. Kyler made his way over towards the two tailed people, the pink one and the one with the hat and grinned as he scooped up the hat boy with his arms and back legs.

" Uuuup you go"

Kyler smiled and gave a quick pat down, he couldn't help but to joke.

" You have to be careful around these books, they jump at you when you least expect it"

Amirynth
Pretty pink lizard girl was all he registered until something inside gave him a mental snap and he nodded lightly. "Help please," Bending down to grasp at the books he began to stack them a little unevenly along the shelves. Ora was busy and didn't pay too much attention to the other while the 'pretty pink lizard' was helping out but, standing up to say thank you, he paused dumbstruck as he became slightly tounge tied. "Umm... thanks..." He blushed slightly and turned to the other who had given him help. "Name is Ora..."

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Olivia warily backs away from the bookshelf at the tall one's words, eyeing the books. It only causes her to bump into another one, and let out a 'Meep!' and cover her head as she bends her knees, sitting back on her heels.

"Bookssss jump out at ussss?" she asks, peeking from behind her bangs to stare at the books. But, the fascinating event of the tall one picking Ora up catches her attention rather quickly. She wants to be lifted into the air!

When it is obvious that the books are not going to attack her, Olivia rises again, still eyeing them warily, and gives a beaming grin to Ora. "I Olivia, or Livvy, or Liv. Or, whatever Ora want to call Olivia," she says, nodding. She reaches out with her tail to poke at Ora. "Why you got dark?" she asks, looking over at the tall one. She brushes her pink hair out of her face with a pink hand, only to have it fall back over her eye again. "Who you?" she asks the red and black one, tilting her head to the side, sending the ribbon in her long hair bouncing.

The Poison Arrow
Kyler chuckled at Olivia as she hid from the books, he didn't think that he was going to be taken that seriously. He got the suddenly feeling, he wasn't sure where, that Olivia was wanting to be lifted for some odd reason. He shook it off as he was asked of his identity. Kyler smiled and folded his arms across his chest.

" My name's Kyler, and don't worry, the books don't reaaaally do that, I was umm joking"

He smiled and brushed his hair with his hand and offer to both Ora and Olivia a spidery leg each in greeting.

Amirynth
Ora took the leg absent mindedly until he realized it was a leg. Letting go sunndely with a slight frown before shurgging it off... the leg didn't seem to want to bite him. "Hello Kyler... hello Olivia..." He was a little at a loss with what to say next. He settled on what was easiest. "Thanks for help!" Smiling slightly he re-grasped at one of the spidery legs and pointed/tugged in the general direction of where the two others had been. "Two more, have not said Hello yet." Looking back at Olivia he paused for a moment as 'pretty pink lizard' floated across his brain some more before shaking his head slightly and taking her hand. "Maybe say Hello?"

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Olivia takes Kyler's black leg in her hand, and doesn't quite let go. She leans closer, to inspect it, forgetting Ora for a moment, and Kyler for that matter. "Sssshiney, and pretty," she says, almost to herself.

She abruptly lets go of Kyler's leg, and shakes her head a little. "Bookssss ssssafe then?" she asks, with a little hiss, turning her one, wide pink eye to look up at Kyler.

Her easily distracted personality turns toward Ora at his words, and she smiles. "Olivia no help. Ora had bookssss finisssshed before Olivia could!" she says, beaming again, and bouncing on her feet a few times. She then glances around. "Olivia knowssss pale boy. He called Krait. Very ssssweet. We go ssssay hello," she nods, emphatically. She hurries forward and peeks at the other two. She lets out an enthusiastic wave in greeting to Krait and the other person who is with him.

The Poison Arrow
Kyler looks down at Olivia and in a somewhat amused and embaressed way, smiles at her rather curious way she held his leg. He nodded to Olivia's question and poked on of the books to proove they were sleeping.

" See, all not moving"

Kyler looked over at the pair that Ora pointed out, and grinned, there was three actually, just that there was one tightly wrapped around Pterois.

" Let's go say hello hey?, maybe we can see what they are like"

Kyler grinned and grabbed Olivia up in his spidery legs, figuring she'd enjoy the short lift over as he walked over to the other group.

In the library *continued...*

Taro Rae
Krait stood with his face burried in Pterois' shoulder when a soft voice caught his ear. He darted, and the rudder of his tail flicked curiously. Krait knew that voice...
Cautiously, and oh so slowly, Krait turned his head to look, and peeked out through his pale hair with one blue-on-black eye.
Sure enough, the little girl waving excitedly to him was none other than Olivia. Krait suddenly became painfully aware of the fact that he was clinging to Pterois, and moreover to the fact that she was a girl. Krait stammered his appologies, looking around with wild-eyed darts, flush in the cheeks and trying to stemmie his embarrasment. "Sth-sth-sthorry....." Krait managed and shuffled away, pulling at his tail with an effort to make it let go. He shuffled back a step and then another, and stood half-way between the pale girl who smelled of poppyseeds, and his new friend from the Lake. As Krait looked about himself he realized he stood at the center of a triangle of three girls, Pterois, Keshi and Olivia. Krait blinked shyly from one to the next and his hands began to fidget something awful with the straps on his armlets.
What to do? What to say? What to do??
Flustered, embarrased and cornered, Krait said nothing.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
"That becausssse Kyler here, and Kyler protect the littler people from the mean bookssss," Olivia says, nodding in all seriousness. Those horrible books! She would have to watch out for them. They had already attacked her new fri-

She doens't finish her train of thought. For, just then, she is wisked into the air. A delighted squeal comes from Olivia, followed by giggles. She holds her arms out, while her tail reaches back for something to keep her balance with. She realizes that, from this height, it would be pretty easy to be dropped or fall. Then, the books could get her! Oh noes!

"Yessss, we will ssssee if they are nice," she says, through her happy giggles. "Krait! Look! Olivia issss . . . flying!" she calls, grinning over at her friend, and kicking her feet ever so slightly. She has occasion to realize that Krait is darker, too. She wonders what is wrong with all of these people! Oh no! What if it will catch on? What if she will get darker!

The Poison Arrow
Kyler was so amused by the pink girl, she seemed to be happy at the simpliest of things. And just the giggle and the happy smile from him just holding her up, well he thought she was just so cute.

Kyler used his legs to hold Olivia out flat and he turned around in a circle so it looked as if she was flying in a circle around him.

"It's the flying pink Olivia! wooosh!"

He grinned and finally put her upright and onto her feet in front of him as he gave a smile to Pterois and looked to the other two he hadn't met. He liked being bigger, it felt really good. He wondered if Pterois reconised him still.

" Hi there other library lurkers"

Sago Dogann
Keshi heard the noise comming from behind her and jumped. She tried to spin around and look at what her new friends where looking at. All she did was catch her bare feet in her komono and fall on her bottom, with her going this way and that. "Ouch" She grumbled. She sat there and noticed the others walking toward her. "mmm Hi" she giggled as she put one hand over her mouth and the other to wave hello.
She soon realised she was still on the floor and she was getting cold. She started to get up but her Kimono was twisted up and all she ended up doing is falling back down to her back. Keshi looked up at Krait and Pterois
and wimpered "Help pleeese I think I'm stuck."

Taro Rae
Krait watched as the poppyseed-scented girl tripped over the long sleeve of her garment and fell into a tangled heap, he shoes clattering over the floor. He started forward, unsurely and scooped up the wooden geta that had landed at his feet. When he saw that she still couldn't rise from the folds of her dress he wasn't sure what to do.
Out of the corner of his eye he saw a flash of movement, and looking towards it startled, saw that his own tail was reaching forward, offering to pull the girl to her feet, offered like an outstretched hand.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Olivia is, at first, having way too much fun being spun around, her long hair flying everywhere as she giggles, to notice that the poor girl has fallen.

When she is set down, however, she sways, and almost falls as well, until her tail reachs back and does its best to steady her. "Thankssss, Kyler!" Olivia says, and leans forward to give him a huge hug.

She soon notices that Krait did not reply to her, and turns to see what the problem is. She blinks, and points, "Did the bookssss get her, too?" she asks, shaking her head sadly. "Sssso many friendssss falling today," she sighs, a little, equally sad sound.

The Poison Arrow
Kyler blinked and laughed a little as he got a hug from Olivia. He liked her, she was fun and friendly. He might come see her sometimes to take her flying. Giving her a hug back he looked over at the blue and whit boy who looked rather scared or at least shy. Kyler gave him a little wave as his red eyes followed his tail.

Kyler looked down at noticed the poor girl having trouble with her clothes, Kyler figured that he'd lifted someone already, he could help again and walked over to help the nice smelling girl up off the ground with the help of the blue and white boy.

Amirynth
Ora laughed as Olivia was pulled off the ground. This Kyler person was nice. Watching the other three interact he stayed quiet as the stripy one unwrapped himself from around the fishy smelling one. The waft of poppyseeds came with the next sniff as hie tounge darted out once again and his gaze settled on another rosin who had seemed to fallen on the floor. He listened as Olivia spoke, her explenation making sense. Books were troublesom unless you knew how to deal with them. Maybe he would have Kyler find a good, safe book for him. Staying in the back, just behind the spider teen he shuffled his feet slightly. Now he was amongst the others he felt rather big, the dragon was tall and gangly which, when it was just Oliva and Kyler, wasn't noticed as much (kyler was still taller than him). Standing with a lot more rosen milling about he realized he was a lot taller then them.

Sago Dogann
Keshi noticed the new boy Krait and another boy offer to help her up. She sheepishly reached her hand out to the boy and Krait's tail and pulled herself up. "Thanks" she said covering her mouth and blushing yet again. As if by habbit she turned to Krait and bowed and turned to the new boy and bowed again. "My name is Keshi." she said. She looked up at him."wow your tall. Ohh my geta where did I drop them." She suddenly spun around and started looking everywhere but at the cute boys nearby.

Taro Rae
Krait awkwardly held out the shoe he had picked up. "Isth thisth what you were looking for?" He asked softly. He glanced sidelong at Kyler, amazed by his spidery limbs arched along his back. In turn Krait peered at the other new comers. A little spring of hope welled up in Krait. Could...they possibly...be new friends? He hoped so with all of his tiny heart.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Olivia looks around, easily distracted. Too much is going on right now for her to be able to keep up.

When she heard the pretty girl with the really pretty outfit on say her name, she looks at her with dark pink eyes (even if only one is visible), and grins. Even though she doesn't really think she is talking to her, she waves enthusiastically at her. "Hello, Kesssshi! You very pretty," she says, nodding with a big grin on her face. "Olivia like Kesssshi'ssss clothessss. Me Olivia, or Liv, or Livvy. Kesssshi can call Liv anything," she says, nodding once more.

She turns, and sees her new friend hanging back a little. She waves him forward, wondering why he would be standing away like that. How can you make friends if you don't come over and talk?!

She rocks on her feet, her hair and the ribbon in it swaying as she hugs her long, pink tail to her chest, the tip of it running over her red beaded choker that she is never without. She takes it upon herself to tell Keshi names, and gestures to Kyler, "The tall one issss Kyler. And, the one over there, being ssssilly, is Ora. They nice!" She peers over at the pretty orance girl, wanting her to speak now.

Without giving her a choice, she waves just as enthusiastically to her as she did to Keshi. "Hi! Who you?" she asks, tilting her head to the side.

Sayuri_Nitta
Pterois jumped as well when the large bang sounded but not half as much as Krait did. She stood stock still when he attached himself to her, trying not to laugh at his reaction and just sort of awkwardly patted him. When the echoes had died away, she realised she could hear more voices; more Rosin? she wondered and then looked up as a pink hued girl approached them.
'That's okay,' she whispered to Krait when he had let go of her again. She looked up as yet another two people came over and smiled broadly at Kyler, big as when she'd first seen him after his growing and looking just as cool, and look curiously at the other boy who seemed to have been the source of the previous loud noise. When they approached Keshi seemed to take such a fright that she fell to the floor. She was about to help when Krait beat her to it, falling over himself in the process. Once they were both on their feet again, mostly thanks to Kyler's help, she wondered if she would be able to edge a word in to Kyler, but then the pink girl with a similar speech impediment to Krait addressed her.
'Oh hello,' she said.
'I'm Pterois. Olivia isnt it?' having caught the girls name when she addressed Keshi.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Olivia's one, visible eye widens, and her mouth hangs open for a moment as she stares at Pterois. "You're ssssso ssssmart. . . ." she says, breathlessly, and in such a reverent way, it just can't be seen as sarcastic or offensive. "Can Pteroissss read Livvy'ssss mind?" she continues, obviously oblivious to the fact that she speaks in the third person. It is pretty much safe to bet that she doesn't even know what the third person is.

She seems to snap out of it, as she tends to, and starts to rock on her feet again, holding her tail close to her chest, and smiling once more. "Olivia happy to meet Pteroisssss," she says, her smile widening.

Sayuri_Nitta
Pterois blinked a little, then laughed at the question.
'Uhh no, I heard you give your name to Keshi just a moment ago.' she smiled at Olivia.
'It's nice to meet you as well. So many Rosin here,' she commented, glancing around.
'It was virtually empty when I arrived. Just me and Krait.'

The Poison Arrow
Kyler smiled as he watched the goings on around the small group, Olivia was almost giving him giggle fits. He stepped to the side to give people som space and offered Keshi and Krait a spider limb to shake.

" Kyler, glad to meet ya"

Sago Dogann
"Wow there are so many here. Hello everyone." Keshi says quietly as she shakes one of Kyler's spider limbs. She quickly turns to Krait and takes her geta back. "Thank you so much for finding them." she says with a big smile. Keshi quickly covers her mouth ,looks down shyly and giggles. "It's so nice to meet so many. I've been so lonely."

Amirynth
Shuffeling from foot to foot for a moment Ora gathered up enough courage to say 'Hello' He heard Olivia as she spoke about him to the others and stuck out his tounge slightly at her. He wasn't silly Suddenly he peeked around Kyler and took a few steps forward. "Name is Ora!" He looked around as if he had said something profound and deep. The two new rosen seemed nice enough. He was especially interested in Krait, being a raptile like him and Olivia.

Taro Rae
Krait blinked at each of the Rosin in the room. His small eyebrows puckered in consternation. He could not make their images stay clear. Krait blinked, closed his eyes and then fluttered them open. The blurring of the images he saw seemed to get worse. They began to swim before his eyes, the edges of his vision growing dim. "I don't feel stho well...." Krait whispered, his voice faint and fading. His arms hung limply by his sides and his fingers trembled. An itchy sensation was spreading all over his skin. He felt as if he were crumbling into dust, as if his skin was curlng away from his bones, as if his mind was being crushed beneath a great weight, as if...
And then Krait swayed on his feet and fell in a heap on the library floor. In his last moments of consciousness, Krait was sure he could hear the sound of water washing over him and a deep encompassing blackness.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Olivia was listening, she really was. And, she was on the point of actually replying to everyone.

That is, until the very first Rosin she met fell to the floor in a heap. Her eyes widen, and her jaw drops. "Krait!" she says, shaking her head a moment, as if that will be enough to make him stand up again.

She hurries to him, and kneels down beside him. She reaches forward to put a hand on his shoulder, and asks, in a softer voice, "Krait alright?"

Sparks Metalgrinder
It was not long after Krait collapsed that the door's to the library swung open, and stading there were two tall constructs, bothe with a red cross on their chests. They slowly made their way towards the small group, thumping with every step of their thick feet. On carried with it a small piece of paper, the other two wooden poles with some material attached. When they reached the fallen Rosin, both lifeless faces looked down and the rolled out a stretcher beside Krait. The one with the paper turned and looked at Kyler, placing the paper in his hands before helping the other construct lift Krait's unconcious form onto the stretcher. Without a word and with creaks and grinds they lifted him up and started carrying him out.

The Poison Arrow
Kyler was in shock at what happened, the what appeared to be a shy boy just collapsed onto the floor. Kyler had no idea what to do or what had happened. He was just about to move beside Olivia when the doors opened. Constructs, he'd been familiar with them for a while and they always were around for some good reason. He breathed slowly as he realised they were helping Krait, but was surprised when he was handed folded paper.

He waited until the constructs left, wondering if The Dark One was going to look after the boy, before he unfolded the the paper and found a note inside. The beggining part requested he read the note out allowed, so that others might hear. Kyler cleared his throat and began to read out loud.

" My young citizens of Toxicity, you, at this point in time may be concerned for the young boy who has just been carried out the door, you should not. As you can see by the elder boy now reading this note, You are eventually bound for change, and it seems that it is now Krait's turn..."

Kyler blinked and looked up at the now closed doors, took a breath and looked back to the note.

" Normally such changes happen at a time when you are resting in your beds, Krait how ever seems to be in a hurry. Your friend is in no danger and will be fine, expect to see him in a day or so, with some slight alterations to his appearance."

Kyler checked the back of the note, then the front, and realised it wasn't signed. Folding it back up, he looked to the rest of the group.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Olivia's eyes grow wider, if possible, as she listens to Kyler.

"Krait ok, then?" she asks, looking worried as she goes to Kyler, and tugs on his shirt sleeve. "He jusssst get taller, like Kyler?"

She sighs, looking around blankly after that.

Sago Dogann
As Krait passed out Keshi gave out a small "Eeeep." After the constructs had taken him away she listened to Kyler read the note. With tear filled eyes she turned to Kyler "Krait going to be ok right?". Keshi quickly slips her geta on her feet. Overwhelmed with emotion and tears starting to run down her face she quickly says" I need to go to my room." With that she turn and runs away from the group and out of the library with her shoes click clacking on the stone floor.

The Poison Arrow
Kyler blinked and looked at everyones faces, even if they didn't know Krait the all still looked worried for him. Kyler patted the top of Olivia's head and tried to give her a reassuring smile.

" He's just growing Olivia, no need to be worried"

He looked up and felt bad for Keshi that just ran out the door in tears. He bit his loweing lip with a fang andhugged Olivia. He would have ran after her, but he felt the group was looking at him for direction.

Amirynth
Ora was shocked... he didn't know he could cause something like that to happen just by saying 'hello' As the lizard rosen fell to the floor the komodo took a step back. "No do it..." he shook his head slightly before looking up at Kyler. The boy didn't seemed too alarmed and he acted carmly as the constructs came and took Krait away.

"My young citizens of Toxicity, you, at this point in time may be concerned for the young boy who has just been carried out the door, you should not. As you can see by the elder boy now reading this note, You are eventually bound for change, and it seems that it is now Krait's turn. Normally such changes happen at a time when you are resting in your beds, Krait how ever seems to be in a hurry. Your friend is in no danger and will be fine, expect to see him in a day or so, with some slight alterations to his appearance."

This would happen to them too? Ora looked around at the small gathering. Even him? He wasn't quite sure he wanted to get sick and fall down on the floor, even if it ment getting bigger. The dragon noticed Keshi leave in a hurry and he could taste a slight waft of fear mixed in with her poppy-smell. Ora shuddered slightly before looking back up at Kyler. He didn't look too bad... maybe it wasn't so bad to fall down after all... You can always get back up after falling down, maybe that is what the letter meant. Just in case it was catching he grasped hold of one of the spiderlegs in front of him and held on tight.

The Poison Arrow
Kyler felt the twinge of responsibility, like he had to take care of the younger ones than himself. He wrapped a spiderylimb around Olivia and Ora and looked to the others in the library. Krait had given them all a shock and they needed to not worry anymore. He shuffled towards the door, trying to guide the others to follow with him on his way out.

" Come on guys, how bout we head to the developement house and get a snack and a drink?"

When Ora returns, he will find on top of his bed a box, wrapped in green paper and tied with a brown bow. Upon openning it, he will find inside a large round see through bowl, much like a fish tank. Inside the bowl is a small house, a pile of sand, a small container of food and a pond like pool of very small proportions. Sitting there looking up at him is a small turtle.

User Image

The turtle can be named anything you want, for it doesn't matter to him, but do not underestimate this turtle, for he does many odd things.

~ Every morning when the sun comes up the turtle will be out on the sand practicing tai chi
~ You will often see the turtle sitting on a deckchair reading a book
~ He can respond to questions with a nod or shake of his head, or a shrug of his shoulders
~ He actually goes into the house at night, and there is a light in there
~ If there is a bug in the room, be it a fly, moth, spider or such. He will drop what he is doing and smack it's butt martial arts style then eat it. He also has no problem it seems from jumping up to hit flying bugs on the ceiling, or landing from the drop.

Present

Ora found the box and gingerly prodded the turtle lightly. He was stunned that something like that could be alive. He remembered the book he had been reading from the library and took it out. It had a lot of information on reptiles from all over the world. Peeking every so often at the turle as it sat in the box he poured over the book, looking for what type or turtle it might be.

The Bumper Book of Reptiles
A key characteristic of box turtles is their hinged plastron (bottom of the shell) that can be shut completely to exclude predators. Although mud, musk, and blandings turtles also posses hinged shells, they cannot be closed completely. Superficially, box turtles resemble tortoises but they are actually more closely related to many aquatic turtles and belong to the same family as spotted, bog, chicken, map, and painted turtles, as well as sliders, cooters, and diamondback terrapins.

Box turtles are omnivores in the broadest sense of the word. They will eat almost anything, animal or plant, that they can fit in their mouth. Intriguingly, it is thought that young box turtles are primarily carnivorous and that as they grow their diet shifts more and more towards plant material. Favorite foods include almost any insect (although they seem to particularly relish worms and slugs), virtually any fruit or berry, mushrooms, a variety of vegetable matter, and even carrion. Interestingly, box turtles are even able to eat many mushrooms that are toxic to humans.

So this turtle liked insects. Ora looked around, how was he going to catch insects? The dragon rememberd the small container of food and picked it up, shaking it and listening to the dry rustle that sounded inside. Not knowing what it was he decided to check it out some more later. He thought a little about the turtle before deciding he sould name it, he couldn't call it 'the turtle' all the time. Thinking about all the different names for turtles started giving him a headach so he looked at the few other books he had found in the library. One had a picture of a turtle on the cover and he opened it to read the first chapter:

Small Gods
In a distant and second-hand set of dimentions, in an astral plane that was never ment to fly, the curling star-mists waver and part...
See...
Great A'Tuin the turtle comes, swimming slowly through the intestellar gulf, hydrogen frost on his ponderous limbs, his huge and ancient shell pocked with meteor craters. Through sea-sized eyes that are crusted with rheum and asteroid dust He stares fixedly at the Destination.

Ora put down the book... half of those big word he didn't understand but he did catch one thing. The turtle on the cover was called Great A'Tuin. Looking down at the tortoise Ora came to a decision. "I shall call you A'Tuin." He nodded with a smile and turned back to the larger book... there was a section about caring for turtles he figured he probably should know.

Early Rising

Groggily, Ora opened his eyes. He seemed to be sleeping a lot recently, not that he knew if that was bad or good. Rolling over to his side, the komodo bleerily looked around spotting A'Tuin sitting in the sand. Rising his head to get a better look, he could see the turtle moving about slowly in a ritualized morning. Frowning slightly at the odd sight he tried to think about what he had read... he was pretty sure turtles weren't suppost to be doing things like this. Propping himself up a little more he dragon uncoiled his tail from around his leg and used it to prod in the general direction of the turtle. At first A'Tuin seemed to ignore him until Ora got really close and suddenly felt his tail get stung. With wide eyes and his tail coiling up quickly out of harms way he realized the turtle had kicked it with a hind leg. How did he do that?!? Ora nursed his tail tip until it felt better and sat up. By now the turtle had completed his dance and was watching the dragon with bright eyes.

Taking iniciative Ora decided to question what that was all about. Wiggeling out of bed and crouching down close to the turtles home area on one of the lower tables he tilted his head to the side and thought for a moment. "Is that a dance?"

The turtle shook his head before stopping and nodding slowly.

So it was a dance but not completely... Ora thought a little harder. He had come across reading about excersize routines from his reading about the mythical isle of Komodo and other exotic places. He had though it was pretty dangerous stuff and wondered why anyone would want to do such moving about instead of enjoying the stillness. This slow dance thing might be a little interesting though. Along that train of though he asked his next question. "Is it like an excersize thingy? Like slow kicks and stuff... what ninja's do?"

To the first question he got a nod to the second the turtle shurgged before agreeing. It was kind of what ninja's did.

Ora nodded too not wondering how a turtle would know what ninja's were. So this was something that was like what ninja's did but slower and, in the dragon's eyes, much more cooler. He comtemplated some more before asking his next question... "So... can I learnt the ninja-dance thingy too?"

A'Tuin seemed to give an exasperated sigh before turning into his home and pulling out a book with his beak. The small book had something like 'Tai Chi' written on it but the lettering inside was too small for Ora to read. Tai Chi... Ora decided to look that up later and then turned towards the turtle once again. "So can I learn this T-a-i Ch-eee?"

After a moment of thought, the turtle nodded but wandered back into his home. It could wait until tomorrow...

Trip to the faire

Ora wandered into the festivities a little dazed. In his hand were the fistful of tickets he had been given upon entry. Loud music and many merry voices jostled at his senses as his taste and smell took in all the food and people around him. Wandering through the small dragon spotted a huge contraption that was controlled by a large construct who seemed to make it move as he spun the handle. Curious, Ora looked at his tickets and then at the sign. "Ferrrrr... isss Wheeeel" He mouthed out the words and then made his mind up. He would try this Wheel and see what it did.

Handing his ticket to the construct he clumbed into the bucket like car and sat down onto the coushy seat. Bouncing slightly on the chair he felt it spring back undernieth him and grinned, this would be a good place to take a nap... It was then that the ride started, climbing higher and higher. The komodo looked down as the ground fell below him, the other rosen looking like ants. So this is how a balloon feels...

After riding all the way to the top he looked down upon all the people below. He spotted a few who he might have recognized if he had been a little closer down one of the alleys and decided he'd go there next. The beauty of the surroundings were lost on him however as the rosen found out that his eye sight wasn't as good as he remembered... everything was blurry from afar. As the wheel began it's ponderous decent the noise of the festivities came rushing up to meet him but it was now not such a new thing and he felt a little more comfortable in the throng of the masses.

Ora peered down the allyway where all the games where played. Walking down he looked at each of them, seeing how they were played and such. With a chuckle he suddenly realized he must have just missed the many rosen he had seen from high up in the ferris wheel. Not that is mattered too much, he was kept quite occupied by the noise and flashing lights.

He glanced around at the different games and decided on the one that caught his eye the first time he walked through. It seemed like all he had to do was hit this small pad with a large hammer and make the bell ring at the top. Seemed simple enough... Paying his ticket he wandered up to the wooden handle and grasped it with both hands. With a great deal of consentration he lifted it and, using his tail for balance, smashed it down onto the pad. It almost reached the top, the lights flashed, showing how high he had reached. The komodo grinned, especially when he was handed a small black and white bear. This was quite fun... He quickly passed over another ticket and picked up the hammer again. Judging his strength level from last time his thought for a moment and re-planted his feet.

Sucess! The bell rang out clearly and his tail slapped the floor with a thud. A large sea-critter looking thing was handed to him, about the size of a large pillow and he grasped it around it's thick body feeling rather pleased with himself. With this new-found 'skill' he figured he'd try one of the more harder challenges, such as that dart game he saw...

Haloween Party

Kranna
Chloe skipped into the dance club in her face was a huge grin. She had on a white and yellow dress with puffy sleaves and a pink sash with a bow at the back, on her head sat a pointy white hat and she carried with her a sparkly wand, as she skipped a pink cape bounced up and down.

Her eyes quickly looked around the room, it was so cool! All the decorations and the light's and the swirly grey smokey stuff on the floor. Then she saw the sweets, Chloe remembered the pink fluffy stuff from the carnaval, that had been a sweet. Dashing over to the table she picked up a funny looking thing, it was decorated so it looked a bit like an eye. Unconcerned she bit into it, her eyes grew bigger as she stuffed the rest of the treat in her mouth managing to get marshmallow on her nose in the process. Swallowing it down she grinned and picked up a candie which she ate, quickly realising she was supposed to keep it in your mouth and not chew.

Amirynth
Ora hung around near one of the walls feeling slightly out of place. He had managed to find a late victorian outfit complete with top hat and he felt kind of naked without his pnada hat on his head. The food on the tables smelled sweet and he was torn between staying near the wall, out of the way and wandering over towards the table of that nice smelling food. His stomach was almost winning over but his eyes darted out towards the dance floor to make sure no one noticed him.

Touge flickering in and out he moved slowly around a few chairs as he navigated his way through the room. Bright eyes locked onto the delicious smelling candy and completely didn't notice the other rosen who was tasteing the other delicesies. A few interesingly shaped food-stuffs later and Ora was trying to decide whether to be grossed out or intregued by the spread. There was just something about eating things that looked like hearts or eye-balls... and yet tasteing more like gumdrops.

The Poison Arrow

Kyler waved to the DJ construct, giving it all the hand signals he could manage to gesture to get the music to be more up beat. Kyler liked it a little bit faster in tempo, he liked to move around a bit. When the music changed to something more upbeat, he grinned and started moving about like he was having fun, and he was.

He noticed others had arrived to the party, and remembered them both clearly enough, even through their costumes. He gave them both a wave and had to chuckle at Chloe, she really looked like she was enjoying that tart.

Kranna
Chloe only noticed Ora when he was right by the table, by now she had managed to stuff in two tarts, a handful of sweets and a cupcake. Looking up she smiled at him, one cheek bulging from a candie.

"Hiya! I'm Chloe, who are you? Your costume is realy cool."

Swallowing the sweet she waved at Kyler as he danced she wondered for a moment why he was wearing a skirt. She didn't think boy's wore skirts but this was suposed to be a special day so mabey it was okay?

"This stuff's great isn't it, almost as good as the pink fuzzy."

Amirynth
Ora stared blankly for a moment as if his brain had just upped and left. With his own particular shake of his head he blinked and smiled. "Seen you before, forgotten name." He could remember her from somewhere but couldn't place where. "I'm Ora. You have very spar-k-ly cos-tume." He bowed slightly, tickeled pink when she complemented his outfit. "A'Tuin choses mine." The turtle had become quite useful and he found it was much easier to make decicions when the shelled critter was around.

"Food good?" Plesentry conversation ran dry, Ora turned to his second favorite subject. Putting his finger into one of the 'blood' puddings he licked it throughtfully before a grin spread across his face. The food was definatly good... and very sweet. Out of the corner of his eye he spotted Kyler dancing with a dark-skinned girl and wondered what they were doing moving about like that on the floor. He'd ask this new girl about that later.

Kranna
Chloe licked the marshmallow off a tart as Ora spoke and she tried to concentrait on his words, her mind kept drifting everywhere though she still heard what he said. When he complemented her costume her smile grew wider and the tips of her ears turned faintly pink upon her blue skin.

"Thank you. Who is A'Tuin? I havn't met them."

She had realy taken a liking to the tart's specificaly the marsmallow 'fluffyness' on them. Picking another one up she held it out to Ora a sticky grin on her face.

"Try this one, is very good."

Amirynth

Taking the tart, Ora sniffed at it for a moment before mirroring her grin. Licking the cream off the top be nodded. "T'is good, very good." Finishing it off he picked a few other things that looked taisty. When he came across an especially good one he passed another to her as they chatted. "A'Tuin is turtle. He came to me one day. Appeared in room. A'Tuin is very special. Can do many things." The komodo nodded and smiled though his little speech and managed to get a little of the cream fluff on his nose which he hadn't seemed to notice.

Kranna
Chloe nodded in agreement and smiled when he passed her another sweet. When he mentioned he had a turtle she nearly choked in her excitement.

"You have a turtle!"

She gasped finaly swallowing the rest of it safely.

"Ivy has a pet too but is a fish called spinner. I've never seen a turtle before though whas he like? What kind's of things can he do?"

She giggled as Ora got the cream off his nose. Her own face was very sticky but she figured she'd wash it later. What was the point now when she would just eat more.

Amirynth
Wondering what Chole was giggeling about he almost looked cross-eyed down his nose before figuring out it was the mess he had made. Ora's tounge flickered out as it gathered the cream from his nose and he grinned. "Turtles are reptiles like me. They have a shell on their back which is like their home." Ora looked down and sampled something else while he tried to remember what to book said. "Turtles are om-ni-ver-rus, it means they can eat anything. Turtles are really cool! They can do Kung Foo and hit bugs out of the air and they can do other nifty tricks too." He took a breath, such long conversation was rare for him but it might be the sugar...

The komodo glanced over to the girl and tilted his head to the side. "What's a spinner? Is it another type of reptile?" He grabbed a few more things still feeling hungry, it would be about now that Chole might realize he had eaten a huge ammount of food and yet he didn't seem to be slowing down.

Christmas?

The Nameless One
At night, in the full moon, a monstrous door opens its huge eyes and groans softly in motion. The ground cracks beneath its massive stone feet as it moves forwards, enough for a person to slip through. In the dim of The Grey Tower’s entrance, a slender shadow emerges and steps with not sound into the night air.
*****

Stretching out his hand once more, the shadows creep into his grasp and begin to form solid. A bow forms into his hand, and he grips it firmly. Reaching once more into the folds of his cloak, he draws a single arrow, appearing to be made of ice. Notching it into the bow’s string, he aims the arrow to the sky and fires it like a star returning home. With that he turns and walks towards the tower, slipping inside silently once more.

The door makes its way back to its hole, closing up the confines of the tower. And as it clicks into place, a small white flake falls to the ground and is soon joined by many. It is not long from then, that Toxicity begins to snow.

Ora woke up with a few blinks and a shiver. Curling up a little tighter in his warm bed he coiled his tail around him and peeked one eye out. He had left his window open that night and the sun had not quite come up yet. Wondering what might have woken himself up the komodo listened and realized he could hear nothing. It was as if a blanket had been layed over the world muffeling the normal night noises. Curiosity overcomming the urge to stay warm, he glanced over towards A'Tuin and saw the turtle's light was off which meant the reptile was still asleep. Poking one foot out, he was about ti withdraw it back into the warmth that enveloped him but decided to close the window first. The other foot slipped out and the blanket followed. The comforter-covered dragon made it's way to the window and was just about to shut it tight when his eyes widened in wonder at what he saw. Small white flakes of something were falling from the sky. It couldn't be rain 'cause it was falling too slow. Ora put out his hand making a face as the cold wind teased his fingers. A few drops of wetness glided across his hand, mealting almost instantly from the warmth of his body. Slow rain? He was still curious about this phenomonon and poked his nose out of the window, feeling the soft dots of snow hit his scales. Blinking as his tounge snaked out to taste the tiny morsels of ice he frowned. It's like that icecream stuff... but with no taste. He wasn't sure if he liked this. Shivering again he pulled the blankets closer around him and closed the window. Maybe when the sun came out he would feel a little more ready to expericance this cold wet new thing...

Present hunting

The Nameless One
A note slips under the door of Ora's residence one late evening, sealed with wax and written on black paper. Upon opening, the paper appears blank, but the message is not written on the paper. A voice speaks in the back of his mind, one he has heard before.

" You one, it is your task to seek a gift for the one named Dylan. Another will be seeking a gift for you, but only time will tell who that is. Keep this name a secret with you until the party event in the days to come. Remember to leave your gift with Sparks"

The paper then crumbles into dust and disappears, leaving him with an empty hand.

Ora wandered the Mall looking through all the shop windows. Nothing seemed to catch his eye and he looked down at a small scrawled upon piece of paper that was creased all over from being clenched in his hand. Stopping by a clothing store he mushed his head up to the glass and peered into the bright wndow. There was a jacket there that seemed to be really nice and warm but then he wasn't looking for himself and he pushed his body away from the window. He was feeling much more sluggish than usual and blamed the cold that had come with the show. Snow itsself was kind of fun but he much prefered looking at it from behind a window and drinking hot chocolate.

Sighing and moving to the next window he looked down at the paper again, trying to smoothe out some of the creases. The komodo still wasn't quite sure what to get for a gift and spun slowly around in a circle as he tried to think of something. He had hoped that the perfect present would jump out as he passed the windows but no such luck. Getting a little dizzy he stopped sminning and opened his eyes. Looking to his left he saw a store and without looking at what it was called he walked inside. This would be the place. Taking a few steps inside he looked around... A craft store? giving a shrug he decided to look amongst the shelves of fabric, woll and paper to find 'the perfect gift'

Up and down the asiles he wandered. There had to be something... He though about what he knew about his secret santa which wasn't much and rubbed his nose. It was then a selection of papers caught his attention. The scene was of a very cold day, snow all around and it looked like a breeze was blowing and yet the main person in the image was happy, smiling and very warm looking. Ora was confused how that could be before he read the writing under it. 'Warm knitted scarf, hat and armwarmers. Easy pattern, just add yarn!'

No that looked promising. He grabed up the piece of paper and looked at the back. There was some instructions and some tools he'd need as well as the yarn. It didn't look to hard, just something to do with knots or something. He nodded to himself, this would be perfect! Gathering up the needed crochet hook, and blue and white skeins of yarn, the dragon went up to the construct selling the crafts and asked to take them before wandering out, paper in hand now joined with the armwarmer instructions.

Attempting a work of art

Ora was stuck... tied up in what seemed to be a mound of wool. He had managed to start off his little project but the hook didn't seem to want to cooperate. A few lines into the first armwarmer and he was begining to dispair. Somehow he had to figure out how he was going wrong or the present would never be completed in time. Turning towards A'Tuin the dragon waved his hand at the yarn pile and sighed. "What do I do? There has to be something I can do to fix this..."

The turtle seemed to consider this before nodding.

Well that was a start. A little hope showed in his voice as he thought out loud. "There has to be something I am doing wrong. Maybe the library has something in there." It was odd how a reptile like him did not like to read yet found almost all his answers in books. Something he had never thought about really though, it didn't seem that important. Getting up and untangled from the mess took a bit but when he was free the rosen made his way towards the library.
