SHE SANG IT? Grrr, the nerve of that woman! I don't hate ehr as much as some people do, but when she tried to cover Green Day songs like American Idiot and Basket Case . . . dude, not cool.

i've heard about this.
i haven't actually heard her sing the song.
i don't want to.
but i do know that she has sung other green day songs.
and she sucks at singing.
i don't give a s**t about her.
her voice sounds like a cat being stuck ina dryer.

dude like yesterday i was on this lyric site and i punched in "basket case" and it popped up as being by avril lavigne. so i just thought it was a mistake..but then multiple lyric sites kept saying "by avril lavigne" yeah not cool stare

We got lazy and didn't want to learn the bridge, so it's basically just the first half of the song. And it was a terrible recording. I'm quite embarassed of it, but at the same time I think it's hysterical.

Yellie Avril sings a lot of Green Day songs though.... On her MTV diary (don't ask, I was bored.) she was singing Longview... Meh, she can do whatever she wants in my opinion, I really don't give a poo about Avril.... Longview? Isn't that a more.... guy-esque song? lyric wise? hmmm oh well whatever! I haven't heard any of the redos so I can't tell you if they did justice to the songs or not!

I've heard it from GDA... Oh my god. I muted the thing 10 seconds into it because I'd rather be deaf than hear that. I like her other music, but she literally took American Idiot, smashed it with her guitar, pounded it with her drum sticks, hit it with her piano hammers and then just chopped it up with a guillitoine and dumped it in a shredder.
