Keone had been laying quietly, his tail flicking idly over his back as the dark leopardess ate her prey. A soft quiet purr rumbled in his chest as he simply enjoyed her company. He might have spoken, but he didn't really need to; he was happy just simply bein beside her.
When she spoke, his ears flicked, tail twitching as he sat, a slight smile on his maw. Keone loved the water, he enjoyed swimming and even more than that, he enjoyed the fish.
"Sure."
His voice was cheerful as he stood to four paws, nudging her lightly with his fluffy head before his steps carried him toward the river, pausing to make sure she followed.

She smiles and moves to follow him, catching up at his side when he stops to look back. "Same place as the day we met? I'm sure the fish sure miss you. " She said mischeviously, recalling the day they first met, when she'd chased a school of fish onto him.
"They did look like they were in such a hurry to meet you. "
She purred, ah how funny it was, a school swimming full speed and ramming into Keone, and the white male scrambling out of the water. She frowns a bit, though, remembering her unfortunate encounter with the snake, before shaking the thought off and leaning slightly to the side to nuzzle Keone's shoulder.
"I can't entirely blame them, though. "
She added, tone less joking, as it was true that she enjoyed his company, even if the fish thinking the same was a joke.

The small leopard nodded brightly, his steps light and happy as he moved through the sea of green.
"Best swimming spot in the jungle."
As she spoke further, Keone blinked, his ear cocked curiously, not quiet sure what she meant. It took him a moment, but when the joke settled in, he understood, and a broad smile crossed his maw.
"Well at least they weren't trying to eat my tail."
He remembered how he had tried to lure the fish into going after the dark leopardess' tail. Though his attempt had been far less successful than hers, it had still been fun, and it made him happy to think of it.
Keone didn't seem to share the same recolation of the encounter with the snake, though it was highly unlikely that he had truely forgotten. More likely he had simply blocked it from his mind, trying his best to not remember the terrifying incident.

She grins, tail flicking with amusement at the recolection of the day.
"Hmph, its an eficient way of fishing, they come right over to you, don't they? "
Karama said, rolling her eyes and headbutting his shoulder playfully, using one paw to bat lightly at one of his own.
"I bet I beat you to there. "

"Hah, no way!"
The white leopard danced on his paws before taking her challenge by suddenly darting off. His paws moved swiftly and surely through the jungle, leaping through trees and along vines on his way to the water's edge.
The small leopard was light and agile, moving through the trees with the ease of one who had spent all his life in the jungle.

Karama grins, begining to sprint as Keone does, only not really attempting to go up the trees, the white male was much, much better at that. She continued on the ground, dodging the trees with ease, leaping over the occasional bushes the forest had, or if they were small enough anyways.
Even though Karama had always been faster than stronger, but Keone was ahead, and would likely get in the water first, too. The dark leopardess grins, moving away from another tree, pushing a hanging vine away with her forehead and continuing to run, attempting to speed up every thime there was enough vague room between the trees.

Going through the trees was much faster than going around them, and for Keone, it was far more efficiant. He was better in the trees than on the ground, his stride stretching to full length as he lept from branch to branch. The advantage was that he didn't have to wait for a clearing to run at full speed.
It wasn't long before the water came into view, the liquid as beautiful and clear as ever, filled with shimmering and rather tastey fish. With a final bound, Keone lept from a branch above, diving into the crystal water with a great splash.

It took a bit longer for the female to arrive at the scene, and was reaching the bank as Kone splashed into the water. She climbed up a tree, hoping to get to the top before he resurfaced. Her pelt blended neatly with the tree bark, hiding her white stomach and paws by ducking on a branch, hidden by the leaves and camouflaged by color.
Perhaps, she could suprize him? Springing out of nowhere and scaring things had always been part of Karama's 'fun things to do', and it might just be fun if you splashed into the water right after. From here, she could also see if there were any snakes, wich fortunatly, there didn't seem to be.
Curling her tail around the branch, she waited to see if Keone had realised her or not.

Keone stayed under the water's surface longer than expected, perhaps it might have seemed like too long. But when he finally did break from the crystaline water the reason was instantly revealed by the larged wriggling fish held tightly in his jaws. He had simply taken the opportunity to seize a snack, his favorite food.
His green eyes looked about, scanning for the leopardess that couldn't have been far behind him. He might have called out where his mouth not full of fish. Where was she anyways, surely she must be close by now.

In the time that Keone spent more underwater, she had moved a bit further along the branch, justas to be closer to the water and be assured not to land heavly in theshallows, wich would be rather painfull.
He surfaced, and she grinned, eyes managing to peek between the leaves enough to see him. She carefully and soundlessly brought her paws beneath her, tail uncurling slightly from the banch as she located the balance needed to leap.
Karama awaited untill his eyes seemed to look in another direction, and sprawng from the branch, front paws extended as if to pounce something, even if the real intention as break the water's surface. From Keone's position, it'd look more like she was about to slam into him, even if the true landing point was more to his left, and nothing would happen if he didn't try and swim that way.
"Lookout below! "

Keone was completely oblivious, too occupied with his fish to notice he was being stalked. Thinking that the leopardess must be nearby, Keone focused his attention on taking a large bite from his prey.
No sooner had his sank his talons and teeth into the wriggling fish, then his ears caught the sound of Karama's voice. His eyes widened as he looked up to see her spring toward him. He barely had enough time to react, flailing in the water to swim out of her landing path.

The leopardes slashes into the water with a loud 'plunkt' sound, being havier than Keone. Soon she was in the water, now all wet, yet still not resurfacing. First, she had to turn around, no use going up there bottom first. Her paws paddled to push her into a half under water flip, then paddling up to the surface next to Keone, sticking her head out and pulling in air, having unfortunatly breather in some water at the attempted flip.
She annoyedly paws at her nose, inhaling and exhaling quickly, making a sneeze-like sound. "Remind me not to do that again. " She said, snorting as another attempt to get the water and annoying feeling out of her nose.
"Sorry about that, " She adds with a grin.

His mouth to full of fish, the leopard simply nodded, green eyes still wide as he stared at her. For a moment he wondered why she liked to do that so much and he thought of asking, but a wriggle from the fish in his jaws distracted him and he had soon forgotten the entire thing.
Holding the unfortunate creature firmly in his claws, he finally managed to take a bit, chew it, and swallowed. Turning to Karama he grinned, his tail swishing about in the water as he offered the fish to her.
"Want some?"

The leopardess feels a little uneasy at Keone's expression at first, as if she had scared him a bit too much, like she had done with Chuakari, even if that case haden't been on purpouse. At least he forgot it quickly, and didn't stay jumpy for a while, or at least he didn't look like it.
She blinks, a little unsure if she's hungry or not; they had just eaten that gazelle-- well, it was, afterall, a tiny baby gazelle, those didn't really feed much.
"Sure. " She said smiling, she didn't eat fish often, but they did taste good.

Keone grinned, purring happily. The small leopard loved fish, it was his favorite meal, and since he hadn't eaten much of the gazelle, he was still a bit hungry. Which was just fine with him because it meant he could fill his belly with the delicious shimmering creatures.
"Here, I'll get us another one."
Still grinning at her, he handed the fish to Karama then dove beneath the surface again, moving through the clear liquid with the ease and grace of a predator on the hunt. Keone stalked fish the way others stalked gazelles. Rather than staying still and waiting for the fish to come to him like most predators, he actively hunted them, sneaking through the grasses and around rocks until he pounced upon his unsuspecting prey.
He was beneath the water for several moments, perhaps longer than most cats would have been comfortable with. Soon enough however, he broke the surface once again, holding yet another wriggling fish in his jaws.
