blackfoxi Davey_Havok_Fan blackfoxi Davey_Havok_Fan Sadly most of the music I've heard by HIM is off of Dark Light so I know it as my favorite of their's only because I have heard no other. Please, PLEASE let me help you get more familiar with their music! You've haven't heard the BEST of HIM until you've heard their other albums... trust me. wink Oh I know I've heard a bit of their older music and I prefer it over Dark Lights. Just teh only album I've heard is Dark Light so I can't call any others my favorite. i would send you my mp3's but i don't know how to do that. just to help ya, here's a listing of all of their albums: Greatest Lovesongs Vol. 666

Deep Shadows And Brilliant Highlights
Love Metal
And Love Said No (technically, this is a greatest hits album, but it's worth buying)

Jades_Fire_Inside Viselle I hate it because there's nothing special about it.
Like I said before, all the songs are well written and produced, but they all sound the same.
They all follow the exact same pattern, and after a while the album gets so damn boring.
Espeically when you compare it to their older albums, all the songs sounded different, and they were creative and I'd never heard anything like it before.
Plus, they're completely sold out to America now. gonk I 100% agree with Viselle. The album is very boring. AND I HATE, HATE, HATE the fact that they are such American sellouts. GAHHH!! They should have stayed in Finland....grrrr... Or Europe It's why I prefer the rasmus at the moment; their being as anti-american and as Finnish as possible.

And don't even get me started on the song Dark Light... gonk
And as for people only having heard of Dark Light, the amount of join requests I see with "OMG my favourite song is Wings Of A Butterfly!!!!1", it makes me wanna scream.

how i did it was that i went in order from oldest to newest, as listed in my last post. each album sounds different, and in my opinion, gets better with each album...up until you get to dark light. gonk

Meh, I don't like Dark Light much...I can't listen to it all at once either...Whenever I listen to it, its two or three songs then I change the CD OR I have it on as background music/noise(I can't stand silence) when I'm reading >.< sweatdrop Best song from that CD was sadly only on the fan edition(which I have) The Cage ...best darklight song...My personal favorite HIM album though, is Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights 3nodding I love it! My allllllll tiiiiime favorite HIM song is Please Don't Let It Go... xd

It's definatly not my fave album, but it does have a few songs on there that i love, but certainly not there best album. Btw Please have a look at my thread which i just made biggrin

Viselle, I have to agree with you on that one. If I have to freaken see one more moron saying they want to join and their favorite song is "Wings of a Butterfly" I'm going to shoot myself. I hate that song. I can't even listen to it at all anymore. I know I'm all about educate the stupid fans, but how can we educate people that can't/don't learn? ... I'm sick of all the new poser American morons. I don't know what the HIM fandom has turned into anymore.
