PantherDX What would be your favorite weapon and attack off of any Final Fantasy game? My Favorite weapon would have to be Squall Leonhart's gunblade. Thas the coolest to me. My favorite attack would be Cid's off of Final Fantasy 7. I forgot what it was called but it was the bomb!! Whats your favorite weapon and attack? It's Called "Highwind". wink

Ortinbras hmmm i don't realy know what weapon id choose there's a lot of cool weapons out there......
but as for attacks id have to go with the ice based spells they have always been my favorites, that or bahamut zeros attack that rocked! I say I agree.

sabaal Kira Yuki I liked Seph's sword... Murasame right? (Hope I didn't butcher the name by not knowing how to spell it) No one liked Cloud's Omnislash? Oh.. well I do. =/ Murasame is another blade of similar legendary status, but the one Sephiroth uses is called Masamune. That'd be my second favorite weapon. My first is that giant four-point returner that Yuffie uses. Something about a boomerang with four swords glued to it just makes me think, "Cool!" biggrin that is true and i know the legend the masamune & the murasame (i think thats the blade's name). well a master sword smith [masa] & appentice[mune] were the finest sword smiths in the land. As a final test masa told his appentice that he wants to see what resides in his soul and to see if he was ready to smith on his own. in order to do that he had to make a sword equal or surpass the sword that masa makes. so they both set out and sith these two great swords. as the test went on his master was impressed. then they got to the final part of the test they stuck both blades side by side in a river so the blade went against the river. then the master took two leaves from a tree and set the leaf on his side of the river. the leaf safely passed the masa's blade unharmed. then he put the other leaf on the side were mune stuck his blade the leaf passed through mune's blade the master picked up the leaf and it split in two. masa realised that he didn't teach mune any thing other than smithing and forced mune never to return until he learned compassion. mune grabed his sword wielding it about to say his master and left in anger...... thats all i know about the legend i know there is more to it.

Mm, i know that legend too. it has something to do with Sephiroth's name and its links in the Kabbalah religion/cult, also.
all part of the sepiroth enigma.
as for my W.O.C.... Gotta be the Ragnarok blade... or the Yoshiyuki, purely for its looks. I was always fond of the Nailbat and Mop too, though. (Nailbat is a weapon found in the Temple of the Ancients in FFVII, and Mop is a weapon for Cid buried in Bone Village... and yes, it is really a mop!)

fav weapon would have to be the masamune or the heavens cloud....and for attack it would have to be omni-slash

hmm fav weapon.... now that's a toughie sweatdrop but i'll have to go with........ Death Penalty Vincent's last weapon. as for attack... well Fat Chocco is alway's my fav xd xd sweatdrop

as for move. omnislash.... but i like the one in advent children for the fact that it was knights of the round mixed with omnislashe

clouds/zacks original sword that thign was a beast i wanna see someone in real life try to weild a thing like that. coolest attack would be omnislash but best would be (even though i think ive seen it like a million times) wsummon KOTR.

Apocalypse is pretty sick too. As for summon... My fave is Hades, for it's power, but my fave looking has to be Bahamut ZERO. I know a lotta people are gonna say KOTR, and it is absolutely essential for beating the Emerald Weapon, but it is so goddamn LONG!

OK your all wrong. The best weapon out of ANY final fantasy was Cid's Mop, and personally I think the best attack was Matra Magic, That or Yuffie's final Limit Break. (Can't remember what it was called though.)

soadshuyin Gotta keep it within the bounds of FFVII people, remember that. But my favorite from VII has to be the Buster Sword, simply because of Zack and Cloud both using it. Sorry to burst your bubble, but the first post is the one with the foul...it says ANY final fantasy, but, as we all know, we're in a FFVII guild...so... I see you're still loyal to Zach! Good! I'd give you so much crap if you turned your back on him now! Anyway, I'd want the Ultima Weapon, because it's one of the only weapons based upon your health...ie if you're weak, its weak! And my favorite attack is, its simple, but 4xhit...I don't know why, but being able to hit 4 times in the place of one everytime, without having to wait for your limit meter to fill, just floats my boat!
