Yes I have done it. It was stressful but pretty easy if you just stand in the open and let the light flash. My method was not running around and put a peaceful targe on rikku.

Yeah that's how I was doing it.... the other important thing is to have something with "No Encounters" equipped because if you move too far out of place dodging the lightning you may get in a fight correcting your position. I've gotten in fights before just as lightning was about to strike and after the battle it would still strike just as quickly as it would've if the fight hadn't happened. That's all I gotta say.... not that I care too much though... I have done EVERYTHING else in the game..... and I just made Lulu her own ultimate weapon.... it just isn't the onion knight, though it has all the same abilities on it.

That's what I meant by no encounters. Peaceful targe. And yeah I hated how when lighting flashes first a battle would start and you get struck like nothing happened. I couldn't have made lulu's own weapon because that would mean serious item hunting and i kinda have the patience but kinda isn't good enough. the only people's legendary weapon I didn't get were Tidus (chocobo racing is hard, Yuna (forgot about destruction spheres) and khimari (I like him but i don't feel liek chasing butterflies all day). Surprisingly though I did get Wakka's because i started really liking blitzball.

rrrrrrgh. I've tried it so. many. times, and I've never done it. I always end up getting hit after 157 dodges or something, which is annoying beyond belief.
I want that Venus Sigil, dammit!

I did, after I read this nifty little stratigy(sp?).
-Stand in a spot where lighting hits frequently, like the spot where the clearing begins after the travel agency area(no encounters is recomended). Dodge lightning for about 5 minutes. Then take a break. Read, watch tv, whatever, then come back about 5 minutes. Rinse, lather, and repeat. This way you don't get tired and distracted, like you would after, say, 30 minutes of nonstop dodgeing.

I did it, easily, mind you.
I put the mute, then I get a good CD, play it and go.
Then, I find one spot, dodge one bolt, walk to the spot, do it again.
It also helps if you have the "No Encounter" ability.
