I also believe that A) any future plot developments you have should be submitted to Anya or another GM for a review and an official "okay" if they are to be important (quests for instance, but if your Fa'e is going to the store then really, no big deal). This is a policy I myself adhere to, and find that it adds a lot of clout behind you if you previously told a GM about it and THEN someone stepped into your area before you had a chance to begin/complete the storyline or something.

B) If your Fa'e is to receive a new power, send a PM to a GM to get it okayed also.

As far as an official list being compiled, I see no problem with it. The GMs, as far as I know, are fully aware of Dil's backstory and Anya herself knows what's going to happen during Dil's youth quest, at least vaguely. However, I do feel this list should be made private unless difficulties arise, and it should then be resolved with the GMs and those involved.

I strongly agree with Kali and her sentiment over Fa'e magically gaining powers just because the guardian feels they should have so-and-so power, or tacking on new mythologies without consulting a GM first for permission. A lot of the Fa'e - including Dil, though everything will be explained and justified in his youth quest - lack a lot of justification for things such as powers, appearances, and mythos. Perhaps some of these need to be cleaned up? If some Fa'e didn't include so many different mythologies in one go - for instance Silver, who is a werewolf knight shaman and a few other things if I'm not mistaken - less toes would be trodden on. Really, a cooperative, collaborative effort and a GM permission system should solve any future problems like this in the future, >3.

The only thing Roth has which doesn't tie directly back into his myth/background is his teleportation power. In that case, he was just jealous of Kali and wanted to mimic her sweatdrop

I don't think I've ever given Anya big specifics on everything I was going to do for Roth, but she's known of a few things that will happen to him later (when he's an adult, for instance) for a while. Roth's teen quest was the first one not given directly from Anya and she liked it, so I don't think I had problems there.

I know what you mean though. If there are several fa'e that have similar myths, powers or heritages, it might be an idea to work out who's doing what between each other, or at least tell Anya as soon as you know what you want to do so she can at least say, "sorry, this person was here first". (As an example, if our new Aztec fa'e wanted to use the same diety as an NPC in a future quest or something.)

The more fa'e we have, the bigger the chances of someone treading on someone else's toes, accidentally or not. So it would be best to try and minimise the chance, I think.

A few simple logistics to point out that I have not seen stated so far. I am not sure if I'm really allowed to, but I figure simply stated logic might be helpful.

1)Any power that is directly tied in with their mythos, or main mythos, should fit the mythos and, as such, not be a big deal. If it is not one of those, then you best be able to alter your ideas and plans.

2)The general list would be helpful to those conceiving concepts to keep away from the current stuff. It doesn't work to say that since you plan to, or already have but don't state it, then get mad if someone has something similar.

3)Certain mythos sets, though about the same people, may directly conflict and be okay, because the same people could be the equivilent of them from another dimension. For instance if there is a "Sword in the Stone" Arthur, and the Lady of the Lake, they could easily get along and have vary interesting RPs together. Their mythos are such that they do not know each other, but one knows a different version of the other.

4)If you really have a problem with others using your Fa'e's power(s), then give a detailed reason for having it, and how it works.

5)Using powers in the normally thought off manner becomes a boring thing on it's own, hence many people having the same powers becomes an issue for those who don't care if others have a similar ability. An example would be a fire mage working as a healer. The mage can use fire magic to boil water for starilizing, carterize wunds, warm a room, or help cook out a fever. That would be an example of a mage that had a little talent, gained endurance, and doesn't need to be able to use a lot of power at once.

I'm not sure if all of that will make sense, but if you can word questions good enough I might be able to explain, reword, the ideas better.

General good advice: In preventing a problem, you may prevent others.
