I think Sakura's developed a lot over the course of the series. Even before the time skip, she had come a long way from that snobby little brat who insulted Naruto for not having parents in one of the first episodes.

So I like her for the changes and the progress she's made overall. The change may be more noticeable after the time skip because so much time had passed that those changes were no longer gradual, but the result of three years of maturing. Still, she came a long way before that, too.

If I had to pair her with someone, it would probably be Ino. There was a lot of hinting between them in the episode during the chuunin exams when it went into their past. I especially liked the fact that back then, Ino never actually SAID she liked Sasuke. Sakura assumed, and when she told Ino they'd be rivals from then on, Ino looked all hurt at first. It was very cute XD I like to think that Ino only started chasing Sasuke because Sakura had assumed that she liked him, and in declaring them rivals, she hurt Ino enough that Ino wants to get back at her by winning Sasuke. But I'm a yuri whore, so I guess just ignore me. xd
