I'm surprised no one hasn't mentioned Fushigi Yuugi or however it's spelled. That series is awesome.

For actual romantic anime/manga, I don't know. I've read some romantic comedies. I's (pronounced "eyes") is a great one. I also consider Rurouni Kenshin a romantic comedy.

Evangelion was pretty romantic when you think about it. Sort of a moral that love always leads to death and the destruction of something. Tho that doesn't mean love didn't exist.
Escaflowne was another one that was or could be considered romantic. As was angel sanctuary

Rurouni Kenshin, Fru Ba, Card Captor Sakura, Sailor Moon, Tsubasa Chronicles, umm... Escaflowne, even X/1999 had some romance in it.

Tho when you think about it all around, anime in itself has love in every one you see. Be it very subliminal (sc). note: hellsing ((alucard and the girl he turned the cop. There was love right there. She was about to die and he turned her. and thus she slowly fell in love with him being her master; ever notice why she never wanted to be without her master))
Same could be said for ninja scroll. In the end he was in love with the female ninja.

If you notice no matter what anime it is, there is love you can see or a love that isn't meant to be seen unless you looks closely. So the real question should be, what anime doesn't have romance in it??

Yea, I know. Now that's the controversial question, Which anime is the least romantic or has no romance in it at all? I would love to know what other's think about that question.
