Lauri-poo omfg! alien was such a great movie, i remember seein it when i was just a little toddler and it scared the s**t out of me. the other ones were ok but still not as good as the first blaugh Well, technically the second one is considered to be the best. But the first one was definately the scariest, one of the top 10 most terrifying movies ever made.

I love the aliens series! Aliens was always my favorite. Sigourney weaver kicks alien a**! The only problem was alien versus predator after i saw that i couldnt believe there was an alien movie actually out there that sucked! I was so pissed Paul w.s anderson was the director and writer of it and he did a horrible job he also did the same with mortal kombat and resident evil. I am so mad.

All the Alien movies kicked a**. My favorite ones are Aliens and Alien 3. The first one was one of the first horror moves I saw and at the time did scare me a litte.

I... LOVED!!! the series! Not so much Alien Ressurection as all the others. But my two faves were Aliens, and Alien Vs Predator. Aliens because of the Queen Alien... She was the best... especially when she went up against Ripley in the Heavy-lift suit. I liked Alien Vs. Predator simply because it pitted the two coolest outer world terrors against each other... JUST LIKE THE VIDEO GAMES!!!!

Alien is a landmark film. One of the most influential thrillers and one of the most suspenseful films I've ever seen. The tension in the air ducts scene was amazing Aliens took a different method in getting under our skin. The addition of action elements didn't push away the suspense that the First Alien film envoked. The little girl (Newt) help show a more humanistic side of Ripley, maybe that of a lost innocence in herself. The editing is smooth and the movie is a blast to watch. Alien3 used the same formula that Alien did. This time, the Alien has the characteristics of a dog. While the new concept isn't entirely successful, the film shows a few sparks of originality. See the Dirctor's Cut, it's a million times better than the original cut. Alien Reserrection want back to the same badass formula that Aliens used. Though this time, Ripley's character is much more different. She has undergone changes that make her more agressive, but also more distant and cold. It's a pretty cool popcorn flick with some good gore.

Aliens always disturbed me sexually. Hell, anything Giger disturbes me sexually. I've always thought of Newt as a representation of Riply's deceased daughter.

Well, the way the Alien looked really tapped into peoples deepest fears, the fact that it looked very sexual oriented really freaks people out. That's why they decided to use that design for the Alien. Also, the fact that it has so many insect qualities frightens people, it was slimy, they have bug hive qualities, and they have no eyes. For some reason, bugs tend to scare people.
