yeah, I say drop it. Material Components aren't hard to get...unless they're the rare material components. Someone could just buy the Material Component pouch, and be considered to have all Material Components less than like 1g or something. It seems like it's a little over powered, Since most things involving creating something that can use a spell has an xp or large gold cost. It's of course completly up to the DM really.
Umm...one thing though, this campaign tracks time, because it's an important factor. We might not have alot of time to sit and do things like that anyways. I don't know, I haven't done barely anything with it, I just know that it tracks time.

Don't worry. Inscribing a rune only takes 10 minutes plus the casting time of the spell.

Vincent_Fenrir I can't wait to play either... O and I'm a Druid not a ranger... Oh sorry about that LOL... I have drow ranger on the brain... my bad I'll fix it... rofl No more frilly Drizzt books for me LOL

After the end of the last Drizzt book, Salvatore must write more Drizzt... Otherwise Gruumsh will come down and smite him.

Woops, I just noticed my character's name on the top of the char sheet and in the write-up at the bottom had two different last names. His last name should really be Deepsteel, as it is in the background write-up. I changed it up at the top to fix this mistake, so if you have time Tionne you might want to change it on the campaign thread.

I haven't read any of the Drizzt books (yet), but I've played a few FR games with Drizzt in them. Recently I've finished the first book of the War of the Spider Queen series (fitting, no?), and got my girlfriend into the books, because she doesn't think she'd enjoy actually role playing (a shame, but ah well). She knows I want to read the Dark Elf Trilogy, and I'll go from there if I like them. I am curious though, does Artemis Entreri make an appearance in any of the books? I'd hate to think there are so many Drizzt books, and you never encounter Artemis.

Good ol' Artie makes his appearance at the end of the Crystal Shard... I think... either that or the begining of Streams of Silver. The only enduring characters that make and apperance in the Dark Elf Trilogy are Jarlaxle, other assorted Baenres... Catti and Bruenor... though they only show up at the very end of Sojourn. Originally the Crystal Shard was released as the second Realms book ever, RAS went back later and wrote the Prequels.

RaSalvatore has to make so many short stories for so long (I can't remember exactly how many or for how long) so most likely we'll be getting more stories about Drizzt. O and you forgot about Zakanfein in the DeT!!!! He's my favorite character in the series... to bad he had to *oops that would be a spoiler*

Yeah, gotta love Zak... he's one of my favorites too! I've been subscribing to the comic book series, the DET just ended and they are about to start IWD... the art is awesome! Especially how they drew Zak...
I've read the Drizzt stort that happens after the Two Swords, it was really good! It was in the Realm of the Elves, I don't know if you've read that one, but all the stroies are really good. I know that a Wulfgar/Catti story is coming out too, but not until after the third Artie/Jarlaxle book is out. I think that book comes out in October... then RAS said he was doing Gauntlegrym! I asked him on his board how many more Drizzt books there would be, and he said as many as people will read, however he wants to do other Realms stories too, ie Artemis and Jarlaxle!

I ordered the Homeland comics, and will buy Sojourn and Exile once they have them all together....
I don't think I've read that one I'll have to go look for it... *sigh* but the place where I got all my Forgotten Realms books doesn't sell books at all anymore, though I've read two or three about Artemis and Jarlaxle's adventures before the Witch King thing (that is the name isn't it?)
