i'm korean but i get mistakened for being chinese or hispanic
usually only other asians can tell i'm korean :]

i get called chinese all the time. very common since im filipino.

Well that happenned to me too ~
I'm Thai but ppl always think I'm Chinese or Korean but when I told them I'm Thai they will be like.... eh Taiwanese ?

Nobody ever thinks I am Indian except for the other Indians at my school and there aren't really that many. And people only know I am Chinese when I study JAPANESE kanji and it kind of annoys me even though I am Chinese because it's a stereotype. "Oh, that's Chinese isn't it?!! You must be Chinese then!" I just hate the stereotypes.

Im mixed White/thai and people always think im hispanic. I work at Pizza hut and whenever someone comes in to order they say do you speak spanish.

there are other asians that don't even know what i am ... i'm vietnamese .. and they think i'm cambodian or when they see me with my mom ( she looks chinese) .. they start talking cambodian to us or chinese.. and i have no idea what they they're saying... it drives me nuts !! stressed

Aquamarina13 People think Asian girls are nice, quiet, and smart. In this case, it's true about me, but they shouldn't just assume things. thats what some people think of me until until they ask for something and i deny them ...im not the giving kind of person let alone nice twisted lol

and yet i still get classfied chinese at times.

that doesnt really happen with me at school cuz the majority of the student body race is flip. so yeah. but outside school, like if i go to a new town, i get called things from other races.

yeh i get that sometimes, and it's realli annoying, the other day this group of guy went up to me and my friends and asked us if we were chinks or korean or japs or philo or thai or lao, everything cept viet. so we laughed at them and walked off, but we told em that we were viet. i hate it when ppl think that ur a c***k and start trying to speak it. gosh that gets on my nerves. but it's realli funny when u tell em that ur not chinese blaugh ohhh do they ever get embarassed in front of so many ppl blaugh but i still hate it.
