Contest Suggestions: Anagrams, Avatar, Homes, Short Story, Find a pic somewhere in forums, Mystery Pic, umm thats all I can think of right now.

Edit: Oh and Dream Avatar and Dream Home for peeps who havent gotten all the items they want for home/avatar.

Hmm... Well, this can make use of the Recycle Bin. One contest can be held at a time (excluding a "monthly contest" if that were to be done) in a sticky in the main forum. When that contest is over and done with it gets moved to the RB and a new one may be put up.
This way, everyone can tell which contest is current and there can be little clutter on the main forum without taking up unnecesary space in its own subforum.
Does that sound alright? I may need to clarify, as I'm typing at 3am xp

Might I suggest a "[review]" prefix option for the Library? Maybe shorten it to "[R]"? The Book title (or perhaps film, or music disk, as it were) would be placed after it and people can post their review of the... topic, one after another and discuss it in the thread.

As long as the forums are in use, I don't think that any of them should go.
You can't delete forums, anyway, can you? Only change and rename them.

What did you have in mind for the homepage? It's a bit chaotic. sweatdrop
An imagemap or set of snazzy images that led to different forums within the guild. The images would be rather small, or at least much smaller in comparison to the current image.
I'm not sure about color scheme... originially I had thought red with gold accents, but I'm not sure how well that fits the friendly tone of the guild. It's pretty but to me it gives the impression of rigidity. I'm open to suggestions.
I also have an idea to use a mouse over feature. When you place your mouse over a button (or a spot on the image map, but I'm honestly not sure if it'll work if I use an image map, because out of my entire HTML class, image maping was the only thing I practically failed at) an image below it would appear with a description of that specific forum (I'm thinking a simple white background with black text), which may go back to white when the mouse isn't over anything, or perhaps the latest thing going on in the guild.
This would take a bit of work, but I'm willing to try it. :3

If you made an image map you would have to make the links "open in same window" or else it would drive people insane. I know how to do that with HTML but not with BBC.

That sounds right. The point of the recycle bin is to hold important threads (like contests and decision-making threads) for later review to see what happened/how things went/how to make it better. I've decided that all contests will go in the Chatterbox subforum as stickies. >.< Unless..

I made the imagemap in Morgane's siggy. So I know that i can make them. I'm not sure about what else you are talking about though... sweatdrop

Edit: For now these are the contests I'll be doing: Poetry, Art, Anagrams, Mystery Pic, Short Story, and Avatar... Unless someone else wants to host one of them, then just let me know so we won't end up with 2 of the same contest.

That sounds alright, the contests going in the CB.
I think we should have a general announcement thread, though, for the main forum. The title can change as needed, and the first post could look something like this:

New:
(Newsletter)
(Contest)
(Other)... etc

Previous Announcement:
(Old newsletter)
(Old contest)
(Old other)... etc


And so on

That way the new things will be listed first, rather than someone having to go looking for the last post to find out exactly what's new.
The Previous Announcement posts would be a smaller size for space.
