KiraLight okay, I know how to pronounce it..but when I was reading New Moon, I pronounced it car-lis-le.. bah, whatever
Btw..I *so* want to steal your moon..My life would be complete..O.O It's like..a New Moon..-gonks head on desk- Then again, I've always wanted that..xD

Before I knew how to pronounce it, I would just skim over his name with random consonants and vowels sweatdrop
When I figured out how to pronounce it I had trouble reminding myself that it wasn't "Carl...shmigennlasfigro" sweatdrop

Heh...I just asked my mom (english teacher) how to pronounce it...
You say it like 'Car-lyle' or something. It's Scottish^^ Also spelled, Carlysle sometimes.
I dunno.
Whenever I would read the book, I just gave him a different name... I think I used to just think 'Charlie.' It was so much easier.

I used to pronounce it CAR-LEEZEL (don't ask) and then my frined corrected me and now I call him Car-lyle

i was reading a part with Carlisle in it and-
me: carl-el-el-s, carliceles
friend:dont hurt yourself
me:sh, im going to get this! carlis-is-ing
friend: seriously dont hurt yourself
me:SH! carliceles, carlcake, carling
friend: what? just call him Dr. Cullen
me: oh, okay.
yeah, so now he is Dr. Cullen!!
