A cruel ambush...
I don't think I'll ever be able to enjoy an oreo cookie quite the same way after today. When Grey wanted to introduce me to some other Audios, I didn't expect having a box of cookies shoved at me and then getting tackled to the ground. I honestly thought I was about to die right there. He just came out of nowhere chattering about cookies and knocked me to the ground before I could react, and I have no idea what would have happened if I hadn't thrown the box at him.
Anyway, he seemed happy enough with the cookies, which pleased me to no end. I still don't think my heart rate is back to normal. It didn't help that I got winked at right after by a girl, one of two who may or may not have been watching the cookie incident. ._. Sometime I would like my brain not to shut down when I meet new people.

A slight push...
I found myself pushed into being social again today. Although I don't feel like I gained much through the interraction, I did learn that I won't be killed and eaten if I don't have cookies for Demyx. But it wouldn't hurt to have some on hand.
It's probably safer for that Audio to take cookies from me instead of strangers... ._.

An awkward run in...
I really need to remember to watch where I'm going when I'm reading. Today was rather embarassing, I ended up running right into another Audio out on the shop grounds, but he was real nice about it and didn't act offended or anything. Ukitake was who he introduced himself as.
Although the situation was a bit embarassing, I'm glad I, uhm, ran into him. ^_^;

Social decisions...
I met Ukitake again today, he was sitting with another Audio named Guide. Unfortunatly he asked what I was reading, and I swear I will never ever talk about what I'm reading again, I don't believe they understood a single word. ._. They were pretty nice about it though.
Guide fell asleep later, it was a nice day so I don't blame him. Ukitake and I had a nice talk about music, he's pretty amazing at playing a guitar. The conversation went from music, to books, and then to blowing up kitchens. I thought I had slipped again when I mentioned that incident with the healing spell gone wrong, but he seemed to find it amusing.

On Weaknesses...
It's hard sometimes, there's so much I can heal, but there's so much I can't do a thing about. Ukitake's weakness is a respiratory illness, and my own weakness is blood.
Try as I might, I can't think of a way to get rid of either of those.

Never study in a busy room...
I think next time I really need to get some reading done, I'll have to find a quieter place to sit. Not that I minded the interruption this time, it was another Audio who was interested in what I was reading. I didn't get his name, but he seemed to know a bit about magic. And wasn't frightened off or awkward when I told him what I was reading.
It was an unusual encounter, but I wouldn't mind talking to him again sometime.

Magic talks...
I ran into Charlie again today, he was the Audio I met who was interested in magic. He had a little spell his brother in law had given him, a second-order incantation, and was interested in learning how to pronounce it, but still pretty determined to work it out on his own.
He said something about his brother in law that reminded me of my first magic professor, and found it amusing that I've had large writing desks thrown at me. Apparently Merlin, his brother in law, was likely to do the same thing with whatever was on hand.
We had a bit of a talk about swimming, and when he commented that I didn't seem like much of an outdoors type, I quickly agreed with him. But it reminded me that I have lots of important things to get done, and perhaps if I can manage to learn everything I need to learn, then neglecting other aspects of my life will be well worth it.

Missing...
I can't believe I lost my book today, somehow I left it in the kitchen and wandered off without it. I was really lucky I ran into an Audio who knew where to find it, she was really nice. Morganna was her name, but she wasn't wearing her headphones and seemed a little uncomfortable about her appearance when she got them back. I don't think it will be that bad, and besides, it's not like her personality will completely change with her appearance.
Morganna had a friend appear, Saige, and they talked a bit about the headphones she was expecting soon. After Saige left we talked for a bit more, and Morganna sounded real sad about getting her colours back.
I would have liked to stay and talk longer, but I forgot to meet Grey at the library and had to run, as it was I almost missed the bus.

A little thundercloud...
I talked with Charlie again today, and he showed me a wonderful spell he was working on. So far it's just a little cloud, but I'm really excited to see how good he gets after practicing it some more. We didn't talk long, since he had to go looking for someone. I hope I run into him again sometime, so he can show me that spell again.

Practice, practice, practice...
I dropped a couch today, in front of an Audio I hadn't met before. She was pretty nice though, and really interested in the couch once I got it floating again. I think she said her name was Charl, she really seemed to enjoy the novelty of sitting on a floating couch.
We had a short talk, but then she had to leave, and I really had to concentrate more on my practice. I wouldn't want to drop the couch the next time someone startles me.

All in a day's work...
I met Morganna again today, she wasn't feeling so good. It turns out she had fallen and hit her head, but when I probed the injury, it was really unusual. I've never even heard of that kind of injury being accompanied by so much blood. I asked her about it, and she explained that bleeding was part of the way she was naturally. It's likely that accounts for the abnormal damage.
She was real pleased when I healed the injury, she even hugged me. Which I'm afraid to say I didn't handle so well. ._.'' But she didn't seem to notice me blushing, which was good. After we went to the kitchen for tea, she had me heal her boyfriend's ankle.
There was a bit of a confrontation after that, it had me rather frightened. Another Audio named Keme rushed in, and I thought he and Goyjo would start trying to beat each other up or something. Luckily things settled down before I went back to my studying.

Enthusiasm abounds...
I ran into Morganna in the hall today, and she introduced me to her sister Miranda. I was, uhm, stunned, for the lack of a better word, I don't think I've ever met someone as enthusiastic. It was rather embarassing, I really wish I was better at meeting people.
Miranda asked all sorts of questions about the book I had, said my glasses were cute, and then seemed really eager to see some of my magic. Then she said I was amazing when I showed her a simple float spell. I can't remember the last time I blushed so much in one day.

Bad hair day...
I've never encountered a spell quite like this one before, that has such a dramatically different effect on living organisms compared to dead or inorganic material.
Luckily the only Audio I ran into was Miranda, and she seemed to like my colour-changing hair. After we talked for a bit she ran out so I could show her a floating couch. I still don't think I'll ever get used to how much she compliments me, I don't think I've ever had so much praise.
She decided she wanted to become a chef, and I felt happy for her. She wanted to prove that she could take up something serious as a hobby, and I'm sure she could learn so fast with all that enthusiasm she has. I think I envy her for that.
Later I met a human who was really interested in magic, but convinced she wouldn't be able to learn any herself. I don't know how it works in humans, but hopefully she'll be able to make it work out.
I also talked with Ukitake a bit, he almost didn't recognise me with my hair being all weird. He gave me some things to think about though, which might help me get this spell all worked out.

A sneak attack...
I don't think I've ever felt so embarassed, I fell asleep on the bench outside the shop while I was studying, and ended up drooling all over my hand. That in itself wouldn't have been so bad if another Audio hadn't decided to approach and wake me up.
Rikku, she said her name was, was somewhat interested in what I was reading, and the shield spell I used when I woke up before I realized she wasn't going to hurt me. I'm afraid things got real confusing in a hurry, another Audio named Naruto, Miranda's brother, told me that she was talking about me, and Rikku called me a sweetie. I don't know if I could have handled all that at once even if I had been completely awake at the time.
Apparently Rikku knows some magic herself, she used an interesting spell she called Haste to have Naruto bring Miranda over so we could try her cooking. When she got there I was a little afraid, since she wanted me to try it first and everyone was staring, but it was really good. Then I got hugged again.
I couldn't stay and talk with them longer, as I promised Grey we would go look at kitchen counters, so we could get the scorched ones replaced.
