I've had glasses forever, got 'em back in fourth grade. Even then I played with my dad's NES. Now I have contacts and I wear my glasses if the contacts are bothering me or I'm going to sleep.

Stupid Pokemon.....my first game ever and I played it everyday after-school. That's when I got my eyes problems. D: Oh, plus T.V.

I used to have pretty good eye sight. But computer and video games changed all that of course. So I just recently went to the eye doctor to get glasses. But old habits die hard, I guess. I never wear the glasses and I just end up sitting 6 inches from the screen.

I have glasses and contacts. Contacts for outdoor stuff (afraid of things hitting me in the face when I play sports) and glasses for when I'm at home staring at a screen. The funny thing though, I got my bad eyesight from reading in the dark, not from videogames.

I've worn glasses since I was 5 or 6. I'm far-sighted, but I can see fine without them. But, alas, I've grown attached to them. blaugh

It seemes that we get eye problems when we're gaming too much because we keep our eyes open for a long time without blinking. Or even sitting at the computer for a long time will even screw your eyes up. I can't read books for a very long period of time these days. After 5 chapters, I get annoyed from a blur.

When did I get glasses? Sometime in middle school I think. I don't know whether or not it was because I read or played video games so much. I think partly it was a self-fulfilling prophecy. When I was little my sister & I always played Teenage-Mutant Ninja Trutles. She would always be April & I was always the geeky brown-haired girl with glasses that has no fashion sense. I now fit that description perfectly, except I usually wear contacts.

I developed eye problems growing up, but it wasn't from gaming - actually from reading too much in low light. Oh well...
