i find
f*****t and
dyke offensive.
to me it has the same implications a calling an african american a
******....dont like that word either
Well, I'd send them to read and listen carefully to
The f*****t in You and
****** from Clawfinger. I love those songs, they are so direct and address it perfectly.
About Dykes, did you know that there are quite some groups like "Dykes on Bikes" that use the term with pride? Fight them back with their own problems.
That said, yes, it turns me into rage when people use the phrase "that's gay" as if it would the
teh negative word in itself. I usually rant at them and ask what's it supposed to mean and that I don't find anything gay with it, pretending to be utterly puzzled. After a while, when they noticed that I'm to some degree gay myself they start to stutter and don't know what to say anymore, it's funny to watch them looking for words to add.
blaugh Edit: Well, I think I need to add what really puts me off: People putting other into boxes. And it doesn't matter in what way. "That's not normal", "But everyone is liking that!", whatever. It is so disgusting. We are all
individuals, not one just like the others!! You can't judge a person by someone else who was wearing the same shirt, or the hair the same way, or had the same skin colour, or was kissing a boy/girl, too. That's just sooo f*cking stupid, it makes me vomit and cry.
