Bakhti didn't move, she just stayed where she was ready to go the instant she knew where her daughter was. All she wanted was her daughter back home, thats all she had dreamt of for so long. Kib left her though and thats what tore Bakhti in two. Kib had left, it was different from Mbaya and Mbali leaving.. Kib was her sweet gentle baby and she got up and left.
There was more to the emotion the golden lioness was feeling, there was sorrow and sadness but even a pinch of hate and confusement along with other feelings she couldn't find names for. She just wanted her baby back.

The little juvenile nodded his head, as his little fluff was tossed to the other side of his face. Ravi replied, "Yea, the bad guys were the red pelts! They were mean and vicious and controlled much of the--" He was stopped as his mother brought her paw and dragged him close to her body. Golden eyes looked up at his mother questioningly, but then he realized he had said too much before gazing down at the ground.
Ears turned as Kirjava listened to her son talk, though the direction his speech was going was no good. Before he could say anymore, she brought her paw and wrapped it around his body, bring him close to her. She let out a small sigh before speaking, "I was supposed to tell you that Kiburi is fine and she still needs time to go exploring, but I couldn't lie to you any further. I hope she doesn't hate me for breaking her promise, but family is important." Crimson eyes looked at the pair, the mother seemed so heartbroken and so sad, it made her regret leaving without Ravi. "We were slaves to the Firekin. I was taken when I was about my son's age and have lived there up until now. There, I had met Kiburi and we became fast close friends. It was like a blessing in disguise, I guess you could call it, because we helped eachother with food and such. But, when Ravi was starting to grow, Kiburi came to me and told me I had to leave. I refused to leave without her, I couldn't leave my sister behind, but she told me I was being selfish. That I had to think of my son and raising him here wasn't a good place," She paused briefly, "So, she helped us escape and I vowed to find her parents. Ravi and I, we vowed to get her out of that place. And, she spoke of another lion there that she was friends with, I think she said his name was Zenoni or something similiar..."

Mahiris brow furrowed at Ravis speech. Red pelts. He had heard of such lions before, or had he? Mean and vicious. He supressed a snarl. hoping they hadn't so much as touched his daughter.
At Kirjava went on, his angered face fell, eyes looking hollow and his expression meaningless. Slaves. Kiburi had been captured. All she had ever wanted was her freedom and now she was denied of any! His anger returned. He'd find these Firekin, and he'd find his Kiburi!
However he gave a sad smile as he heard of Kiburis suggestion to the lioness. She had always been so kindhearted and she'd even helped Kirjava to escape... Determination rose within him. He didn't care how long it took or how far he'd have to travel. He would find her. His eyes watched Bakhti closely. They would find her...
And the nerve of those lions, snatching wandering cubs and juveniles. He almost shuddered. Zenoni. A name he found somewhat familiar, an ex-member of the pride, a cub from Jasiri and Sukutus littler, if he remembered correctly. How could the population of the Pridelands dwindle to accompany those vulgar red-pelted lions?! Mahiri was not one to become easily angered, but when someone threatened and captured their daughter and stripped her of his freedom, he felt anger bubble inside his very being.
Scarlet eyes almost ablaze, he turned to Bakhti, face set in stone. "We need to find her..." Quickly, he thanked Kirjava. "Thankyou... But one question ,where is she now?"

Bakhti looked scared suddenly, she knew of the firekins, she had been a rouge and stories fly.
She stood and shook herself before looking out. "Thank you for telling us. Please, go to the king of these lands, Mufasa, or his mate Sarabi. Either one will do. Tell them of Kiburi and Zenoni. I know I recognise that name... why though I can't remember but I am sure he is a pridelander." She paused and took a breath before looking at Mahiri. "Darling, stay here with this lioness, get her food and things she needs while she rests. I am going to find Kib." Before Mahiri could say no and in her weak state she rushed off. She had to find her daughter.

Crimson eyes looked to Mahiri before Kirjava replied, "We shared a den somewhere close to the border, if anything, she should be around there. We were never allowed close to the Firekin pride, so anywhere along the edges of the sands would be your best bet." As Bakhti told her about going off to find her daughter, and to warn her against it, the golden lioness had already fled. A sigh heaved from within as she gazed back at her son then to Mahiri, "I couldn't lie about our state and it was the least I could do. I would love to be with Kiburi again. I wouldn't want to trespass on your time. I guess I should tell your King and Queen..." Her voice trailed off quietly at the thought of meeting the King and/or Queen of this pride. Ever since her encounter with the Firekin, she was a bit weary, but they seemed to be trustworthy at least.
Ravi stayed quiet for the time being. The two lions, his Auntie Kiburi's parents were startled. His golden eyes shifted between Mahiri and Bakhti before the latter ran off. He jumped to his paws, "Mommy...is she going to find Auntie Kiburi? I should be finding Auntie Kiburi like I told her I would!" He felt his mother's tongue brush against his cheek as he quieted down, there was nothing to do at the moment.
