*Eyes sparkling, and being no fool, Brisingr drops down, spinning, and comes around, throwing a rock spinning incredibly fast at Elizabeth's leg*
Though I may have mastered my impulses, I still do tend to retaliate, young one. And trying to learn my moves before it is your time can be dangerous.

*The rock hits Beth's leg with force.* OW! *She drops to the ground, nearly brought to tears, but not wanting to show weakness.* I think I understand...

Do you, young one? Do you indeed? Very well, you have passed though a few of my lessons. Now it is time for a test. First, you must follow me as fast as you can, hit only the targets that I do along the way, and when you reach where I stop, you must fight me, and show me what you've learned. Ready? Good. Go!
*crouches, and jumps up, grabbing a thick branch, swings up, and stands on a branch above, waiting for her to begin to follow*

*Beth wanted to roll her eyes and mumble 'show off' but she knew that it would be even harder for her if she did. She akwardly climbs up onto the branch, waiting for her teacher to begin*

*Brisingr leaps from branch to branch with effortless grace, and punches a trunk here and there, mysteriously leaving outlines of his fist in a white light line, and then continues on along the branches, calling back, "Balance is key! Do not rely upon what you are used to on the ground! Bend when the need arises!"*

*Beth tries to leap to the next branch, but falls back to the ground, landing on her feet, then falling on her behind.* Grrr. *Beth gets back up and climbs back onto the branch, she loses her balance and falls again, this time catching the next branch with her hands therefore not falling all the way to the ground. Beth smirks, perfect. She decides to monkey-bar it across, it would be much eaiser. She knew she would never hit any of the targets this way, but at least she'd make it across to the other side..*

*Sends spinning rocks speeding crisscrossing throughout everywhere beneath the branches, so she has the choice of either monkey-baring it AND dodging the rocks, or going as he suggested*

*Beth tried to dodge a few, but ended up getting hit on her hand with one, forcing her to drop down again. She rolled her eyes and climbed back up on the branch, on top of it this time. She had a hard time trying to balance herself, but soon got the hang of it and leaped to the next branch, not quite gracefully, but it was the best she could do.*

*Brisingr waits calmly at the flat landing where they shall fight, almost rattled by how fast Elizabeth is progressing, and decides it is time to REALLY determine her skill level*

*Beth shakily makes her way to the landing, branch by branch. She takes her time so she doesn't fall, and because she doesn't look forward to the fight at all. Finally, she makes it to the last branch and jumps down to the landing.*

*Beth dodges the punch, she does not want to fight her teacher, but now it seemed she had no choice in the matter, it was either fight back, or get clobbered. She ducked down to dodge the punch, positioned like a frog, she leaps with all of her strength towards her teacher, in an attempt to knock him over.*

*Brisingr is surprised by this strategy, and even gets hit by it at first. It is only with quick thinking that he does a back flip, attemping to clip her with a weak kick as he flips(

*His foot painfully connected with Beth's shoulder. She was taken aback that he had hurt her, though it was obvious he was only toying with her, and not really even trying.*

*Brisingr lands a bit off balance, and barely stays standing for a second, and then gets back into a stance, then lowers down, and trys to sweep his leg around to sweep her, but is going slow, because he's still rattled by that last move*
