Tifa. Oooh, definitely Tifa. I'm with ^Na-mi-ne^ in being a big CloudxTifa fan...so, yeah, no liking Aeris for me. I mean, she's cute...but Tifa is...well...(I want to say hot, but that's not the reason why I like her so much...I hope...) She could kick Aeris' butt. I think Tifa, over all, is just a cooler character than Aeris. That, and when Aeris dies, she screws you over in the game, especially if you're like one of my friends who didn't know she died...yeah...she wasn't very happy...

Fire Dragon Makotoe Aeris was good as a healer(one of the reasons i always had her in my party), but Tifa is good all round. She can kick Aeris all the way back to Midgar if she wanted to. i'm gonna have to say tifa, and person i quated, if you keep aeris in your team throuout all of disk 1, dont let her die and completly nice to her theres a glitch in the first 100 games of ff7 i heard about in which when aeris is killed theres this code you can do so later on you can revive her, you must also do this in her garden at her house and you must get the underwater materia (alot of work for one super magic user but it gives you more people to fight with against sephy later. i know its true because my brothers friend is in disk 3 and he has aeris on his team (he got lucky and got a glitched one)

and like i said above i vote tifa only because you can make her magic lover or brutel force. really if you all wanna be weird and base it on who should be with cloud, i'd have to say aeris....no offence to the cloudxtifa people but if tifa got with cloud, cloud would have noone to save all the time, now aerisxcloud would be:
aeris: help cloud
cloud: *saves aeris*
*3 minutes later*
aeris: save me cloud!!!!!
cloud: *saves her for the 100th time in the past 2 hrs.*
cloudxtifa would be:
Tifa: *gets in danger* get the heck away evil one *beats up person for the 100th time in 2hrs, leaving cloud with nothing to do but sit at home hoping don cornio hasnt actually raped tifa*

Aeris is the best in my veiw. Although Tifa as strenght, Aeris' strenght is that she can heal, so if you have her in a party she can just heal, also personality wise she is great in my opion I have been told I am like her in someways, mostly the way she cares about what is happening to the world, I also love the playful nature she as towards cloud. But I am against CloudxAeris as I much perfer AerisXZach.
@ tsuki no kage uta hmm but didn't Aeris actually go off to the Forgotten City, and got slayed by Sephiroth to save them... She doesn't always ask for help and although physically she may be weak she is emtionally very stronge....

I really like them both, but I would have to say Tifa. I like Yuffie better than noth of them, though.

aeris is a noob...i hate when you gat a character and there only good for healing...any ways i fight till im dead and use the weaker characters to heal...
