there's the thing on the disc that explains the events on FF7 (or reshow them, whatever).
Anyhow, the graphics are stunning and I really like how they've done the action in it. The story could be better though, but it's a fun movie to watch anyway!

`Hydro Nah. I think you'll appreciate it more if you've played the game or know more about it, but its still an awesome movie if you don't know the background story. After all, it wasn't until the end of the movie until it hit me about where Cloud is standing at the beginning with the sword.... xp yea i havent played the game yet. but i still enjoyed the movie

I watched it in Japanese, then in English, and I hate the English version. It made me want to cry crying
I watched the movie with a bunch of people who had never played Final Fantasy 7 before, and I wanted to kill all of them. They were like....cheering for the death of Aeris and Sephiroth being the bad guy. Sure Sephiroth is a cool enemy, but not understanding the meaning of Aeris and then cheering on about her death? Big no no. I almost cried because of what they were doing.

It's not nearly as good as the hype makes it out to be. Visually interesting, but the storyline is meh, at best.

I love FF7: Advent Children its such a great movie ( heart Kadaj Yazoo Fan-girl here! heart ) I just bought the DVD a couple of days ago wink

daft alchemist Advent Children is so amazingly awesome, I watched it four times in one day. xd Once in my dorm, once with my boyfriend, once with my boyfriend and his sister after she got home, and once with my sister. The graphics are so beautiful it almost makes me want to cry. Vincent is so badass, and I never liked Tifa until I saw the movie. In fact, all of the characters I hated were much cooler in the movie. Not only that, but Marlene played a pretty decent part, and that made me happy. She's so adorable. 4laugh Four times?! I mean, it's good, but doesn't it get repetitive? I saw in original Jap, and it was cool. It may just be me, but I can't watch a movie more than once in 3 days.

Advent Children was awesome, beyond a doubt. I've never actually played the game but I watched my friend play most of it. In fact, she was the one who got the movie and I saw it at her house.
One thing about it that is completely and utterly awesome is Vincent's entrance. It's so cool!!! I love him and his cloak! 4laugh I'm a Vincent fangirl right here.
Yeah, there isn't much to the storyline which made it sort of feel like a short movie, but I think the sweet battles they have more than make up for that.
I give the movie 5 kick-a** battles out of 5.

Kiarraninja13 Ok, I saw it on the Ultra Voilit Dvd & it had a preview for a movie for FF7? neutral confused It could be a re-make of the game,not totaly sure but that what it said. It does have the graphics from the FF games. It has Cloud, Leon & the gang. Now this is really debatable. The movie is a few years after the end of the game.

I had to read subtitles the whole time I was watching it.. So it kind of was... annoying -_-; It also felt like it was shortish. I loved the graphics though.. they rocked.
