Ala grinned as she continued to pet the sheep near her, then nearly jumped when Talia came closer and started petting the koala's arm. The girl giggled. "See? Me feel almost same."
Niki chuckled a bit at the two girls.

Talia's smile returned immediatly, nodding in agreement. She did feel the same! How amazing, the cuttlefish child thought to herself.
Talia took a few more moments to compare this textile resemblance, before a noise from the walkie talkie at her hip broke in. "Talia, you need to come in, it's getting late." The voice of the head of D-corp instructed, in a much softer way than he instructed anyone else around the building.
Talia gave it a small frown, not replying for the moment, before the voice came back "Talia...?" It asked, in a dangerous tone. The kind of danger that meant toys might be restricted and bedtime early that night. "Yes." she quickly forced from her lips into the receptor end of the device, shifting colors momentarily to a softer shade. So she turned her attention to her new friend, waving with a small pout. "Byee~" she announced, before hurrying towards the building lest she get in trouble.

Alaqua frowned as the other girl had to leave. "Bye..." she said, a bit sad. She still wanted to know how the girl could change the color of her skin.
Niki waited long enough to make sure that the girl actually did get inside before taking her own daughter's hand. "C'mon, Ala. Time to go home." What had seemed like it would be a short trip to D-corp had turned into an almost all-day ordeal.
