Jaser motions have quickened as he became more self aware of what season he really was. He seemed to figure that his fear of water was founded and that he didn't need to explain it to anyone. He also figured out that he was very fond of the sun.
At one point he thought himself cat like as he had seen the cats outside sunbathing but run and hide when the water came. He tried to identify himself with someone, anything at the very least something that he could understand.
Xee was not like him and she often was seen taking a bath or shower and then she would become dry afterwards but would not allow him near any of that water. She also wouldn't allow him outside in the rain with out covering him with rubber and carrying an unbrella with her as she followed him around, though she was fine getting wet. This was very confusing him very much.
Also there was this thing with what she called the wind, he was very excited by that and enjoyed it but she spent much of her time cursing and trying to run around catching her papers when she was outside. He just seemed to dance on the breeze, moving in a manner similar to a tornado, dirt devils is what Xee called them but why they were devils was beyond him as they did nothing wrong. He loved the wind, she actually had to put a fan in his room so he could feel the wind on him all the time.
So as he sat at the wind watching as the sun came out to play he wondered what it was he was. He knew that Xee had explained all these things to him but it wasn't what he thought it was at least he was not sure what she meant or anything that followed her explanantions. She knew she wasn't great at explaining anything to him, at least he knew she was confused as much as him.
But... his grin showed all the teeth he had and reflected in the window. She was trying and at least that meant something to him, right? His smile faded as he tried to figure that out. Yes, it did, she was there for him and did everything for him even if that meant he be punished for something he did wrong... though that wasn't fair to him but she would do it anyway. He needed to learn.
He had started to form words from what she had taught him and with help of Xee he could actually write in a manner. He would run in the ink she had set up and form words. This was a way she could understand him when he didn't feel like talking though she would have to rub his feet afterwards because he would stain himself.
