Yeah, I'd probably have a period of loving the movie that would slowly turn into hatred as I realized that they turned it into a bad, most likely inaccurate movie. Chances are I'd see it anyway.

I never wanted Twilight to become a movie.
I thought everyone wanted one since there were so many role casting threads, so I didn't say anything. xp
It would butcher it and I don't really like a huge fan-base for Twilight because it would kind of be like good bands that become mainstream, and then all of a sudden, fans love them just because everyone else does.

and they better get a good edward mad
but i do agree with you. it would totally butcher the book and people would fall in love with edward without even reading the book or knowing the story period.

As long as the actors are good, I dont' really care
seeing a bad movie won't change my opinion of the book
but if the actor doesn't really match the description, then I'll always have that face in my head when I'm reading the book

I agree Twilight should not be made into a movie, it would completely suck. And I'd also rather not see a whole bunch of people see the movie and then become Twilight fans. If you haven't read the book first, back off. That's probably not nice, but we don't need a huge amount of fans over the movie. But I'd probably see it anyway.

Sigh, yeah, though I really don't want Twilight to be made into a movie because they will probably butcher the story and characters, there is no way that I will miss watching it. Anyone I take with me to see the movie though when it comes out will have HAD to have read the book. I despise it when people call themselves "fans" after only watching the movie (HARRY POTTER!). Everyone knows the books are always better.

I mean I read Twilight about 1-2 years ago and fell in love with it, and when she'll read it she'll act so snobby, (you should see it with Harry Potter and Tithe, I read them first and she found out and started reading it too and acted so annoying.)
And the only reason she found out is because she heard the MTV is making a movie of it.
I liked this book because it was special and she never read it. Now it'll change and I'll have a sinking feeling every time she'll rant about it.
