DarklingGlory Threx DarklingGlory Well said 3nodding Tho I'm thinkin of starting a "sparring club" for me and some friends. A bunch of us getting together for scraps. Light contact and full contact. Grappling and weapons. Gonna do the lot. Should be fun, and I'm reasonably confident I have the experience to do it safely. But there wont be insurance so everybody is going to have to do it at their own risk. Insurance costs waaayy to much and luckily enough we dont have any nutters involved... well not to nutty anyways And remember, no one under 18, as parants would get involved if the worst should happen, or even just a broken arm. Sad times we live in. sad The only under 18 we have currently can give as good as she gets and I doubt she'd sue... well maybe not. If the worst comes to the worst everybody will have to sign disclaimers saying they are participating at their own risk. Not a big problem Im not worried about participents sueing. Im more concerned about parants!

There will definately not be any people below 17. At that age they can legally sign their own disclaimers 3nodding

DarklingGlory Marty Nozz I swear. You kids nowadays. There's a well established and LEGAL MMA circuit in this country. The UFC is the main headliner here in the states, but there are licenced matches that go on everywhere. Take it from a former bouncer, you want to keep it a ring. I don't have a problem with you guys getting together for some quality beatings, hell, I'll sell the popcorn, but I don't want you guys don't anything that'll get you trouble. The only worst thing that ever happen was when two of my friends were fighting( Both of them don't know any martial arts or things like that) one of them fliped the guy to the ground and the guy broke his arm. When he landed he landed on his arm and broke it, we then had to drove him to the hopistal. But its all good now he is ok now and does't hate us.

God, you guys have no idea how much I want to get a bunch of guys together up here in Manitoba. Most of my friends are either fat and lazy, just new in martial arts, or are just plain uninterested in practicing.

I may only be 15 but I've been around the block (well maybe up the street). I have fight some pretty big guys and some pretty experianced guys. I have yet to lose also. But then agian most have been agianst Karate people, which no offense but I really don't like Karate, even though I'm in it, but I'm also in Kung-Fu and Capoeira so I can pretty much mix it up pretty well. But I live in Indiana which is a huge crop field.
