I'll use mine, which I actually said out loud as I walked offstage during an unplugged concert:
"I SUCK!!!"
At least I was honest. xd

My excuse is simply, "I suck." Truthfully, not saying that to have people contradict me and tell me how awesome I am.... I suck, and I know it. That's why I practice =D
I don't think I've heard many excuses. Oh, except my brother (but he's a drummer): "I don't like people hearing me play." or "I don't have earplugs and it'll damage my hearing."

"I lost my tuner" my friend's excuse for her lack of practicing for two weeks. then i came over and tuned it for her...so she had to....
"I can't find my pick!" Used when my annoying grandmother kept on bugging me to play something for her. The pick is bright neon green.
"I'm not in the zone right now/My amps not fast enough!" I was just angry and kept hitting all the wrong strings, the second excuse was real though...

"I lost all my picks." (this happens to me a lot) "I had to baby-sit all weekend and couldn't practice." (My little sister IS a handful) "I got angry because I couldn't play this riff right and threw my guitar out the window." (I got damn close once... a story for another time, children!)

Sachi_x My excuse is simply, "I suck." Truthfully, not saying that to have people contradict me and tell me how awesome I am.... I suck, and I know it. That's why I practice =D And, that's, of course, a common excuse with me, too.
