Blind Insight Thanks you guys. I recently found where I am probably going to have my reception and ceremony. 300$ woo-hoo! Which means I can afford it lol. It's going to be great! xd Make sure you take plenty of pics and then share them with us! 3nodding

Sometimes it seems like it's going to be forever till the big day, and sometimes it seems like it's rushing up all at once at me! It's getting better though since my Mom has started helping out with some of the planning. I didn't have a wedding...we just went to a lawyer/justice of the peace, brought a witness and signed a piece of paper whee I'm not one for all of the work one has to deal with in planning a wedding, can't be bothered, and Dave didn't care which way he got married, he just wanted to be married, period lol . But I always love to hear of stories of people getting married in a big church, it's so romantic 4laugh heart It's nice to see two people wanting to spend the rest of their lives with one another...I've been married 7 years myself wink

That is an accomplishment! lol. It's hard to live with someone else in your space lol. I do love Jim though. He's worth all this bother. He wants a ceremony, and I do too... in a way but I was about ready to call it quits and just go to the courthouse myself lol.

the dancing kitten I happen to think this one would look cute on you... I personally like number 8, but I think you would probably look the best in number 3 or those princess dresses..........good luck on choosing, but take you time when you try them on, cause you dont want to go for the first one you like, try them ALL on then get the one you like the best

Actually, the two Tessie suggestion probably would be your best bet. The bell sleeves are flattering on anyone, and tend to make your arms look longer and slimmer, the Sweetheart neckline makes the neck look slimmer and balances wide shoulders smile Also, the Princess cut waists with fuller skirts give the illusion of an hourglass figure and make the waist look smaller.
When I got married a couple years ago, I had my dress custom made for me since I had stopped sewing quite awhile before that. The lady who did mine has a website: www.darkcrystalclothing.com Mine is the Galadriel, made from rose patterned brocade with a vine embroidered sheer overlay... really pretty, and insanely inexpensive for the materials that were used!

And I still have no pictures. This shall have to be remedied with the handy dandy digital camera that my father has. Anyhow...
So I've been to like 5 different bridal stores. And honestly none of them impressed me save for one dress I found at David's bridal... go figure.. and it's strapless! lol. So maybe I'll end up getting a pretty embroidered strapless dress xd
