Somehow the look of the characters just seemed more real when they changed from their original look to the Reload look. Well, for Gojyo at least. He seemed to have the most dramatic change of all.

That's because the company changed. It was different people doing the animation for Reload then for the regular Saiyuki. They have a slightly different art style therefore the anime came out different.

Sanzoskitsune That's because the company changed. It was different people doing the animation for Reload then for the regular Saiyuki. They have a slightly different art style therefore the anime came out different. It wasn't just the anime though, it was the manga too. The anime was a bit more sudden and obvious, but the style changed in the manga as well, just gradually.

Oh well yeah of course the art style changed! Kazuya Minekura's style got better and better. She was improving. Artists have to improve they can't stay in the same ability forever they have to improve and get better over time which is just what she did. I love the way she improved her art style too, its amazing.

Definitely and if you read the manga little by little you barely notice. It's when you put her earlier work with her newest that you really see the difference and it's amazing. She draws the detail on hands and feet so well. I adore her art style.

You are so right on hands. Hands are hard. At least, that's what my aritistically inclined friends tell me.

Yeah that's what I heard too but Kazuya Minekura draws them so pretty. God I love her style.

And she's become quite the story-teller too. Going into the guys' pasts... I mean, whoa! eek
I think if we do spoilers we need to write them in white.

Tch its not like anyone is posting in here. I think the only ones we'd be spoiling it for is each other so it doesn't matter.

Yeah, well...
I do like to get stuff of Wikipedia too. That's where I learned a few neat facts about Jeep/Hakuryu that I probably already shared with you.

Yep you've shared them, I thought they were interesting too. I don't think I would have made that connection between Jeep and the guy in heaven on my own.
