I was with my friend and suddenly her dogs starting barking and ran to the bathroom for no apparent reason. We both agree her house is haunted.

My family used to live in a haunted house and my sisters cat would act like she was being petted when no one, alive, was anywhere near her. sometimes you could even see her fur move a little bit.

There were also times that the cat would go running around the house at full tilt and only stop if someone was staring at her and then se would stare at you. afew times she stopped and looked up into the face of noone.

I have had a experiance with a cockatiel. It was when I was in junior high my friend and I were playing a video game in the middle of that night around around 1 or 2 am and her bird started flipping out. Now grant you the bird had a cloth over its cage and there was nothing visible near the bird but it just started to freak out for no apparent reason. When we got up to investigate we started to move towards the bird when the vase on the shelf like two feet away from the bird just shattered where it was sitting on the shelf. Nothing struck it, it didnt fall it just shattered.

It was a interesting experiance to say the least because after the vase shattered the bird stopped freaking out.

So i definatly beleive animal's are sensitive to the supernatural in the same way they are sensitive to natural disasters.

Not to long ago I was listening to a CD (Brand new. Never even been opened for I used it) and the CD would get to a certain point of the song ("Thunderkiss 65") and it would start over. I would turn to look at it and see nothing wrong. I got tired of it so I skipped to the next song. The CD would the skip back to the song before it. No matter what I did the CD would skip to the song before it when I would skip to the next song. I was getting annoyed. So I yelled as loud as I could to leave the damn radio alone. I am not easily spooked and for the most part very calm even when it seems like something really bad is happening. I went to bed that night. My familier (Cat) Hannah didn't sleep with me that night. She slept with my mom. The next day I woke up with a terrible headache near the back of my bed. I was rubbing my head and I found a huge note on the back of my skull near my neck like someone had hit me. Whenever Hannah or Pippy (Dog) don't sleep with me I get really bothered. I wont sleep with out Hannah or Pippy in my room.

My lights like to go out on me a lot and it always bothers me. It's always when I'm watching something about the paranormal... and I usually run out of my room redface
Hey... thunderkiss 65... isn't that Rob Zombie? (or White Zombie..) confused

My cat, Jack, is my familiar no matter what I have to say in the matter. He's the stereotypical witch's cat; all black, big yellow eyes, and a bad attitude. I've noticed that whenever I do any kind of magic, he's always right there with me (even if he has to open doors to get there). Once when I was in bed and I got massive chills from some kind of malevolent spirit, he walked a circle three times around me, and it went away.

I live in a house with my mother. We have 4 cats and a bird. The 4 cats are a mother and 3 of her kittens. There is one Black with white cat among them and thats my cat, named Odin and he is my familiar. I've seen Odin do weird stuff alot, but the others also do surten things like chasing something and when you look what they are after, you don't see anything. My cat has the habit of jumping up a wall repeatly at surten hours of the day and the mothercat has the habit of looking out of the window on set times. Happens 4 times a day that we can actually see:

- Round 12pm
- Round 3pm
- Round 7pm and
- Round 1am

I've checked several times, but never saw something simullair to the time before. The bird we have, Guy, is mine and stands on my room. It happens almost daily that soon after I turned off the light, he suddenly begins to screech and fly trough his cage like crazy. Sometimes that gives me such a bad feeling, I hasten to turn on the light, but nothing is to see then and as soon as the light is on, Guy is sitting relaxed. Doesn't happen again after I tun off the light for the second time though.

Dogs and all animals have a heightened sense for paranormal things.
I'll give you an example...
This happened in my old house, and my dog Jewel wouldn't stop digging in one spot of the backyard.
We'd go out and find this hole in the same place as the time before. Jewel kept digging, finally one day I got the nerve to help her out.
While I was digging this hole with my hoe, she joined in to dig even more furiously at this thing.
Finally, we had gotten down to five feet before hitting bedrock, and what struck me was that there, in the ground poking out with the black sharp object.
I ran to get my mother and she grabbed the shovel. We cut out half of the thing and threw it away.

Later on, the darkness that had filled our house was gone, (that's another story), Jewel had stopped digging in the spot, however, the ground is still sunk in where it was.
We found out that it was a rotted, charred tree trunk as if it were in a huge bonfire. Our house rested on indian burial grounds, so, I figured that this thing wasn't in any way harmless.
So, thanks to my little dog, we were saved from something much larger than any thing we could understand.

We have a small piece of furniture in our apartment. It's a corner glass cupboard, that's behind the livingroom door, and it has the phone on it..
Inside my boyfriend keeps a pair of his african figurines, along with a dutch beer he has kept from his time fishing there..

One day I walked out the door, through the hall to the kitchen when it sounded like something hit the glass..
We both went to look, and saw one of the figurines standing with her face pressed against the glass door in the cupboard.. (they stand way back in the cupboard)
We thought it was weird, none of us had touched the door, or the cupboard..

Ever since, my dog Troy can sit and look at the cupboard for minutes, despite her lack of patience..

She looks over at the corner where I have my computer several times a day, and usually freaks out for no reason at all..
She runs around growling as if she wants to yell at something, but doesn't really know what it would be or where.

Cool stories guys whee , I really 'dug' the one about the dog finding buried stuff in the backyard. ( rofl rolleyes Yush, I'm a dork, now hush)

I'm noticing more and more the connection I have with my dog. He seems not only to know what I'm thinking, but to be able to project what he's thinking to me...

Examples?
1) I could be sitting here at the 'puter right now, thinking about if I should take him outside, no outward signs (at least nothing obvious), still just typing away, and he'll come running over and sit next to me, or obnoxiously beg for pets xd , cuz he knows.
2) He will be laying on the couch, curled into a ball, behind me so I can't even see him, when I'll suddenly feel and think really strongly "I need to take the dog out now" eek (Never fails, when this happens, when I get up to do it, he's all over and whining cuz he had to go so bad)

My cats, the bond is a little different. Cleo (the only girl, and the mother of the other 2) will sit in a non-obtrusive spot near me (meaning, I can't see her) and just stare at me until I pick her up. And I always do when she gives me this treatment, it's like a compulsion. Sometimes I'll just reach over and grab her without ever having seen where she was o.O.

The other 2, the boys. I can... sense their guilt when they are being naughty. (for lack of a better description) It can be dead silent, they could be in another room, and I'll just know. All I have to do is say "Hey" in a negative tone, and suddenly I'll hear dishes clinking and a jingly bell as they run from what they were doing rolleyes

I have to admit to something to, see if anyone else feels the same. Doesn't it hurt your feelings when some scary spirit or whatever is around and they just leave you with it? sweatdrop . Mine don't warn me or anything, stuff'll start happening, and I'll turn around and I'm suddenly by myself when not even 5 minutes ago there was a dog and 3 cats with me confused . Kind makes me feel abandoned sometimes...

I know what you mean. We trust our animals so much, they're always there for us, and then there is those few times when you're looking all around for your friend when you "feel" something dark and they're no where to be found! I admit I feel abandoned and hurt too, but then I remember, they probably know more about this than we could do and this is obviously one of those lessons we need to learn alone to make us stronger. Our friends are always with us in spirit and heart. heart

I've had a couple of animals who've obviously been tapped into the spiritual, most notably one pony who inexplicably starting acting very happy and running around 3 days after his stall mate died, and a dog who appeared in dreams to me several times in human form and who knew when he was going to die. My cats also seem to know about our "visitors" but don't pay them much mind.
