"Oi oi, I never said questins were a BAD thing," winked Laio. "And it is really nice. There's me, and my friends Sauda and Tomoyo, and Colche, those latter two are storytellers... I love listenin' to what they can tell us. Hey, if you have any stories of where you've been before here, or that you've heard, just tell them, and they can telle veryone else! That way everyone gets to know about all the lands around...
"And the boys, well, they're our main line of defense, and our border patrols. You lready met Uri, right? Well, every cheetah in this coalition watches out for the others, and they'll all watch out for you as long as you watch out for them, Kari." Her tone turned serious for a moment.

Kari fidgets again, now feeling bad that she misunderstood the ordeal with questions. But she's cheered up a bit by the fact that Laio doesn't seem to mind that she misunderstood, and she'll just have to be a little more careful.
She nods along with Laio's explanation of the other members, repeating the names she's told in her mind for later recall. Her mind wanders to where she's been, but she isn't sure anything that's happened to her would be good for storytelling. Her ears perk up when Laio suddenly sounds more serious, and then flicker a bit.
"I can do that," she says, her voice having no indication of any doubts she may have of what she's able to do, for she knows those are certainly not something Laio would want to hear, "I can, I'll do my very best!"

"I believe ya, Kari," and Laio rolled over a bit, four paws in the air for a moment as she stretched lazily. "And I'm glad. Any cheetah that's willing to do their best for this land is welcome, an' you sound like just the right kind." She flopped back to her side, and grinned tiredly. "So we'll go there after I slept a bit, okay?"

Kari beams proudly at Laio's trust in her. She jumps up to her feet happily, positively loving the things Laio says to her. Fitting in is, essentially, the goal that the little one aims for.
"Ok!" she exclaims, her tail brushing the grass, "You sleep and I'll watch! Just like I said."

"You're a good kid, Kari," Laio grins again. "Keep up with your countin', or something, and I'll nap for a bit." She rolled properly onto her front, tucking her tail around her haphazardly. She'd just sleep a little while, and then back to the central again. She'd even get to see if Colche's little boycubs had grown at all.
Cracking one eye open again briefly, she watched the attentive pink cheetah, positively radiating helpfulness, and smiled inwardly.

With another quick nod, the cub makes a quick circle before walking back over towards the dirt. She'll do exactly what Laio said to do- she'll count with the pawprints again, and watch out for anything around them.
Of course, she'll do a better job this time than she did before. She didn't notice Laio was nearby until she was spoken to!
