Tenadier apparently todays was suppsoed to be one that steven fry wrote but it was way over budget... so they had an episode that hardly used any instead... What's the big deal about Steven Fry? Who is he, anyway? I'm just curious. Anyway, Fry's story was originally shifted to series 3, but he apparently didn't have time to finish it, so now it's been dropped altogether. A pity... must have been something grand if they were worried about the budget!

Heh, a helluva a lot better than the last one, I woulda given it a five but the dad's voice just put me off a bit, so a four it is. I loved the scribble thing, and how he could rub it out. I want one!

I loved this ep ='D I wanna draw like the Isola thing/Chole! So I can get rid of a few annoying people from my class ninja *ahem* And didn't the Doctor say that he was a dad! eek The animated drawings kinda creeped me a bit o.O;; The ending was kinda good, gave us a really small hint about what would happen in the next Tardisode, a storm coming. Because I haven't seen the episode with Satan in it, I didn't know what he said, until now...I watched the preview for the next Tarisode, and I somehow think Rose is going to die somehow by saving the Dr or get killed by the Cybermen again! gonk
BTW If that really happened in the year 2012 Olympics I would freak out, with all the disappearing crowds and stuff O.O;;

7Sapphire8Dragon9 And didn't the Doctor say that he was a dad! eek
He's not just a dad, he's a granddad... A pretty decent episode... the highlight was probably the lighting of the Olympic flame at the end. Though Rose being attacked by a scribble was also pretty cool! The Doctor had to repark the TARDIS in the beginning... xd Main dislikes were the long exposition scene in the bedroom with Chloe doing her talking in a whisper (bit difficult to make out some of what she was saying), and all that singing of that annoying Kookabura song. Die Kookabura die!!! Oh man, I can't wait for next week!

I thought it was very good. The entire thing was very inventive and original and I really enjoyed it. I loved Rose getting attacked by the scribble but all the chatter about Love and Hope did get a little overbearing. That's the only reason why I didn't give it a perfect score.

Hairy Priest He's not just a dad, he's a granddad... Technically Susan wasnt his real granddaughter. I loved the episode! It was a godsend compaired to the last one. Didnt like how Rose got to save the day and The Doctor stealing the torch was funny but corny. The rest of it though was awesome and ME LOVE THE SCRIBBLE!!! YAY LOLZ I SAVED TEH DAY.

Zeoronics Technically Susan wasnt his real granddaughter. Only if you believe that the New Adventures novels are canon, but whether the current Dr. Who production team does or not remains unclear. At any rate, with the Doctor now officially being declared a father, it's not too much of a stretch to think that Susan could really be his granddaughter. Which, I suspect, was the purpose of the "I was a dad once" line in the first place. On a completely unrelated note... the Doctor stuck his finger into someone's jar of orange marmalade! I love little side jokes like that... xd

And then I find out it's not coffee...hm...close enuff'. I LOVED this episode! The torch bit at the end! Genious, if a bit silly ^^ I went all sick when the 'Next Time ' part came; lack of the music made it feel sombre. Two episodes left! This series has gone by so fast!

~Daughter of Sparda~ I thought he was sticking his finger in a jar of coffee at first, and I was like, 'ZOMFG! I'm not the only one who does that! Whee, the Doctor does it too!'. And then I find out it's not coffee...hm...close enuff'. It's definitely orange marmalade (I saw a screencap elsewhere with a close-up of the label)... though, given the 10th Doctor's sudden bursts of manic energy, you'd think he was going a bit overboard with the coffee. Or Red Bull. So you like your coffee pure. As in... undiluted with water? mrgreen

Which, I suspect, was the purpose of the "I was a dad once" line in the first place. You know the title "Dad" isn't always given because of a blood tie. The Doctor found Susan wandering ancient Gallifrey alone, homeless and hungry. He took her when no one else would, then they fled Gallifrey together and spent years wondering as just the two of them. He raised her, they learned how to operate the Type-40 together and they developed a tight bond LONG before Ian and Barbara bumbled they're way into the TARDIS. Is it such a stretch that the Doctor would consider himself to be Susan's father? Even if it is just an adopted title? ninja
