I keep the foils in individual hard plastic sleeves, but the nonfoils are in a box (I had them in the 9-card sleeves, but they bent too easily).

I have a Black/Wicked Lady American doll. I ruined her collector's value (if there WAS any) by cutting off the pink mesh and painting her shoes black. <.< >.> I was going to dye her hair blonde too to match my fanfic character, but I couldn't get my mother to understand why a blonde girl needed blonde hair dye. sweatdrop

biggrin eh heheh. cool. i think sweatdrop
speaking of dolls, why can't any doll maker perfect the usagi's odango? when i was little i used to put usagi's odangos on my barbies all the time. they're really simple to make. if you make them tight enough on a doll, they are not easy to take out either. maybe it's because they mass-produce, and details like these are treated as stupid details and are replaced with plastic confused

That's why I prefer the plastic figurines, though (the Japanese ones). They're sooo good. biggrin I like them a lot more than the ugly dolls. Sigh. Is it so hard to make them properly? crying As for my toys, they includes... the 2" American figures, a UFO Venus doll (only one! sweatdrop found it in the comic shop and grabbed it...), all the American plush dolls (those are so cute! but not as nice as the UFO's), two sets of capsule figurines (I LOVE THESE), more dolls, some flat keychains, even more dolls... What I really want, though, is the PGSM Luna plush toy! Omg, so cute. crying And a Sailor Luna doll, even though it looks super-weird. o_o; (Again, the hair!)

the plush dolls they use of luna and artemis on PGSM are the original plush dolls they sold when sailor moon was playing in japan. you can find them on ebay i know. i'm always seeing them, for like $10 or even $5 each!! they're so cute. when you squeeze them they say five different phrases each from the anime!! ah...so cute whee
i want to see pictures of the sailor moon capsules you spoke of! i don't think i've ever heard of those confused they sound cool 4laugh

Really? I'll have to look for them. ^.^
Ooh... the capsule dolls are Japan-only products... they're the little plastic bubbles you find in crane-type machines, with little disassembled dolls in them! Sound familiar yet? Well, maybe not. Then you open them, put them together, and have a really cool collectible item. heart They're so fun. biggrin Luckily, my comic shop had whole sets of them on sale, and I was able to buy two. 4laugh They sell the sets online, too, but they're a bit rare nowadays.
They also sell these kinds of figures in boxes, where you just buy them randomly and try to collect a whole set... these are a lot more common, I'm guessing. But if you didn't know, the trick is, you can't tell what's inside the box until you open it. sweatdrop So it can be difficult and frustrating.

ooh, like a mini resin set?? the ones you're talking about that come in boxes are called resins (but, you knew that, right xd ?). i love looking at the completed ones on ebay. it's like looking at a resin gallery XD. hopefully (::dreams eek : smile in my anime store when i open it up i'll have a mini-gallery somewhere in my shop (maybe a hallway with framed art leading to a room or a couple of rooms) where i can put completed resins on display in glass display boxes with little engraved gold info-plaques telling what they are, the history of the model, and the artist who painted this particular resin and the paints they used. biggrin yay!! ah, to dream... heart

Yea, I think so... except they come pre-painted... resin sets are the ones you paint, right? Or maybe I'm just confused. That's possible, too. ^^;;
Haha, that'd be so awesome, though. biggrin Man, I wish I could have a Sailormoon museum, with like - EVERYTHING. That'd be the best. ^o^ When I win the lottery... yes... 3nodding

XD don't worry. you can always have like a china cabinet filled with your sailor moon things and put them in display in your dining room or something curious surprised
i think the resin sets are the ones you paint...not sure if the ones that come pre-painted that you put together are just called "models" or what. you gave me a good idea!! i'm going to put up a new picture on the front page now XD
