Kik froze as the dragon breathed fire into the air and swarmed about them. His knees felt weak, yet his legs refused to collapse underneath him. The muscles in his back were clentched so tight they hurt. He wasn't sure if he'd pissed his pants or not.
And yet even panic must start to give way eventually, and Kik began to feel like he was in a dream, or a spell, that he could not longer withstand. "You're a bloody nuisance!"
Aeryon's voice was next, freed by Kik's, but with a much different tone: "Please, just tell us what you want... or leave us alone!"

Hmmmm. What do I want? He asked, looking at each of them in turn. He reached out with a claw, poking Aeryon lightly. Although lightly is a bit of an understatement. What don't I want? He asked quizzically. What can't I get for that matter? He blew a puff of air, as if he were bored with them. Let's play a game! He suddenly grabbed Kik carefully but quickly in a large claw, his wings making him hover a few meters in the air. Try and get him back! And with that he flew over their heads and past them, landing on a high building nearby.

The silo complained under his weight, built for rain and wind, not dragons.
Kik was, of course, very unhappy. He was too old to faint and too young to have a heart attack (he hoped). Now he was sure he had pissed himself, though, and screaming at first left him winded. He felt dizzy, panicy, and threw up on Seyu as soon as they landed on the Silo.
For the love of humanity, just drop me and get it over with.
The other humans did not run after Kik. Hell no! They ran the other way! Let the beast have its measly dinner. It was only a serving slave, compared to the more valuable soldiers (slave and free) that now thought they might get away.

((lmao! I love that! He was "very unhappy" rofl )) Seyu dropped the man in disgust at first, grimacing. He caught him with his other foot quickly, whiping the man on the vomit on his leg. He looked down at the fleeing men. If you don't try, I'll get you too. Was the simple, softly said message that played through there minds. Seyu roared with what may have been laughter.

They continued to run; shields held above their heads for those who had them. One guy brought out a trumpet a tooted shrilly for help. They were hoping for hiding places or reinforcements, or both.
"Bloody ******** giant lizard!" Kik managed in indignation. "You're lower than a ******** goblin!"
((FYI: yes, you CAN kill him if you want))

((Seyu's playful. He wouldn't hurt someone intentionally. Unless he didn't know his own strength >>)) Seyu looked down at the man. Looks like they won't be helping you anytime soon. He said simply. He clutched his leg and beat his wings, flying high over the rooftops as he dangled there. He flew up to the high roof of a tower, letting the man down gently. Have fun getting down. He said, roaring with laughter as he circled the tower.

Kik sat down on the peak of the tower and cowered with his hands over his head. Until the beast left, he wasn't going to budge and inch. He felt more than a little roughed up, and considered himself too old for this kind of excitement and terror. His life as a slave was not worth being brave for, so he would just sit there.

Seyu had flown down quietly, out of site of the tower. He had climbed up underneath where the man couldn't see him, popping up in front of him with a great bellowing roar before spinning and flying down with laughter. He felt a sharp, painful p***k in his wing, and he started spiraling unintentially. He brought his wings back in, crashing into the ground with the splat of squished people and the crunch of cracked stone. He got up shaking his head and turned his head around to examine his wing. Through the delicate skin was a large bloody hole, and protruding from it was the shaft of an arrow.

The big splat coaxed Kik's gaze downward. When he saw the giant lizard scrambling in confusion on the ground, he couldn't immediately see why. The distance stretched under him like a sling shot readying.
Kik immediately returned his eyes to the curved wood underneath him. After casting around for a few moments, he found the service ladder built onto the side of the tower. Ladders like these were built into most tall structures to allow repairs to roofs and to fit flags of Feretris or compounds like Eldic Estate near the top.
Forcing a few deep breaths, Kik began crawling to the ladder.

((Kazoo informed me that he would no longer be posting, and to do what we want with his character. MWAHAHA))
The dragon's fall enboldened the other humans who had been in the small march, so that soon Seyu was surrounded by enfuriated and frightened soldiers with bows and swords. Because of his performance earlier, any pleading would be ignored. Any fighting on Seyu's part would be resisted, even if he killed several of the humans before becoming completely crippled himself.
Soon Feretris would have a dragon corpse, useful in their campaign against this new and frightening foe. Look, a god bleeds!
In TOK, Aimus suffered the same wounds and also died under the care of Cedric's wife, who buried him.
