the sarong looks good on Albel sweatdrop that and it's a different culture so naturally people dress different.
And why I'm reviving this topic? Well, because I didn't want to make a repeat-thread about it XD
Anyway, what do you like about it? Are there things you don't like about it? What do you think of the real-time battle system? Or do you prefer turn-based? And who's your favorite character?
Well, to answer my own questions...
I defenitly love this game, one of the best I've played. Its quite long, so prepare for long hours of gaming. Plus, it has tons of side-quest and post-game quests.
About the battle-system, it's something you'll either like or dislike. It's real-time, but you still level-up etc.
I like it's interactiveness, but the AI leaves something to desire...
And my fave character would be Albel, but not because he looks hot XD

Jhaela I mostly use the strategy guide to make sure Albel likes Fayt. Because I have wet dreams about hot, kinky yaoi FaytxAlbel lovefests.

Anyway, Star Ocean 'til the End of Time is one of my favorite games. The storyline was good and there's TONS of stuff to do. I can never get bored of inventing new items to make my characters practically invincible. Then, there's the post-game dungeon that I'm working my way towards...
Anyway, the AI really did get annoying after a while. Thank goodness for regeneration bracelets (or whatever they were called), for Nel would have run out of MP really quickly. Otherwise, I liked the battle system. It kept me on my toes, even when I was acting as "healer" by standing as far away from the enemy as possible...
Favorite part? Inventing. Let's not reveal how much of the game's currency I spent inventing items...
Favorite character? That would be Nel since she's just an overall kick-a** character. Plus, she works great with the AI (as long as she has an MP regeneration item on). I usually used Fayt when battling, so I can't say too much beyond that.

I use Albel a lot because he's simply handy to fight with. And he's my fav character too xd
Nel's awesome too, but I screwed up getting her stare I took Pepitta with me not knowing I'd screw up on Nel sweatdrop I'll probably take her on my second playthrough though XD
I haven't completed any of the post-game dungeons yet XD I'm currently at the Urssa Temple and Fayt and (Luther in my case) are so hard to beat sweatdrop

I totally adore that game. it took me very long to actually buy the game
But I turned out to be a fantastic game. my favorite game only by one
It has to my opion a really great plot.When they ended on the other side of the gate ( somewhere on disc 2 ) I really screamed, I actually coudn't believe it. ( such a herous entree razz )
but i think you got the game already sinds the post is from 2005
so you discovered it yourself problably
Albel and Nel are really some of my favorite characters ever
But my favorite was en will always be Maria

I have it played 60+ houers and still havent beaten it sweatdrop though with My upgraded weapons I should be able to stare Meh I bet If I play again after a break I'll beat it thays what usually happens to games I'm stuck in.
The game it's self is good The storyline was great and the battle system was fun smile its just really... really long

Still haven't started the game! (School, and stress, and FFV were major distractions).
One thing that I finally figured out about the game that bugged me: the characters look like Precious Moments figurines.

I play this game bit by bit. I'm trying hard to get through it but I don't think it's going to happen. I'm about fifteen hours in and bored out of my mind. The game gets frustrating because you get very little direction, and so far most of the characters are uninteresting. If it doesn't pick up soon I won't finish it. SO2 was so much better. (I want to at least get Albel before I quit!)
