Schaly Nikolita Schaly Iris.of.Mourning If a girl is taking birth control pills and has unprotected sex during her period (reminder pills) and he ejaculates in her, can she still be pregnant?
(I apologize if I posted this in the wrong place, it seemed like the most logical thread.) About that. It depends. If you are taking your pills correctly, as directed and will be starting another pack after then no you actually cannot become pregnant durring the inactive pills. Most all the pill sites I went to said that as long as you were starting a new pack for the comming month/cycle and were taking your pills correctly, you could not get pregnant during the inactive week. Otho Tri-cyclen Lo Has it here: http://www.thepill.com/birth-control-pills/faqs.html#III As well as FPA: http://www.fpa.org.uk/guide/contracep/compill.htm#14 There were some more sites as well, but I cant find the links at the moment. sweatdrop *adds information to first post* Thank you! heart Your very welcome. Glad to contribute some useful information for everyone biggrin Say the pills got messed up 1-2 weeks into a new pack (the active pills), missing about 5-6 total, but making them all up before the inactive pills... how much would it increase the chances of getting pregnant during the inactive pills?

If you miss too many pills, I've read it's best to just start a new pack. Read the information booklet inside your Pill package though, I think that's where I remember seeing it. Also go see your doctor/gyno to ask them about it, because they'd know for sure. Your chances of getting pregnant would go up a lot though, if all the pills are now ineffective because you've missed so many, so be sure to use a condom/another form of birth control if you're going to have sex.

Whilst teaching year 9 i came across some other myths if you are interested? smile The answers are in red. I know most people will know the answers already i just wanted to save you some time smile
1. A crisp bag is a good alternative for a condom - no, not only is this painful it wouldnt work either!
2. A rubber glove is another and can be used 5 times (5 fingers) again...no the pores of the rubber are more than large enough to allow sperm to pass through
3. If a woman sneezes whilst having sex the mans p***s will vanish (???) nope, there is no where for it to vanish to, it shouldnt even hurt
4. Some men can be too "big" to wear a condom condoms can be bought in sizes, usually small, regular, large . A standard condom can fit over a persons head without problem. The large ones if carefully stretched can fit over phone boxes. I have seen it done!
5. Condoms can get "stuck" inside the woman again as with the sneezing myth, there is not where for it to go.

Okay, I got a question. How soon can you test? In weeks, I mean. Is four weeks enough time for a test to be effective?

BrokenWing Okay, I got a question. How soon can you test? In weeks, I mean. Is four weeks enough time for a test to be effective? It should be. It would depend on when you're counting from, like a certain day on which you had sex, or a certain day you started having pregnancy symptoms, etc. I think it was Nopenname who said you should take the pregnancy test on the day you'd normally get your period. If it's negative and the symptoms persist, wait another week and then try again, or something like that.

If a girl gets drunk, and the next day can't remember what happened, but a few weeks later starts throwing up in the morning and having every sign of pregnancy, but she never experienced any pain 'down there' the day after getting drunk, could she still have lost her virginity?
My friend Britt went to a party, got drunk, doesn't remember what happened. She's showing every sign of being 3 weeks pregnant, but she doesn't remember any pain or blood down there, so she's not sure if it's just her body being weird, or if she had sex but her hymen didn't break/healed disturbingly fast.

She's showing every sign of being 3 weeks pregnant, but she doesn't remember any pain or blood down there, so she's not sure if it's just her body being weird, or if she had sex but her hymen didn't break/healed disturbingly fast. It may be with in the realm of possibility for her to have been drugged (date-rape drugs, when used, are often hidden in drinks.) or just to have been drunk enough to have been partially take advantage of. She may not have been raped or had sex but if a guy rubbed against her to get off it could explain why she feels intact but could also have gotten pregnant. Which isn't to say she is. However, she could still have had sex and not be in pain. Most of the pain is caused from muscles being too tight, alcohol causes the body to relax, so it is possible that her body may have been relaxed enough for her to feel no pain. My advice would be for her to talk to a doctor. If she is pregnant, she will need care. If she isn't she is probably sick with sometihng and would need medical attention in any case. If she can't make a doctor's appointment for some time and still has fears that she is pregnant she should take an at home pregancy test. I don't claim any athority on the subject, but that's my advice for now.

She should take a pregnancy test, in my opinion, and then go see a doctor regardless of the results. She might've been raped and not know it, or the doctor could give her a pregnancy test and/or give her more accurate results.
