Keppit writes::

I had yet another talk with my youngest child about the do's and don'ts of personal space. The sad thing is that I still don't think she understands. It's a thing she's always been able to do and she doesnae seem to think she should have to stop just because other people cannae do the same thing....

should you and I stop using our eyes simply because there are blind people out there that arenae able to see? .... I don't have an answer to that and I feel like a hypocrite when I ask her to stop her using her imagination.

Finding the Princess....

Finding the Princess...
Part one... One very tired zombie....

Keppit threw off the covers with a groan and forced herself to her feet. Standing on the bed with her hands limp at her sides she stared up at her second son's loft where he was writing in his journal. "Guuuuusssss...." She whined. "Please? I need to go to bed. Please?" She frowned up at him. Cute he might be, blue ears he might have, but there was a limit to his cuteness at this hour of the evening.

"What?" He pulled off his headphones and leaned over the banister. "What did you say?"

"You need to turn off the music. Or turn it down or something I dinnae care as long as I dinnae have to hear it." She sat down on the bed with a sigh. "I'm so tired, I cannae even argue this. Please?" She sent him a glance that was supposed to be the equivilent of puppy dog eyes.... but she had the face of a zombie, which doesn't translate cute well.

Gus frowned. "I need music to write by..." He frowned at Keppit for a brief second until his gaze was interupted by a rogue pillow right between the eyes.

Ranald sat up from her place on the sofa, he face contorted half in sleep half in evil intentions... "I agree with the eyesore on this one Blueboy." She used her pillow pitching arm to rub sleep from her eyes. "If she's anywhere as tired as I am then you better turn that rubbish down so we can sleep or so help you blueboy I'll make you even shorter than you are right now!"

Gus threw the pillow back down at Ranald, and in her sleepy state she didn't block it in time, getting it right in the face. "How are you going to do that may I ask?"

Ranald opened her mouth to reply, but Keppit beat her to it. "Gus... look around you. Ran was asleap, Jen and Jim are over there all tucked in and snoring away" Keppit ignored Ran's mutterings about Sm snoring "Alexander is fast asleap, Willie's in her cuboard sleeping like an angel, and I'll bet that if you looked out the window you'd see little 'Z's' hanging in the air above Saty's treehouse and Dromi's tent." She sighed and took a breath. "I want to join them in slumberland."

Gus sighed. "I'll turn it down for you. I didn't want to keep you up, I just wanted to write." He ran a finger down the volume control on the Cd player.

"I ken you didnae." Keppit blew him a kiss. "I'l asleap now and I ken that what you're writing is ace, I really do." She closed her eyes and flopped back into the bed. She knew that it wouldn't be long before she was fast asleap and in dream land and nothing could stop her now... except Ranald who was tapping her on the shoulder.

"Keppit. You're not even listening to me are you?"

Keppit groaned... "No, I'm TRYING to go to sleep." She opened her eyes expecting to see the roof of the cabin, the bottoms of her children's lofts and Ranald's face staring down at her from over the bed....

Instead she found herself standing in front of her white haired 'twin' who was backed by a jungle setting... a very familiar jungle setting.

Finding the Princess....

Finding the Princess...
Part two... One very iritated zombie 'twin'....

Keppit stared across the small clearing at her 'twin'. "You're um... well, I dinnae ken how to say this, but you're standing in a jungle Ran." Keppit blinked her eyes twice in a very confused manner.

"As are you, oh observant one." Ranald sent Keppit a brief sneer before turning and looking up towards the treetops with mild interest. "I cannae believe that I even dream about this place now." She turned her head slightly so that she could look at Keppit. "There's gottae be some kind of helmet that you can put on the frog of yours... You ken? To keep her from invading other people's minds and whatnot." She shoved her hands into her pockets and returned her gaze to the treetops.

"She's a toad and she's my daughter." Keppit walked up behind Ranald and looked up trying to see what Ran was seeing. "How did I get from my bed to a jungle without knowing it?"

"You're not in a jungle, I'm dreaming and you're in it. And I must say that you're as iritating in my dreams as you are in real life." Ranald gave Kep a harmless shove and walked over to a tree. Giving the trunk of the giant tree a thump with her fist she stepped out of the clearing and began walking away through the woods.

Keppit sighed once before following Ran. "I dinnae think I'm one of your fantasies this time Ran... I think... I think that if anyone's dreaming I am and you're in MY dream." She caught up with the white haired girl and grabbed her by the arm.

Ranald turned to Keppit and pinched her on the shoulder as hard as she could. Keppit blinked and looked down at the pinced place. The grey skin was beginning to turn blue and blackish... "that was uncalled for you Ken." She glared over at Ran and grabbed her arm harder with her right hand as she used her left to pinch her twin in return.

"Ow! You zombie sadist!" Ranald wrenched her arm from Keppit's grip and then turned on Keppit. "Dinnae make me hurt you!" She scowled across the gap.

"Dinnae make me remind you that I'm already dead and that in a fight that's an advantage!" Keppit glared right back, and the two glared at each other for a full two minutes before Ranald spoke again.

"Agree to dissagree?" Blue eyes questioning.

"Agree to dissagree..." Yellowed dead eyes silent.

"So whether I'm in your dream or you're in mine, what happens next?" Ranald glanced at her pinch mark before shoving her hands down into her pockets.

"Well you were going somewhere before I grabbed you I think... Weren't you?" Keppit pointed in the direction her sister had been heading. Ranald turned and looked further into the jungle.

"Any direction's as good as any other at this point I ken." She shrugged and started walking again. Keppit followed in her footsteps. "just ken that I still think you and your frog are annoying. Why do you let her impose thoughts upon other people like this? I shouldnae be thinking about this stupid jungle all the time!"

Keppit shrugged. "I dinnae... she's only able to get through to you and me so far..." Ranald opened her mouth to reply but was interupted.

"AAArrrrrrrrrrrrrree you going somewherrrre?"

Both Keppit and Ranald spun around to see where the voice was comming from... and right behind them was a wolf... a wolf standing on his hind legs and smiling at them. "It just seems that you arrrrrre and I think I may be of service? You arrrrrrrree... lost? perhaps?"

Finding the Princess....

Finding the Princess...
Part three... One very hungry wolf....

Ranald stood gaping at the wolf... "You ken right, that I live in a house with talking dogs, humanoids with ears, monkeys that wear skulls, a dinosaur and a zombie and I still find this talking wolfman a strange thing to see."

Keppit turned slowly to her twin. "You never take anything serriously do you. Never. Not one thing."

"Where's the fun in that?" Ran blinked at Kep. "If I was always serrious then I'd never have any fun. And you forget that..."

"Parrrrrrrrrdon me."

Keppit and Ranald's attentions were brought abruptly back to the wolf standing in front of them. "Oh yeah. sorry. You were saying sommat?" Ranald's expression said that she didn't aprechiate being interupted by the wolf.

"I was wonderrrrrrrrrring if you werrrrrrrre lost. I thought I could be of some assistance." He smirked and Ranald's skin crawled. Keppit's skin would have crawled as well but she was dead and all her skin did was rot slowly.

"Um. No thanks. I learned the 'dinnae talk to woods in the forest' lesson when I was just a kid." She placed her hands on Keppit's shoulders and started to steer her around the wolf, only he stepped in the way.

"Rrrrrrrrrrright now I don't think you know wherrrrrrrre you arrrrrrrre." He was deliberately blocking their way, and licking his lips.

"What are you going to do? Send us the long way to grandma's house? Piss off we know what we're doing here." Ranald was a little scared and she was glad that Keppit was between her and the wolf.... and she was soon more glad as the wolf lunged at them with a growl.

He siezed Keppit's left arm in his jaws before she even had time to think about running and tore a sizeable chunk from it.... Ranald screamed, Keppit sat on the ground shocked, and the wolf fell backwards spitting and sputtering at the rancid taste in his mouth.

"Rrrrrrrrrrrr! Blaayyyych!" He spit and howled at the rotten flesh and then he turned and ran off into the woods the way that the two women had come from.

"Well... " Ranald was speachless for a change.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHhhh!" Keppit wasn't. "That ACTUALLY HURTS!" She stared at the hole in her arm with tears in her eyes. "IT HURTS!"

"You can feel your arm?" The white haired woman let herself wonder why it wasn't strange to ask someone that question, and then explained it to herself. "But you're dead. You couldnae feel that before right?"

"I cannae feel anything normally.... but this hurts...." She gave a whimper and clutched at her arm.

"How bad does it hurt?"

"Not as bad as it should but it still hurts!" Tears were falling from her eyes as she looked over at Ran.

Ranald stood with a sigh and walked over to Keppit. Taking the zombie's arm wrappings in her hands she untied what was left and re-wrapped them around the hole in Keppit's arm. "Better?"

"No... but thanks." She allowed Ranald to pull her to her feet (using her good arm) and stood beside her. "Now I think that it's your dream for sure."

"I dinnae want you in pain." Ranald smirked.

"C'mon" Keppit continued walking off through the woods away from the wolf.

Ranald shoved her hands down into her pockets and sighed.

Finding the Princess....

Finding the Princess...
Part four... One very silent shaddow....

Ranald groaned and kicked a pinecone. "This is YOUR dream. I dinnae sleep this long!"

"Time goes differently in dreams. And for the last time, we havenae been walking for hours, it jsut seems like it." Keppit stopped suddenly as she saw something ahead of her. Ranald hadn't seen her stop and walked right into the back of her.

"God! Now I ken why that wolfman ran off, you ken you really really really really stink." She gave Keppit a mild shove.

"did you see that?"

"See what?" Ran stepped up beside Keppit and gazed off into the trees. "I dinnae see anything."

"There was someone walking in front of us!" She pointed. "Over there. Someone walked by."

"Well why didnae you call out or sommat? What did they look like?"

"Short... about two feet tall and kind of round... " She stopped to think for a while... "I dinnae ken why I didnae call out but I .... I dinnae ken, all I saw was a shaddow."

"Short and round? just a shaddow? sounds like a gnome." Ranald grinned.

"What are we? we're not at the jivvin center and you are not Wegs... there's no such thing as gnomes." Keppit frowned at her twin.

Ranald stared back with a grin... "You ken that you live with a talking dinosaur right? And that your daughter is a fr.... " She stopped and stared over Keppit's shoulder.

"What? did you see it?" The zombie spun around and jogged a few steps into the woods. "You saw it right?"

"Yeah... just like you said, short, round, and shaddow---um ---ee." Ran stepped up behind Keppit... "Where do you think it went?"

Keppit didn't say anything but instead pointed down at the floor.

"Aaahhhhh." Ranald shoved her hands in her pockets and stared down into what looked like a genuine set of dungeon stairs. "You um... Which of us dreams about dungeons? And what is a set of stone stairs doing in the middle of the woods?" She took a step back. "You ken I dinnae like the dark right?"

Keppit took a step forward. "It's where the gnome went.... " And then she strode off down the steps and into the underground.

Ranald stepped up to the hole and gaped down at the darkness. "SOME OF US ARENAE DEAD YET! ...." She sighed. "And we hope to stay that way.

Then she followed Keppit down the stairs and into the woodland dungeon.

Finding the Princess....

Finding the Princess...
Part five... One very dark dungeon....

It took Keppit's eyes a little while to adjust to the darkness around her, but once they did she could tell that it would be slow going down in the dungeon. "Ran... Ran you down here yet?"

"I wouldnae let you GO down in the darkness all alone." Keppit couldn't see her twin but she knew by Ran's voice that she was close.

"I thought you didnae want to ocme down in the dark..."

"That was before I remembered the man eating wolfpeople up in the light." Ranald reached through the darkness and gave Keppit a playfull thunk on the head. "Why are we down here again?"

"We're chasing that gnome." Keppit reached out and grabbed Ranald by the wrist and dragged her on into the dungeon.

Ranald gave a heavy sigh and let her twin drag her through the dungeon. "I cannae see a think you ken, and what's with this new obsession with gnomes?"

"I just want to know why it came down here. Did you have a better plan?" They came to an intersection and Keppit chose to go left.

"No, I just.... I dinnae want to get eaten or killed, or even mildly insulted really.... I just wannae have a pleasant night's sleep for a change, instead of constantly being berated in my dreams.... not only by my own worries and nightmares but by yours as well.... "

"Oh quit your whingeing..." this time they took a right.... "You're not going to die in your dreams, or my dreams or whoever's dreams these are..." Keppit stopped and looked at a marking on the wall in front of them... "What do you think this marking means?"

Ranald allowed herself to be dragged up behind Keppit ... "Wait... If it's not your dream and it's not my dream then who's dream is it?... But I still think it's my dream you ken... it's too real to be anything else."

"I think this is a handprint.... " The zombie reached out and touched the handprint... "But the fingers are way too long to be human fingers... "

"What?" Ranald jerked her hand away from Keppit's grasp, but then realized that she felt alone and really scared without Keppit's touch so she grabbed keppit's shirt sleeve.... "What, like aliens?"

"No.... well, actually maybe." She turned and patted Ran on the shoulder. "Left or right?"

"Left?"

"Left it is... "

The two women contined on down the hall until the walls widened out and they found themselves in a medium sized room ... which was just as dark as the hallway before it. Ranald reached up and grabbed Keppit's shirt with her other hand as well... "I still cannae see anything."

"We're in a room." the zombie squinted her eyes and peered into the darkness... "And there's a man in here with us... "

Finding the Princess....

Finding the Princess...
Part six... How could you?....

"I'm sorry.... could you repeat that? I thought you said that there was some strange man here in this dungeon with us." Ranald half laughed half sighed...

"Quit it... you ken that's what I said." Keppit could see the man. He was sitting on the far side of teh dungeon with a large blanket drapped across his lap and across the floor. He was rocking back and forth, seemingly without having notcied either of the two women.

"That's just great. Perfect. Why is this dream scaring me so much?"

"Sir?... " Keppit took a step forward, dragging Ranald with her. "Sir? can you help us? We're um... well, we're looking for a gnome that came down here... did you see it?"

"Gnomes don't come down here." His voice was gruff and ill used. As Keppit got closer she could see that he was unshaven with bags under his eyes... and he as he rocked back and forth he stroked the blanket across his face.... it made an awful skritching noise against the pathetic excuse for a beard... "This is the place you come to die... "

"I dinnae want to die!" Ranald grabbed Keppit's arms even tighter than she had been before...

"You're nae gonnae die you wuss. It's just a dream and I'm already dead." She stared over at the man... there was something familiar about him.

"You should leave." His eyes slowly lifted from the floor where he had been looking and landed on Keppit's face... "I will die here, and do you know why?"

Ranald gave a short soft groan... "Why must you be so morbid?"

"I'm a terrible person." He ignored Ranald's question. "I'm a terrible father... if I'm even a father at all. I'm a terrible terrible whatever I am. I'm the scum of the earth, the fungus on fungus, the saddest most lonely," He whimpered "man on the planet..... and it's all my fault."

Keppit didn't know what to say... "Ok. .. ... ..... Um, do you ken the way out of here?"

"I sold my daughter.... I sold her away." He rocked a little more violently...

Ranald stood shocked in the darkness, Keppit gasped in sudden recognition of what was going on.... "

"Ranald... Do you know who this guy is?" The zombie spun around to face her sister...

"He's a loony that's what he is!"

"No, do you ken where he's from? What he's all about?.... you ken?" Keppit grabbed Ranald's shoulders and shook the white haired woman slightly...

"He's from my dream! Jeezus let go.... "

"No, yo dinnae ken him, that means that this isnae your dream." She turned to the man... "You're a soldier right? and you had a daughter right? .... and When her mum died you took her to town and you sold her away as a slave to a large mean man right?" ....

the man stopped rocking and stared at Keppit... "I was and I did... I'm a terrible person... and I'm not even in here for that."

"And that's not all... you sold your daughter.... um... Mig! that was her name... Miggory! You sold her for nothing more than that blanket there... " Keppit pointed even though she knew that no one but her could really see in the dark here...

"Yeah... I sold my Mig for a tablecloth." He gave a short sob... "But you see it's red... it's a beautiful red colour." He began to gather the tablecloth up into his lap...

Ranald finally found her voice... "Fat lot of good that will do you. Cannae see anything here in this dark, red cloth's a-same as black cloth to me."

Keppit grabbed Ranald by the shoulder.... "Ran... this isnae your dream. And is isnae my dream either.... This man, and this dungeon... even the wolfman outside... they're all from stories I've read... The jungle outside? It's from an indiana jones movie...."

Ranald slumped slightly... "You mean... it's Willie... we've been pulled into one of your frog daughter's damn fantasys? ..... "

Keppit nodded.

"Great." Ran let go of Keppit and sighed. "Start thinking up your will."

Finding the Princess....

Finding the Princess...
Part seven... Everything makes sense....

Keppit turned heals and walked back down the hallway until she reached a fork in the passageway. She didn't stop for long though because she knew that Ranald was right behind her. The zombie stode down the left passage before her sister even had a chance to complain, and she started calling out into the darkness. "RAT!.... Hey RAT!"

"Keppit... have you lost your zombie mind?" Ranald stumbled up behind her zombie counterpart and sighed. "What are you doing?"

"RAT!" She turned and grabbed Ranald's hand. "There's a rat somewhere in here that can take us up to the castle... I just cannae remember his name...."

"What?!? How do you know all this?"

Keppit sighed "Damnit Ran, dinnae you ever listen? It's all a part of a story that Willie likes me to read to her." She stopped and peered down another passage. "It's what happens next... sort of. But we need the rat to take us up to the castle... we need to find the princess.... or um.... Damn how does that story go?"

Keppit couldn't see it, but in the dark behind her Ranald rolled her eyes.

Ranald couldn't see it, but in the dark behind her a small rat peered around the corner at her.

Finding the Princess....

Finding the Princess...
Part eight... Everyone's got a little rat in them....

It was a good thirty minutes before Ranald finally turned to Kep and grabbed her by the zombie arm. "This is pointless and you're just getting us lost. I cannae stand this much longer Kep."

"It's... " She was tired of walking and not so sure of herself now. "There's supposed to be a rat around here somewhere. He's the bad guy. I just cannae remember his name." She sighed.

"It doesn't need a name."

Keppit and Ranald both spun around at the unknown voice, only to find that it belonged to the prisoner they had talked to earlier. He looked even sadder than he had before (if that was at all possible) and he was missing something... the tablecloth.

"Um... you know who - er- or what we're looking for?" Keppit stepped slightly in front of Ranald... a zombie had a better chance of not getting hurt if this guy turned out to be dangerous.

"He's a rat."

"Yeah we knew that." Ranald couldn't help but be irritable.

"No... he's a rat AND he's a RAT! He took my Mig!" The man broke down in sobs. "That rat took my Mig."

Ranald leaned in close to Keppit and wispered into her ear. "This guy's a looney! He's gone mad."

"No, he traded his only daughter for that red tablecloth and then the rat sweettalked him out of it... I remember that part... I just dinnae quite know what happens next... "

"Let's go please... I dinnae like being here..."

And with that Ranald and Keppit backed away from the man sobbing in the darkness.

And the Rat with a long red cape watched until they left his sight.

Keppit Writes

I'm writting this for my daughter, Willamina, who's sitting right here pretending to read what I've written... and now I'm talking out loud as I write so that she can hear what I've written.

I've decided that she needs to be more a part of this thing, since I plan on turnning it over to her once she's old enough and can read and write for herself. As it is it's hard for me to update this since i'm no longer allowed (seemingly) to play games with her anymore. She won't let me and prefers to play by herself... I think it's becuase she can't change the way people look and act in her 'games'. .... I'm not talking outloud anymore, she doesn't need to hear this... I think she's too much of a loner... I really do. SO while I'm on vacation for the next month Ranald has promised me that she'll take Willie to the shop so that she can interact and play with the other velvets. ... ...

I hope it does her good.

Ranald Writes::

Keppit's on vacation, and being the softie that I am I promised to take good care of the frog... I was given strict instructions to take it to the velvet-shop-place at least once a week, and to make sure it plays with other people and not by itself like it always does. And I also said that I'd do this... and it's sitting there on the desk while I write this (I think it thinks I'm actually writing down the things I'm telling it... I'm not). I don't know about this frog here, she kind of creeps me out. And for the record I know it's a toad and not a frog, but I have to get on Keppit's nerves somehow... that's what 'clones/twins' are for right? Anyway. This 'frog' here never does anything interesting. It runs in circles and climbs furniture and makes croaking noises as if it really did know how to talk (which it doesn't) ... but it always manages to stay alone in a corner somewhere....

Anyway. I'm tired of writting and I think the frog is too since it just hopped off the table in search of who knows what. I'll be back here again soon.
PostPosted: Tue Aug 29, 2006 6:08 pm

Ranald writes::

Keppit's house is lonely. It's really just me, Gus and the frog here. Gus and I are both bored as all get out, but the frog just sits there and stares off into space when she isn't stalking around with a strange look on her face. I really don't know what to do with it. I hate to get close to another kid just to have Keppit come back and have the whole situation be like I never existed in the first place...

But that's too painful for me to talk about really. Not here in the frog's journal. Talking about the frog... she's sitting here again, and this time she's glareing at me... I don't know why... have you ever been glared at by a frog? They've got thses great bug humongoid eyes... I think I know what she wants... she wants me to read what I'm writting out loud... Ok, I'm reading outloud now... and she's not glareing... now she's glareing again, but I think that's because I read the part about her glaring out loud...

So toady Willamina walked around the living room at least 35 times before she stopped and stared out the window for at least 2 hours.... but apparently that's not what she thinks happened because she's glareing at me again... and I can't take much more of this so I think it's bedtime soon.... that's what being the head of the household will do for me.. so there.

Bed for the frog... and for the blue eared jivvin too. I'll go tell him.

Gus writes::

So today I, Gus Kalhoun, older brother to Annastasia Rashanine Willamine Canigi Kalhoun, will be writing in her journal in her place on account of her having no literary skills whatsoever. Ranald's supposed to be doing this but she's not here at the moment, and I figure that I'd do a better job for Anna anyway... so here I am.

Today Anna and I read a book (of course I read and she listened) together. I decided to let her choose a book from my bookshelf, but she didn't seem bothered. In truth I don't know if she knew what I wanted from her, so I ended up picking a book to read a couple of chapters from. What did I choose? But of course I picked my personal favourite book, 'The Count of Monte Cristo'. I really do love that book, of course the movie is better than the original text, but now I'm just waffling in Anna's jouranl and that's just plain rude.

We managed to get through several chapters before she decided that she couldn't sit still anymore. Then she got down off my lap and danced about on the floor before tearing off into her cupboard to concoct a costume of some sort... she does that a lot. I know it might just be my imagination, but I think she may have really liked the book (at least the parts that we read together)... I think she may have been pretending to swordfight the people that she used to count as her best friends, much like Edmond in the book.... but like I said... that might just be my imagination.

Gus writes::

Yes... I am a bad brother. I have neglected my littlest sister in pursiut of romance.. but that's my story not hers.

Anna here has taken to a certain outfit. In fact I rarely see her in anything otherwise. She seems to like this particular small white sundress (stolen off a plush elfwoman) a pair of furry boots and a backpack that Keppit made for her before she went off on vacation. I have to admit that the little toad looks a tad silly, but as long as she's happy, I'm happy.

That being said, she no longer sits still to be read to, but would rather sit in the corner herself and look at the pictures in Ranald's books. I don't relaly understand it, but she seems happy and as I said before...

But why would she rather look at the pictures than read the words? Doesn't she want to know what's REALLY happening in the story?

Ok, so now Anna's looking at me and I think she's wondering what I'm doing. I tell her that I'm writting in her diary and she doesn't seem to care. In fact she hops off towards the kitchen counter, probably in search of food.

Nowhere have I ever seen a more vacant being. She's never here... she's always off in her own world. I almost wish I could see what she could.

Finding the Princess....

Finding the Princess...
Part nine... Amphibians in the darkness....

Keppit sighed... it had seemed like hours that she and Ranald had been walking through this dungeon... She was tired and she was hungry and...

"LOOK!" Ranald yelled as she jumped ahead and pointed down a hallway. Keppit could have sworn that they'd already been down that way.

"What.... what now?"

"I saw her... I saw your frog... but she's bigger here." Ranald turned and looked wide-eyed at Keppit... "she's about waist high."

Keppit sighed. "Willamina's a toad, Ran... not a frog." But... "where did you see her? Down this way?" Ranald nodded and the two of them started down the dark passage. Keppit couldn't tell if they really had been down this way before, all the passages looked the same. Each one covered in the same dust, the same dirt, the same moss... and Ranald complained about the same smells around every corner... This was insane! "What are we doing in a dungeon in the middle of the jungle in the middle of the night?"

"We're in a dream remember?" Ranald gave Keppit a push. "And it's all your frog's fault." She wrinkled her nose in disgust. "And I'm tired of being down here... she's your stupid toad, why do I have to put up with..."

But Ranald never got to finish her sentance because a shadow fell over them, obscuring what little light there had been in the first place.

"Whuuuaaat are you doing Here?" the voice was crackly and harsh... and it chilled Keppit's zombie blood...
