I love Disney World, so thats where my ideal place to be proposed to is.
I'd be cool if my boyfriend would do it infront of the castle at night x33 or at EPCOT in the Japan pavilion x3.
But I don't think it would happen because I would feel awful telling someone how to propose to me, takes away the surprise.

*was proposed to at Disney's Epcot* If done correctly, it could be romantic. *sighs happily* now I wish I had that one!! *sniffles*

It would be cool if the guy would just do it at all your favorite Disney spots xD.
"Oh sweety, I like this spot!"
Long night for that guy.

Totally! Thats weird, and complicated xp ! Are you goin to keep seeing him? ninja
Well, I'm not really seein' him. At all. Or talking to him much for that matter. He moved to the opposite coast to live with said ex-girlfriend and ex-girlfriend's friend to get away from a bad situation (and he's been busy and/or not able to get to a computer (and is really bad with remembering to call people) so I think the last time I talked to him was...almost a week ago?). But he lived about nine hours away from me before the move, so...bah.

And he just recently found out I had feelings for him beyond friendship because I'm a moron and don't know how to use my phone. lol

Wow, he has a lot going on right now! Hopefully you'll meet someone who you can feel the same way(or even more) about.

My cousin and her fiancee where up at our place last night for dinner and she was telling me about their engagement. Basically it went like this.

Stacey* was in a meeting for work. It was going a bit later then usual and her boss kept going "is that everything?", "are we done here now?" ((She was in on the plan)). Then once the meeting was finished Stacey walked out to the foyer (she is a receptionist) and Dave* was there. He shoved a box in her face and then opened the box and said will you marry me while still shoving the bo in her face. She told him to put it on her finger but he was reluctant. Eventually she convinced him to comply. Then she told him to go home, she would be there in an hour, but her boss was all like "You have to go home now." Stacey says she was perfectly happy to stay at work but they did go home.

I would prefer the traditional beach or restaurant proposal

That's not very romantic at all..personally, I don't even know if I want to get married...I was in a relationship for a year and he drove me crazy by the end of that year. I can't imagine spending the rest of my life with one person...I want children eventually but...I don't know about the rest. If it does happen, I want it to be near some kind of body of water...hopefully a waterfall with a big rainbow

*sigh's dreamily* Alright I'm too young for marriage but not to young to think about it. I don't know how the guys going to propose to me. I just hope it's someone i really love so I can say yes without any doubt behind that.

I always liked the tv proposal like on sports and gameshows and such. I just think its so romantic for a man to make such a big statement of love in front of soo many people. If that didn't happen though I would like the traditional candle light dinner with romantic music in the backround and the man getting on bended knee and then proposing.

Same here, Disney World is my favorite. I guess ideally I would want to be proposed to in front of the castle at Magic Kingdom during one of their celebrations with fireworks and music..

Either that or somewhere pristine and beautiful, like on a boat in the ocean at night. I also love extreme things like bungee jumping and sky diving, so it would be fun to have a guy propose during something like that. I doubt any of this will happen though.

**sighs** If I were ever to be proposed to, I would want it to be spontaneous and romantic and beautiful. Something like going to see a play, or going out to dinner, and then taking a walk, maybe through Trafalger Square, and holding hands, being pulled in for a kiss, and asked the question... redface Silly, I know, but there it is.

A friend of mine proposed like this: He and his girlfriend had been shopping around the city, and she saw a cute little teddybear that she liked. When she wasn't looking, he bought it. Then, they went and got afternoon tea (nothing fancy - a fun tea in one of the crypt cafes), and he had tied the ring to the bow around the bear's neck. He gave it to her, and asked her to marry him. Isn't that sweet?

I’m not entirely sure I’ll ever be proposed to. I mean, I’m kind of difficult with the subject; I think the world is really, really messed up in this day ’n‘ age, so I doubt that I could ever find someone I “love” so much that I could spend the rest of my life with and not have a paranoia that he’s using me or somethin‘. gonk

In all honesty, I probably shouldn’t be; I’ve witnessed plenty of successful marriages, my parent’s, aunts’, uncles’, and most everyone close to me’s included, but I just think that a man would be driven so crazy attempting to get me to trust him that he would just give up...maybe I’ll marry the one who doesn’t... Who knows?

Things that would sum up my dream proposal:

1. It would have to be from someone I would say “yes” to, and at a good time for me, too; otherwise, it’d just be ruined on my side. gonk

2. Preferably, I would love it to be under the stars on a cool night in a secluded location—kind of cut off from a majority of people, but still close enough to hear them: like Disney World, as so many people have suggested—that’s beautifully lit and surrounded by flowers... whee

That would pretty much do it for me. Something impressive like that would definitely weigh well with me, and it really helps tie together the thoughts of me ever getting married. :XP:

My lovely boyfriend, now fiance, had proposed to me last year! -giggle- At the Renaissance Festival in the ring shop. XDDD After buying me a pewter/sterling silver claddagh ring. XD
