Nasty little feedback monkeys. Their suggestions that I quit are starting sound like a good idea. evil

If you let any of them persuade you in anyway, I'd be more than a little shocked and disappointed.

Agreed. Like I said in your thread, the ones doing all the bitching at your direction are either;
A: Threatened they will suffer for Gaia not getting enough donations
or
B: They don't ddonate themselves.
Sad thing is I don't think the admins care. If they did we would have heard something by now. They posted a frikkin' poll for god's sake about the new design and when it got a majority that disapproved, what did they do? Took the poll down.

Honestly, I'm not surprised that we haven't heard anything.
Gaia Online is a business, so there is undoubtedly a process and need for some sort of consensus before a decision is made. Beyond needing to decide whether or not any changes will be made, they need to decide what changes will be made, and on what level. On top of that, they have to determine how each of those decisions are going to affect their business, and where they want to go as a company. Especially in a business world, this takes a lot of time. And Gaia, in and of itself, seems to tend toward not announcing things until they are done, or at least nearly done. While I'm not a big fan of the changes, I think it's unfair to assume that suggestions and complaints are falling on deaf ears.

Well, it just seems suspicious, at least to me, that they took the poll down when they got over 4500 people saying they did not like the new design.
Like I told Wally myself, within the next year I bet anything they change our avis to look less anime. burning_eyes

After alot of thought, I believe I'll join you. I have enough gold on this account that I can start investing in sealed letters with the gold I currently have and create a self sustaining investment, thus not missing out on the actual items. lol

The problem is trying to get the Admins first to admit that any thing they may be wrong. Getting thisngs to change may be a losing battle, and i don't think a few people refusing to buy donation letters will actually change anything. Trust me, been there done that.

The admins are evil. evil
Also, I don't donate I rely completely on Greta.

If the demand is still there, they still get the same money in their pockets.

Raven_Darkholme It's fewer donations period. I'm buying the same commodity with financially irrelevant currency. I understand, but there are those who buy as many donation items as they think they can sell. If they are able to sell more because you have stopped donating and are buying from them, they simply donate more and the money still goes to the admins. What happens with the Gaia gold in between is irrelevant.

In the end we are pretty much small fish in a big big pond... For everyone of us that boycotts there are hundreds that continue to buy. Much like Greer told me about boycotting because of VS threads getting the ban in the AMC. We are to few in number.

There were some good support in the thread last night, and thanks to you guys that were part of it.
Read the Lanzer announcement, and that gives me a lot of hope.
