Because Sakura's like Spring, and Sasuke's like Winter..
Think about the seasons. Winter gives way to Spring. And Spring weather always melts the snow and ice.

xD But it's true. You can also compare it to night and dawn. With night as Sasuke and Sakura being the dawn.
I really think Kishi thought up of all this. >> I know I say this all the time, but KISHI WOULD NOT PUT SO MUCH SPOTLIGHT ON THOSE TWO IF IT WERENT IMPORTANT!
T.T And in the fillers, there is SO much NaruHina, I think Kishi is trying to say "NaruSaku WON'T happen."
The only thing standing in the way is SAI.
And I think Ino's taking care of that one. :3

Kishimoto said in an interview that he is aware of the many fans SasuNaru and SasuSaku have. He also said that in most stories like his, the main girl ends up with the guy she didn't like at the start, but that it's possible his story won't end that way. [Don't ask for the interview; I saw it at some forum. x_x]
That boosted my confidence.
