The Doctor has been lying about his age for a very long time. He is very vain. For instance, he claimed to be 750 years old at one point, but continued to say that when he had clearly lived a lot longer, and only suddenly admitted to being 900. Then at one point he said he was over a thousand - and now you say he's gone back to being "900" again? Rassilon help us!

It might be that he's been travelling in the TARDIS for 900 years, and If he has, and if he borrowed the TARDIS at 236 (complicated, explain later) then he'd be 1136!

Well, maybe rude isn't the right word... well, it all depends on the Doctor, I mean I find usually that they aren't really blatantly... rude... its more... sarcasm, cynicism... he's sort of... ahh, its hard to explain. I quite like the spastic, enthusiastic kind of personality, and just the calm approach to death and everything (not all doctors had that).

But as for the age, it is rather confusing, I wish he's just say how old he actually is. I mean, its not as if Time Lords have anything to be ashamed of, they still look good.

As for not telling what he feels... he's never really been good at that, I'm guessing from previous experiences, and the fact that he's completely alone now (apparantly) ... one of a kind. It's not really that he doesn't trust people, more that... he just doesn't like to talk about it, I find.

But yeah, he is really hot!!!

I wouldn't say selfish either... vain, possibly, but not selfish.
