She was on the verge of telling him that the potion would only allow one person to get back, but decided against it. "I've got some family stuff I've got to finish up with. My aunt called while I was at the police office and asked me to stop by, before I go back to New York, but I don't think I'm going back for a while. I'm just going to stop by, and see what she wants." She said, smiling slightly.

((I'm not going to be able to leave with your potion, I dunno how we're goin to work around that...))
"WATCH OUT!!" One of the wasteland monsters flew out of the sand and darted towards Jen.
Matt pushed her out of the way and put his hands out to try his best at blocking the creature, when suddenly it burst into flames.
"I...I used my fire-starting powers!"
Suddenly another monster lunged at them, evidentaly noticing the amount of power. Matt reached out his hands again to try and enflame it again, but nothing happened. The teeth ended up scratching Matt's arm.
"Lets get out of here." He threw the potion Jen gave him. "You go first."

"No, just Go!" She shouted, because she was farther from the portal. "Just GO! I'll catch up." She said, standing still. "You're closer to it, go." She said, again, dogding another attack.

"Fine! But you're somming right behind me!" He ran towards the portal, but stopped as he saw the beast lunge towards Jen, who was looking the wrong way.
"NO! STOP!" Matt put his hand out, hoping something would happen. The beast's head caught on fire, burning its eyes and causing to rely on smell alone.
"Jen, come on!" He ran into the portal. Withought any warning the portal closed around him. "JEN!!"
Matt became lost in swirls and lights. He could see the opening to the portal above him and he noticed he was flying towards it. He was becoming closer and closer, but aslo going slower and slower.
Matt suddenly came to a stop and instead of going up, rapidly fell down. He crashed through the other, closed, end of the portal and fell back into the demonic wasteland.
He lay on the sand, unable to move. "Whaa...what happened?" He finaly got some bearing on where he was. "JEN!?!? JEN!?!? Are you there?"

"Matt, what are you still doing here?" She asked, obviously startled, that he was back.
"Damn it, it didn't work, I was afraid of that. Someone needs to tell Blake he could call us out with that spell." She said, feeling the need to communicate with Blake, she went into a dazed sleep, type thing.
((Astral Projection, I figured this would be a good way to get that out there.))
After about a minute she came back. "Ok, that was wierd." She said, shaking her head.

"What was wierd? You're not going to pass out on me are you?"
The beast tried to attack again, and this time, remembering the trigger, Matt focused more on protecting Jen than killing the beast. Just as he had hoped, the monster was disentegrated by fire.
"Ok, on the plus side, I can kinda control my power. Too bad it wasnt telepathy or astral projection though. We need Blake's help..."

"Uh, yea, I think I already contacted Blake." She said, sitting down. "Thanks, by the way, you know, for saving my life, twice." She said, smiling slightly. "I think I astral projected." She explained.

"I tried to tell him to try the 'to call a lost witch spell,' but I'm not sure how much of that he got." She sighed, shaking her head, and standing up, and focusing on attempting to contact Blake again, but no luck. "I don't know how I did it." She sighed.

"Alright, I'll try it." She said, and tried to concentrate on being behind Matt, when all of a sudden she dazed again, and appeared behind Matt. She tapped him on the shoulder, and then phazed back. "I always feel dizzy after I do that." She complained.
