Don't know about rarest, but the most expensive is a Gibson SG Special (One in the shop, and my band's bassist's dad's.)

I''ve never hplayed nothing real rare either. Held my uncle''s 60-something SG, which just happened to be pink when he picked it up in the pawn shop years ago for about $200 ( eek ). He flipped it around and notched the nut and bridge to suit his left-playing, so I couldnt play it sad

Hell, I never leave the local shop without playing EVERYTHING - including the acoustics, sometimes. When I walk in, the owners like "Hey, Kris! Here to break in all my new guitars?" xD It's wonderful. The sad thing is that I DO break them all in.. even ones that've been there forever xD

Yeah its a pretty small shop... The most high end guitars theyve had is maybe an American strat or two behind the counter. Mostly Epiphones, Staggs, and Washburns. He had a couple of nice Jacksons, Ibenez, and Hamers there last time I was there. The thing that pisses me off is he has no tube amps sad

I mean they have high end strats and Ibanezes, and maybe some PRS's ina glass case, but no epis, or Gibbies, or Jacksons ( okay maybe two or three), or anything!!! they hardly ever order em anywhere around here. Ive been dying to play a real Les Paul ( Gibby or epi), since Gibbys are only sold on the other side of the island, I want to try out a epi les paul, the problem: they come in small quantities, and sell like hot cakes stressed p.s. they do have Deans but I hate deans...

Local shop here just became an -official- retailer of Epiphone, so its like christmas for them... they decked the halls with LPs and SGs! I swear, I walked in there after a couple of months of absence, and BOOM! The entire top row of their wall of guitars is NOTHING but Epi Les Paul variations. Bottom row was quite full of SGs and the rest of their stock (again, staggs and Hamers and such)

Probably my Strat, because one it's from 1978, and it's custom. Not custom like the special edition guitars they make tons of. It's was made for some guy just for him, then he sold it off. Also it is really from '78, not a '78 model.

XD, but I still think its bad to dot that, we guitarist need variety, not just one type of guitar gonk
