"Yes, some, if not most, would. At least, I'm one of them," he replied with a somewhat lopsided smile. "It's nice to stay still for once in my life. I think you may enjoy it as well when you're a little older and raising cubs of your own."
Kazi closed his eyes as a wind picked up around them, and he sighed. "Have you any siblings or family nearby Kia?" he asked. It was nearing nighttime and he would soon have to return back to the pridelands. He had only intended to eat in peace at a distance from the majority of the lions from the pride, however meeting another rogue seemed to change his plans a bit. "Where are you supposed to stay the night?" The male knew that she wouldn't go back to the pridelands with him, but he could always offer to help find a place for her to stay the night before heading back alone.

She blinked, her gaze turning towards the horizon, which the sun was sinking behind faster than the juvenile had pictured it. She frowned looking around "Not nearby..." she sighed "At least a fifth of suntime's run away"
she frowned. Amoret would surely know she was gone by now, and traveling at night was dangerous anyhow. She would have to leave the next morning..... or maybe the next afternoon... she hadn't seen the big pointy rock yet up close, after all.
"I suppose I'll be staying the night right here sir" she nodded, looking towards a patch of tall grass that should conceal her well enough from any harm that may come.

Kazi chuckled lightly and shook his head before jerking in slightly in a particular direction. "Let's find you a temporary place to stay the night. Sleeping out in the open is dangerous, especially when you're not full-grown yet. Wouldn't want to end your life early now, would you?" He smiled softly at her and turned to the east. "Follow me. I stayed in a cave a little nearby here." And with that, he started to sprint forward, not wanting to look back but rather...trusting his new acquintance. If anything, he hoped she would listen to him. He, even when he'd grown into an adult, had never slept out in the open.

"End my life?!" she said with a shocked look on her face. She had never equated sleeping outside to death before, but she supposed that she might as well start. Still looking rather stricken by the thought of something coming to eat her in her sleep she looked around again for Kazi only to realize that he was speeding away.
"Wait up!" her smaller strides stumbled across the ground to catch up with and keep pace with his larger, faster ones. Even now, her gaze flickered about nervously as she wondered what sorts of beasts would eat her in the night. She whimpered quietly at the thought. Perhaps there were a lot of these creatures!

The male hurried on, racing the setting sun to his destination and hoping that he'd get there before the sun was completely gone. The shelter he'd been talking about was deathly hard to find at night. Kazi quickly turned back, his eyes catching the position of the sun and he growled low to himself. "Hurry!!" he called over to her as he picked up his speed just a bit. Within minutes Kazi was sitting at the mouth of a large den, panting and out of breath. He smiled when he caught sight of the young lioness after a moment or two, and waited patiently for her to reach the cave.

Hurry?! Her ears swiveled backwards as she caught his words. Perhaps they were being followed.... maybe one of those dreadful creatures were after them already to make a meal out of them and it wasn't even the moon's turn to shine yet. She beat her paws faster against the earth in a desperate sort of clumsy attempt to catch up to Kazi. The distance between them lengthened and she frowned in an open mouthed grimace of fear, but she continued to run.
Thankfully he had stopped within a short time which allowed the juvenile to run up to Kazi and cower behind him at the mouth of the cave. Her green eyes glittered as she watched the shadows carefully. "Let's see the monster try to eat me now!" she growled, mocking her imaginary fears that chased her there, a small grin curled aross her features as she did so.

(( lol S'ok. ^__^ ))
Kazi looked at the lioness oddly, cocking his left brow in curiosity. "Monsters?" he asked with a somewhat confused tone. "I just wanted to get here before nightfall. This place is impossible to find in the dark." The male laughed lightly at her rather amusing display of fear. "There aren't any monsters around here. This is an isolated cave," he said quietly, as though someone were listening to him. "It's a comfortable enough place to sleep."

"No Monsters?" she smiled slightly, breathing a deep sigh of relief as she walked a few steps into the opening of the den. Not only was that worry relieved, but she felt much safer than normal with a larger lion around. She walked about the cave, her eyes scanning it's rocky earthen walls with wonder as her small feet made tiny impressions in the ground. "It does seem rather cozy in here" she said in agreement to him, a genuinely content smile on her face.
As night approached faster the female yawned as if the curtain of night closed a curtain on her day in one swift motion. She watched the scenery happily, the setting sun cast a reddish glow on her clay-toned coat as her eyelids drooped. She looked up to Kazi, the placid smile on her face speaking a million words of gratitude to the larger lion. She turned her back to the sun set and curled up against an inner wall of the cave. Her green eyes, nearly closed caught tiny rays of remaining light as she admired the shelter that was shown to her
"Thank you Kazi" she said simply "and goodnight" her eyes drifted shut as she nestled her head onto her paws and fell asleep. A smile still painted on her face, it had been a very good day.

"You're welcome," Kazi said with a smile, nodding at the young lioness with a sleepy look on his face. He still had to make the journey back to the pride lands that night. The male padded over to the lioness and nudged her arm softly. "I have to get going now, sleep well Kia. I hope to see you again soon." He stood up straight and left the den as quietly as he could before making a break for the pride lands. The grown lion smiled for the entirety of his run. He had managed to help another lioness out...and that made him rather content. "She'll be fine..." he said to himself once he had arrived at his own den. Kazi walked inside and situated himself on a higher platform near the back of the den before nestling his face in his arms. He closed his eyes, a smile still on his face, and slowly fell into a dreamless sleep.
