I honestly can't see Kaoru with Battousai... Her effervescent personality would proabably scare him a bit and make him close off.
And Tomoe is too quiet to get through to the Rurouni.
Trust and Betrayal is one of the greatest movies of all time in my lowly opinion.

TRUST AND BETRAYL RULZ!!! 4laugh thats true though but i think kaoru and tomoe both have special features that make them perfect for kenshin different times of his life. *glomps kenshin*

i really hate to choose. .so i picked which ever ne randomly popped upin my head and plus tomoenever hit kenshin kaoru's way too domesticqally abusive for my taste. . .

I like Tomoe better than Karou. Tomoe helped Kenshin feel emotion and become the rurouni and out of the battosai and Karou did the opposite. Plus I agree with whoever said that Karou was bi-polar. Its a bit scary...

i like kaoru more tomoe seems more cold if u ask me besides the fact that she originally wanted to hurt the battousai for hurtin her fiancee
i think kaoru is outgoing and sweet she works to complete the battousai/kenshin
wen ur cold and sad ud want to be with sumone happy like ur total opposite ne? i just prefer her more...i dont like tomoe....too cold for my liking

I gotta agree with Battousai-nii. I personally like Kaoru more for Kenshin in the long run, she's basically the one who keeps him sane XD
Tomoe wouldn't have fitted very well in the meiji era...seeing as she had difficulties smiling, but she's still a very important person in Kenshin's life. If it wasn't for her, there would have never been a rurouni in the first place!

GO KAORU! lolz i think shes better in a way...she never betrayed kenshin...or tried to and shes really bubbly and optomistic!! ^^ she only hits ppl wen she gets insecure...besides she was raised in a home without a mom and her dad taught sword fighting so ya lol

I believe Kaoru and Tomoe both played important parts in Kenshin's life. Both women helped Kenshin become who he is, but I actually like Kaoru more than Tomoe. I like Kaoru's personallity better than Tomoe's.

I think they're both suited to the Kenshin they met. Toboe has a quiet style that fits alongside the Battosai but Kaoru has an enegetic style that fits Ken-san's friendly disposition...personally I like Kaoru for her comedic standpoint but I think Tomoe is cool too.
