"Indeed that is so." Mpenzi agreed with her last comment, mulling over it in thought for a bit, almost spacedly. Yes. She would remember that thought.
"About myself, I can say nothing. All I may say is that I am a mother, and the Kaimu of a struggling pride. There is nothing more I would allow myself to be spread out into the world, in record of my pride's tradition."
Almost tempted to ask the other about herself, she stopped.
"I would inquire in turn, but it is only rude to do so, when I cannot do the same myself."

"One must keep what one things is most important to themselves for fear of those wanting to take that from them." Siria'Chunuka replied to Mpenzi when she did not reveal much about herself. The maned wolf did not seem to mind however "If you do not want it known to the world then do keep it to yourself."
A pause followed that as the words formed on the tounge of the wolf. "If you wish to know about me than you may, follow my tale closely although it is but a short one." She paused letting all of her memories flow through her.
"I was born to a single mother, whose supposed lover had abandoned her when he found she was carring his children. I am the sole survivor of her litter consisting of eight puppies. She cared for me it seemed since I was the only thing she had left to hold onto after her lover left her. Soon she began to grow angry and had many mood swings, the next thing I knew I was alone with only a writing in the dirt saying she left to find herself, to clear her head." She paused, she did not believe her story was a sad one but a story that had happened to many. "I have not seen her since, or if I did I did not recognize her."
"That is not a sad tale for if she had not left I would have not been able to travel the world like I have, and I have indeed enjoyed my many journeys. Though some are most uninteresting."

Mpenzi listened intently, her own mood seeming to swing with the short story, nodding. "Indeed.. it is sad, though I'm sure by now, you've grown far to use to hearing that." she mused, though there was that sting of motherhood that struck her instincts.
She forced herself to ignore it, however and simply nodded. "It's not that I don't want to share my story with you.. it's that I cannot.. for the sake of saftey.." she frowned a bit at the thought. Indeed.. she could allow nothing of the Mteo'nyungu be spread out to the world as common knowledge...
it would be dangerous to her people.. though.. perhaps on the bare whisp of the wind.. just maybe.
Rising up, the Kaimu approached the other, her head held low, before dropping herself barely within ear-shot. ".. Would it be too much for me to ask of you to perhaps do a favor of my pride?" she inquired...
perhaps.. just perhaps..
this one.. she could trust to maybe give word to the outside world of her people... maybe... it would bring those that could help her pride here.. but perhaps...
it would destroy them all.

"One grows used to hearing words that are said often."
"I understand," Siria replied to the lioness with a slight nod of her head. "The safety of one you care is more important than anything else." The black and green wolf closed her eyes for a moment thinking things over.
When the question was asked her eyes fluttered opened. "I would be honored to do a favor for the pride of such a colorful mind." The female simply spoke the truth in those word, she had no reason to lie in anyway shape or form. "Ask away."
She had lost her cryptic word at the moment since she knew this was of importance, or thats what her instincts told her.

She hesitated for a moment, before whispering.
"My pride.... we are almost dead as a pride, and are in need of others whom could strengthen both our power, and our numbers... it may be a bit to ask, but I see that I can trust you, wanderer with this request; To those rogues you see whom could possibly help us....
Would you spread our word to them?" she inquired, before lifting her head again, and dropping the hushed whisper.
"Due to our ways, we cannot leave ourselves to inquire this of the outside world...
thus it would help us all a great deal to know that someone in which I give my trust could help us in our greatest time of need."

The voice of Siria had dropped as well when she replied. "As a favor to you, I shall, I will let those I meet along the ways know of your message." She paused then "Fear not however, I do know whom I can trust with your words and who would use them to harm you."
"I will myself bring them here when the time comes." She then took a step backward. "Colorful minded Mpenzi, I feel that it is now time for me to bid you farewell." She stopped studying the other for a moment "There will come a day when I will return, and then I will bring help. I promise you that."
With those as her final words she turned and began to walk away.

With a grateful sigh, the Kaimu rose up in turn, bowing her head to her new friend. "And you whom I will call friend both on you're leave, and upon you're return, I send my good wishes, and prayers of blessing from Kita'mauti with you, and after you."
As well, she too turned and started to walk back towards the home of her people, a slight spring in her step.
Perhaps...
there was hope for them afterall.
In fact, she was sure of it.
