4. Once after a performance some people were going out for food, and Michael stuck his head out the window to tell them to get something for him. Well, he was still in his full Phantom make up (without the mask on). A woman saw him and accidentally ran her car into a lampost or something of the like.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh my god that's horrible...but I simply could not stop laughing. I can totally see that happening xd .

XD Omfg. That's awful. I'd feel terrible.

Brightman: We're going to McDonalds! See you in a few minutes.
Crawford: Augh... *just about to take make-up off* Wait! Hold on! *sticks head out the window* Get something for me, too, please!
Lady: O___O OMFGSCARYMAN. *jerks wheel* *crashes*
Crawford: O_O D: *Le guilt* Sorry!! *waves*
Lady: *stares* *faints*
Crawford: ._.;;;

XDD That's priceless.

The woman wasn't hurt in the accident, but Michael was so worried that he ran outside to make sure she was alright.

And I'm sure that really helped her condition xd . Woman: Aah! He's coming this way!

Unromantic, these are great!

Well, up close the make up really isn't quite so frightening. It's stage make up, so it's meant to be seen by people sitting all the way across the theater. It can't be subtle, so it doesn't look as good close up.

O_O XD Oh, dear god, that might be even worse.

Lady: O_______O OOOOOMFGSCARYMANOMFGSKULL!! *screams*
Crawford: @_@

Unromantic_Phantom: More facts (goofs?) because Youko-chan was so nice to actually request more.

XD; Thanks... these're absolutely hilarious. *likes adding own random comments whether people read them or not* >_>; XD; It makes me happy.

5. Peter Karrie (played Phantom) was another one to stick his head out a window while wearinf his make up. Some people on the street saw him, screamed, and scattered.

Karrie: o_o; Wait...! Hold on a second! *sticks head out the window*
Crowd: O________O AAAIIIEEEEE!!!! *scream and scatter* OMFGIT'SANUGLYMAN!! HE'S GOING TO EAT US!!!!

6. Another time with Peter Karrie took place during a performance. He managed to rip his pants during the Angel scene (All I Ask Reprise). He swore to never again wear white underclothes.

XD OMFG!!!!!!! That's... priceless.

Karrie: DDDDD:< YOU WILL CURSE THE DAY YOU DID NOT DO ALL THAT THE PHANTOM ASK OF -riiiiiiiiip- you...?
Crowd: *gigglesnort*

7.Yes, once again Peter Karrie. He fell through an actual trapdoor once and was lost for quite some time.

"Anyone seen Karrie around lately?"
"Who?"

8. One Phantom fell down the stairs during "Why So Silent", but the lines were pre-recorded so he kept on "singing" even as he was tumbling down the stares.

XD Oh, that's great.

Phantom: Why so silent good mssrs? Did you think that I had left you for go- *trips* *tumbling down the stairs* od? Have you missed me good mssrs? I have written you an opera! *lying dazed and confused at the bottom of the stairs* Here I bring the finished score!!! Don Juan Triumphant! *groans*
Crowd: ....wtf? Was that supposed to happen?!

9. Most Madame Girys develop Carpal Tunnel Syndrome because the cane they carry is much too heavy.

XD Poor Giry.

10. The trick that the Phantom uses to "disappear" at the end of the performance is very cleverly set up. The chair has a false back. When the Phantom throws the cloak over himself he attaches the top to a wire, which pulls out, keeping the shape of the head. The back is released, and he can simply slide into the false back.

Oh, that's so cool.... omfg... I want a chair like that. XD I wonder if any Phantoms've missed that... like... not hooked the cloak up in time...

Meg: *pulls the cloak off*
Phantom: Erm... hi? o____o *thinking, "Oh, s**t..."*
Angry Mob: Erm... ah?
Phantom: OMFG! O_O *falls through the back of the chair* I'm alright!
Audience: ...what the...?

>_> These were so great. XD Thank you so much for posting them. I had waaay too much fun with them.

Your little comments are making me laugh all the more at these, so I have come with more to share!

11. Once when Meg was going to pick up the mask at the end of the performance a piece of the throne fell off, and the audience was able to see one of the guy's hands inside of it.

12. One Phantom accidentally stepped on the end of Christine's dress as they were getting out of the boat, and both of them fell flat on their faces.

13. Brad Little (Phantom in the touring company) was singing "Music of the Night" when the woman playing Christine sneexed on his hand. She had to use all of her reserve as he tried to discretely wipe his hand while continuing singing.

14. One Phantom managed to light himself on fire during the final lair scene. While he was freeing Raoul from the noose a spark from the candle caught the wig on fire. He didn't realize it until he noticed the rest of the cast gaping in horror at him. He started beating on his head to put it out, which fortunately went with that scene well enough that the audience never noticed anything.

15. One Madame Giry banged her cane so hard that it got stuck between the floorboards, and she was unable to get it out. It eventually fell out on its own, and she retrieved it.

I'm almost out, but I have a couple more. One of them is my personal favorite.

If you look closely, at the painting of La Carlotta in the movie, the head she's holding on a platter is ALW's

Audience: o_o Is the Phantom.... scratching himself?!

Christine: *shakes head* ...pitiful creature....

15. One Madame Giry banged her cane so hard that it got stuck between the floorboards, and she was unable to get it out. It eventually fell out on its own, and she retrieved it.

Giry: D:< STAY! *fwap* ON! *fwap* BEAT!! *fwap!!!!*
Cane: *lodged in the floorboards*
Giry: *tugs on it*
Cane: ...
Giry: *tugs on it again*
Cane: ...
Giry: *under breath* Screw it... *walks away*
Cane: *falls over*

I'm almost out, but I have a couple more. One of them is my personal favorite.

XD Oh, please. Anything you've got. I love these. They're absolutely hilarious.

>_> When I saw Thouroughly Modern Millie (or... however you spell the first word... I can never spell it right... XD;;; ) the girl playing Millie fell out of her chair. It was the perfect moment, so it went well. XD The only way you could tell she wasn't supposed to was it you've seen the play before, or you saw her face when she fell. XDDD Or.... payed attention to the really long, awkward silence.

I love the one about Crawford scaring some woman into crashing her car. Man, if that had been me...
MC: Wait, get me a big mac!
Me: O_O AHHHHHHH!!!!! *Car crashes* AHHHHHH!!!
MC: "Are you okay?" *rushes over*
Me: ERIK!!!! *glomp*
MC: *whimpers* "Sarah! Get it off!"

Yay! People enjoy my posts! ^.^

Okay. Here are the final things that I know of. There's going to be more than just five...and I'm expecting comments from Youko-chan on every one of them.

16. The mannequin that reaches out and grabs Christine (only in the stage show) during "Music of the Night" isn't really a mannequin at all. It is an actress wearing a mask made to look like the actress playing Christine. In any subsequent scenes she is replaced by a real mannequin.

17. In the graveyard scene there is a large cross that the Phantom is hiding inside. In some productions it opens from the back, but in the London it opens from the front. You cannot see the Phantom however, because he is wearing black, and that is also the color of the inside of the cross.

18. The Overture is pre-recorded, so it uses a real organ. It is the only place in the stage production where a real organ is used.

19. One Phantom understudy experienced some embarrassment while playing the part. While he was on the proscenum laughing at Carlotta during the "Il Muto" scene he tripped and fell flat on his face.

20. Another guy playing the Phantom had to skip out at intermission to have an emergency root canal. His understudy had to take over the rest of the show.

21. Michael Crawford suffered hernia as a result of playing Phantom. He left the hospital two weeks after surgery because the understudy (Steve Barton, who was also the original Raoul) had managed to injure himself and was unable to play the part. He left against doctor's orders, and was so heavily drugged up on pain medication that while waiting in the Angel sculpture he fell asleep. They didn't find out he was asleep until they turned on his microphone.

Give the man props for his dedication.

22. Colm Wilkinson had some trouble with than angel sculpture. It got caught up somehow when they were raising it after the "All I Ask Reprise", and it tilted forward at a dangerous angle. It was all he could do to keep from falling out. For even more fun, Colm's wife was in the audience that night, and when she saw what was happening she jumped up and started screaming for someone to help her husband.

23. The last one is rather infamously called "Grab Night". This was also with Colm Wilkinson performing the part of Erik. It occurred during "Point of No Return". While Christine was sitting on the bench Colm grabbed a handful of her a**. Later, when it was his turn sitting on the bench, she grabbed a handful of his a** as way of revenge. He was so surprised that he fell off of the bench.

That's all I've got. I hope everyone enjoyed them, and I wonder if you can guess which one is my favorite.
