Seeing three figures in the distance, the little cub blinked and sighed. Her parents and was it Shimah? Witha shoulder shrug she smiled to Yaten and then turned to see Siltim. He was quiet, way too quiet. Resting for a moment she waited so she could stand side-by-side with him and she listened then spoke, "Nervous about Ma'?" Ma'isah asked in a caring older sister voice. Nudgin him with her shhoulder blade she let a smile twinkle over her muzzle and her eyes lay ahead as she whispered, "I won't let her attack you. I promise. Smother, that I promise." She let the last promise hang off her tounge ina sort of tricky way. Poor little Siltim, no he actually wasn't very little. Him and his sister were nearly the same height, it made Ma'isah to shiver as she thought he might be bigger then her when he became a true adult lion, even though he was the runt.

The ebony cheetah went a few ways and then stopped to let the cubs go to their parents. Sitting down, he looked to Siltim and Ma'isah, "I'll stay here while you talk with your parents, okay?"
Lime green eyes looked to Yaten and then to Ma'isah before walking forward. Oh, he knew what his mother would do alright and there was nothing anyone could do to stop it. But, he perked up just a tad as he spotted Shimah with them too. He hasn't seen his other sister in quite a while.

Shimah ran out ot her brother and sister and stopped short. She smiled to them both and gave a wag of her tail. "Ma'isah! Siltim! It's good to see you again." In a low voice before her parents came, "Who's that over there?" Meaning the black cheetah, as he looked kind of funny to her, not like any lion she's seen before.
Mika'il looked back to his mate and nodded. It was a cheetah, but what were his two children doing with a cheetah? Glancing at Shimah's running figure, he stood up and walked over to his children, "Glad to see you both home. Did you have fun?"

In a heartbeat, Na'ilah was making her way over to Ma'isah and Siltim. Glancing at her two cubs, she noticed that Ma'isah had a nice sized bruise on her back leg. Her lime green eyes flickered between the cheetah and Ma'isah. Did this cheetah hurt her baby?! Her voice rising, "Where have you two been? Do you know how worried I was about you two when I didn't know where you two were heading off to! Don't even get me started on how much in trouble you two are!" Eyes narrowed a bit, "Did that cheetah hurt you any, Ma'isah!?" She took a few steps in Yaten's direction.

A small paw hit the griund as she looked to see Shimah racing to them. Ma'isah smiled and tilted her head at her and started to speak, "Shimah, it has been too lon-" her voice was interupted by her father. Nodding she went and nuzzled him lovingly then turned to her mother. Oh no, she saw the bruise. How would they explain that, she couldn't possible say that they were in the middle of a stampede and she was chasing her brother hoping he was alright. Shaking her head she saw her mother creep her way to Yaten. Ma'isah quickly botled out under her mother's legs and stood in front of her blocking a small bit of path leading to Yaten. "No Ma', he did not hurt me. He is my friend, Siltim's too. I got the bruise from uh- tripping when I was chasing after Siltim in the grass. There was a rock and you know me, I get to caught up in the fun and well before you know it a giant rock came out of no where. I slid to a stop but my legs were too slow." Her eyes rested on her mothers, holding in the lie. Oh a little lie couldn't hurt, it was better then telling her about what Siltim and her got into. Turning she walked to Yaten and smiled then looked to her mother, "This is Yaten."

A small smile appeared as Siltim greeted his sister and father. He was happy to see them. "That's Yaten...and we had a good time. We got to explore this area a little." But, no sooner had those words left his mouth did his mother notice the bruise on Ma'isah's leg and yell at him. Eyes and ears lowered as he stood there, saying nothing but sneaking glances towards Yaten.
Chocoate eyes gazed at the lions, taking in all their fabulous colors! He's never seen lions so colorful before in his life. As the mother came over, he knew how this would be like and stayed calm. With a friendly smile and the flick of his tail, he let Ma'isah tell the tale of how she bruised herself. "I'm Yaten. I found these two cubs wandering around the grasslands and watched over them because I didn't want anything to happen to them."

Lime green eyes bore down on her minty daughter, listening to her tale. For some reason, Na'ilah wasn't sure if she should believe her dauhter or not. But, to let this slide, she let out a breath and looked at the ebony cheetah. He looks pretty calm and friendly, not one that was willing to hurt her babies, right? Her features soften slightly, "A pleasure to meet you, Yaten. I see you've met my two adventurous child. I am Na'ilah and that is my mate, Mika'il and my other daughter, Shimah. Thanks for watching over my children." Well, it couldn't be all that bad, right? At least they were under the supervision of another. Lime green eyes shifted and landed on Siltim, eyeing him over, looking for any bruises, marks, broken bones, whatnot to show that he's been hurt. "It is good to have you back."

Mika'il got up and went by his mate's side. Listening to the cheetah, the male flashed him a smile, "I see my mate's already introduced me and it is nice meeting a friend of my children." Turning to Na'ilah, he nuzzled her in the hopes of calming down. To Ma'isah, "Make sure to be more careful next time." To all, "Come, lets get out of the open and into the den. You're more than welcome to come along, Yaten."
Shimah's eyes got wide as she slowly made her way to the cheetah, staring at him. "Wow!" He looked so much bigger than she was. At her father's words, she ran back to towards the den, "Come on, everyone!" She wanted to hear all about the adventure.

Ma'isah let her ears perk up with a growing smile on her lips. So her mother took in that little lie, oh was that a good thing? Flicking her tail she nudged Yaten and nipped at him playfull before walking to where SIltim and SHimah stood. Some how when her parents accepted Yaten, it mad eher feel a bit better. Though what shocked th elittle mint was that their mother hadn't gone balistic in tears and whopping Siltim in her hold. That was something she would have expected. Looking over to SIltim, her emerald eyes glowed lightly as she winked at him. Oh how intresting this was, what would they say instead of thier travels of running with the stampede? Surely at least Siltim and Ma'isah would tell Shimah and Rami, as long as they kept that part a secret. Her shoulders haunched as she strode with each step in a proud way, the name fitted her. Somehow when she walked it looked like she was a mini huntress, waiting for the time for her first and real hunt.

The ebony cheetah dipped his head to both Na'ilah and Mika'il. "It's a pleasure to meet you both as well. And Shimah, of course." Yaten stood up and followed after the lion family into their den. It felt weird at first, being invited into the den of a lion, but he was glad. Chocolate eyes glanced at the silent Siltim and wondered where all his energy went off to?
Silently, Siltim caught his sister's wink and gave her a weak smile. His stomach was doing flips as he wondered what his mother was up to? She was going to yell at him once Yaten left, that much he was guessing. It wouldn't be like his mother to make herself look like a fool in front of company. He spotted the den up ahead and went inside.
Following ahead of the others, Na'ilah glanced back at her family every so often and then to Yaten. She would have a serious chat with Siltim later. Heading into the den, she smiled and chatted with everyone.
