Malen nodded " More fun for me but eventually she's going to become a teenager and I'll be unable to connect with her anymore no matter what common interests we share."
Zah's cry startled Kishi and she jumped involuntarily. Turning to peer over her shoulder she smiled at her friend " We can get the bad bugs' she reasurred him. Of course Kishi had no really clue how to defeat the fireflies but now that there were two of them they had a better chance right?

"I'm...pretty sure I have nothing in common with Zah from the start." As sad as that was, Neveah seemed to find it terribly amusing, as she giggled to herself in content.
Zasalamel's arms, which stayed stubbornly in the air, went waving wildly above his head. "AAAABAAAAAAAH~!" He cried out again, hoping to make enough noise to get the shining bugs to leave him (and Kishi) alone.
"Ouch, Spiderling! Not so loud!" Neveah winced, leaning down to cup her hand lightly over Zah's mouth, to stifle his noise. "You've got a set of lungs on you, we know~" Having successfully silenced her son, she went to nursing her poor, ringing ears.

Malen shook his head but couldn't hide his grin. "We'll atleast you'll never have to worry about losing him in a crowd, one tiny cry and you'll be able to find him anywhere" Malen wondered if that was a baby trait or a gentic Drow trait, the ability to yell loud enough for an echoing voice to reach for miles in underground tunnels?
Kishi let her attention flick between the fireflies and Zah, soon however Zah had her full attention as the glowing bugs made their way to a quieter place in the park. " You scared them away" Kishi said grinning " They were very afraid of you." Saying this Kishi hoped that her threatening them had also helped the bugs decide to leave them alone.

"Well...that IS true...Guess I won't ever have to fear losing him!" Not that she really thought she would lose him at any point, but with her...anything was possible.
Zah stopped his shouting, staring at Kishi and listening to everything she had to say...and when she said they were afraid of him, a rather proud expression formed on his chubby little face. Yes they should be afraid of him, because he's the best! He didn't want to admit Kishi had beaten him, twice.
Neveah looked between her son and Kishi, then to the sky, then to Malen. "I...hate to cut this short, but I'd better start to head home, yeah?" She then pressed her fingers against Zah's back. "Say goodbye to Kishi, Spiderling~"
Zasalamel, naturally, looked disappointed...but his Guardian was the boss, so her word was final! Raising a chubby hand, he clenched and unclenched his fist in the common baby wave, then stuck those same fingers in his mouth while he waited for Neveah to pick him up.

Malen nodded "I understand , we parents are not superpeople we must have some sleep." Although Malen wasn't sure how much of anything the butterfly woman needed he was sure that at least a couple hours of sleep were required.
Kishi returned the wave with a smile. She'd been having fun but she knew when she wen't hoem there would be cookies and cookies were a good thing. "Bye Zah miss you."
